Speak To The King!

Judges 17: 6 In those days Israel had no king; everyone did as they saw fit. This sentence was repeated three more times in the book. It means everyone made rules and lives by whatever pleases them per time. They were a law unto themselves, answerable to no one. No guidelines, no best practices, agreed to stipulations of how we ought to live, behave and serve God and others. The list goes on! So is chaos!

King here refers to leadership,  a supreme being, authority and to bring it down to this moment, for a man, a King is first God Almighty, Father – spiritual and biological, bosses, and anyone in authority above you.

A king to a woman represents God Most High first, husband if you are married, Father – both spiritual and biological, bosses and anyone in authority above you. To both sexes, then when there is no “King’, that is, when there is no one we are answerable to, that is when everyone does as they saw fit! We behave and act as we deem fit which does not necessarily mean good, bad or perfect, for you know our knowledge and perspective at best are one-sided and narrow often.

When we do not have the full picture of a situation, we bring tools we think is ideal to play. This most often will give temporary relief, but, to garner a long lasting solution and relief, knowing and having all sides of the issue tabled before us will enable us to proffer the best solution which is where the need for a “King” comes in.

The role of a King cannot be emphasized enough in a nation, life of its people and individuals. Therefore, be careful and prayerful! Only the King Eternal has the full picture of your life and He has given us His Word and His Holy Spirit to guide us. You must be answerable to God, the King Eternal and to those He has set over you. Only then, can you actually live to please Him that died for you

In many instances, Kings have been the downfall of a nation and also the strength, prosperity, peace, and well-being of its people. The King then, that only good emanate from is the King Eternal. From the category of Kings, you have choices to make except in the King – biological father. All others then require you to seek the King Eternal’s input to make the best choice.

Have you been making wrong choices? Does it seem you cannot make right choice since all your choices have been “ish” afterward? Will you go to the King Eternal this moment? Ask Him to help you to make the right choices, not the choices based on your logic, but according to His will for you.

In organizations, we will say industrial best practices, which basically is a generally accepted way of doing things that give the best result superior to other means. Therefore, friends, let your next choice be made in line with the best practices, God’s best for you.

This brings me to this question! Have you given your life to Jesus Christ? I mean the King Eternal! Yes. Praise God! If you haven’t, today is the day to do that. You see, friends, we have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God Romans 3:23! We all need a King, a Savior, and His name is Jesus Christ, be you a man or a woman, young or old! Jesus Christ died for us, let us live for Him! Repent of your sinful ways friend, accept Christ Jesus into your heart, confess Him as the King and Lord over your life. Speak to the King now!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Fear Not! And Obey!

There are many ways that we stand in our own way. When God gives you instruction and you disobey it because of fear or whatever, you are standing in the way of receiving the blessings due for obeying.

Many time we are more concerned about what others will say, how we may be perceived by people that we do not deliver messages God gave us to deliver. Even though we’ve been told not to look at the faces. Yoruba say “eni ran ni ni se la un beru”. Jeremiah 1:7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the LordYet, what do we do? We withhold information that will benefit others, some info that will protect another from harm’s way, yet more that will save lost souls from eternal damnation. We dilute our messages to tickle ears, to be politically correct. This is absolute disobedience, which has ended up standing in the way of our impacting the world!

Ezekiel 2: And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or their words. Do not be afraid, though briers and thorns are all around you and you live among scorpions. Do not be afraid of what they say or be terrified by them, though they are a rebellious people. You must speak my words to them, whether they listen or fail to listen, for they are rebellious. But you, son of man, listen to what I say to you. Do not rebel like that rebellious people; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” What more do I to know? What further instruction do I have to receive in order to do the Masters bidding?

Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings! Stop standing in your own way! Obey the Lord with speed. Trust Him to back up His Word! I mean you have seen God in action the few times you obey His instructions. Haven’t you? What will it take you to go all the way obeying God’s every instruction? Stop cherry picking, weighing it by what affects you personnally, will generate controversy and so on. Just obey the Lord and you will see the heavens open over you. The Lord is waiting on you and time wait for no one. Summon up courage and do the Lord’s bidding.

