I wish I could say God answered my prayers exactly how I wanted them. Yet, He always answered my prayers. You see, because of my limited knowledge of what tomorrow holds, I ask for what I need and want today and what I think I might need or want tomorrow.
However, Our Father in Heaven, all knowing, all seeing God, in His Sovereignty knows what I need from the next minutes and seconds to eternity and thus gives me those things, be it courage, patience, trials to develop my spiritual muscles, a loving shoulder to lean on, love to cradle in my bosom, a ray of light in the darkest night, the privilege of carrying life within me, birthing so I can experience the power of creation that lives within my soul. God does answer prayers, usually not how we expect, when we expect and what we expect but far beyond what we ask or think of, for His ways are so very higher than our ways.
When I got pregnant for the first time, I prayed for a different sex, you know how we want to have female or male as first child etc. Years after, I am like thank you Lord for giving me a female child first. It’s been a beautiful journey for us so far. I wanted twins too but now I am thankful. Somethings do not make sense until we look back, for until a puzzle is completed it makes no sense. Until Christ finish His work in our lives nothing will make sense to us though everything is planned to the (.) by Jehovah.
Friends, enjoy your journey of faith through the ups and the downs that you will experience. Keep praying even in the darkest night, the sparkling lovers night, the stormy seas of instability, on the mountaintop of peace and joy, the valley of stagnation and despair, and what not, God hears every prayer and will not fail thee! Christ is your anchor, you will not be swept under the current. He hold you still! Under the shadow of His wings! Relax!!!!!!!
The Lord answers prayers friends, you might not have a tangible answer to your prayers of long ago even now, be rest assured that if you faint not, you will indeed have answers to those prayers. Jehovah is working everything out for your good and mine. At the appointed time, I believe is soon, Jesus Christ will make all things beautiful for you.
