Who is there?

Who is out there that I can call upon?

Who is there for me to talk to?

Is there someone out there that cares?

That cares enough to listen!

To listen to the burdens, the thoughts of my heart

My innermost  thought, trobbing, yearning ……..

Yearning to be spoken, to be shared ……..

Shared with someone, someone who cares.

I’ve looked all over, tried the few …….

The few that came my way

I spoke but they could not hear, did not hear or listen

Could not hear, nor listen because they’ve got ….

They’ve got burdens of their own to bear!

Shared with no one due to fear

Fear of the unknown

Fear of acceptance? Rejection? Or judgement!

Fear of been vulnerable

Vulnerable to be taken advantage of?

Vulnerable to be hurt?

Vulnerability? That’s not an issue!

It’s not an issue with just one being

A spirit being who bears all burden

Who knows and sees the depth

The depth of the soul yet cares

Cares more than we could ever

Could ever imagine caring for oneself or another

Loves us regardless of our filth and cleanliness

Doubt and faith

Strength and weakness

Failures and successes

Jesus Christ of Nazareth

The son of David

The Lion of the tribe of Judah

He loves us with an everlasting love

He is the burden bearer

He alone sees and understand

He is our maker, made you and I in His image

Breathe His breath into us

Made us whole by His blood shed on Calvary’s tree

Jesus!!! Please hold our hands

Hold us close to you Lord!

Let us not stray away from the path

The path of righteousness you have set before us

The path of victory over all evil

The path of peace and joy

The path of signs and wonders

The path of glorious dominion

Dominion only attained by obedience

Obedience to your Will oh Lord

God of heaven and earth!

You who answers prayers

To whom all flesh shall come

Be glory, honor, and adoration

World without end!