Be born again friends. You need a Savior, His name is Jesus Christ, He is waiting for you to call upon Him! Don’t keep Christ waiting!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Faith, Trust, And Assurance!

Do you have faith in God friends?

seek the LordHow great is your faith in the promises of God for your life as contained in the scripture? Joel 2: 26, for example, says “And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.” How deep do you believe this promise?

Manoah in the book of Judges had a wife who was not able to give birth as stated in Chapter 13. One day, out of the blues His wife came and told him about a visitation from a man giving them a promise of a son. The man came to Manoah’s wife but not him, yet when Manoah went to the Lord in prayer, it was not about God confirming His word by the mouth of two or three. He was not requesting for the man to come back and talk to him or both of them again to be sure He was from the Lord.

Manoah believed the Lord by the testimony of his wife. When he went to the Lord in prayer, it was about how the promised child should be raised. In reverence unto the Lord, Manoah prayed in Judges 13:8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lord: “Pardon your servant, Lord. I beg you to let the man of God you sent to us come again to teach us how to bring up the boy who is to be born.”

trustin in God

What are you doing with the promise you received? Are you waiting for confirmation and affirmation? Are you looking for signs, thunder, and clouds? Something to prove that God is committed to fulfilling the promises?

Friends take a step of faith! Prepare for the harvest, be ready, take action, do what you have to do now!!! Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord AlmightyThe Lord has spoken once, twice you should hear, power belongs unto the Lord – Psalms 62:11. The power that raised Christ from the dead is available to quicken you to accomplish all that the Lord has purposed for you.

a08086a2-45ed-408c-be24-ea4789e4dfa2.png

Judges 13:12 Manoah asked the Man, “When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule that governs the boy’s life and work?” He had no doubt, there wasn’t an “if”, it was “when”! Manoah was certain that the promise would come to pass!

Why then do you doubt the word of God Oh ye friends of little faith? Why do I doubt the word of God? The promise in Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  The Lord promised to give you everything that you need if only you will seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Will you yield your heart today unto the Lord? Will you yield your boat for the Lord? Will you commit and recommit to doing that which pleases the Lord? You have to stop that myopic way of thinking friends. The Lord is mighty, powerful, He is the all knowing all seeing, only wise God! He knows what you need today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life even before you know it or ask Him for it and He, God Almighty already made provision for all your needs. You only need to accept His love, forsake your evil ways, put all your trust in Him, leaning closely on the Lord, and do His will and every other thing shall be added unto you.

What He called you into, is already settled! Trust in Him and walk into your inheritance. God’s promises are yea and amen!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

No Other Way@

There is no other way to be saved except through Christ. No other way to the Father but by the son Jesus Christ. He is inviting you to come and taste for He is good.

Accept the love of God freely given to you today! Jesus loves you! He loves you with an everlasting love!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Faulty Structure Reined In! Holy Spirit!

I was praying yesterday and I blurted out some words that made me start thinking about what I was actually saying! You know like, “where did that come from?”.

It was a personal prayer about this and that. Just having fellowship with my Father and then I was led to touch on some other stuff, which led to this prayer:

Father every structure that has been put in place by the devil in and around the hearts of men and women, around and in the body of believers that is mitigating against your plan and purpose to bring in much more people into the sheepfold, let such structure be destroyed today in Jesus mighty name. You stated in Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Whatever is not of you in and around me, and all must come down Lord!

Like the wall of Jericho fell down flat – Joshua 6:20, Hebrew 11:30, Oh Lord, every invincible barrier mounted to keep as many as you have called to possess the gift of Salvation, may those walls fall down flat in Jesus name. Every wall, every barrier standing between your breakthrough in all areas of your life must come down in Jesus mighty name.

Every plant that you have not planted in and around your body, the body of believers, Father Lord, let it be uprooted in Jesus name.

Then I thought about what I was saying and realized that, while men slept, the enemy came in and sowed tares Matthew 13:24-30. Tares of disharmony, hatred, greed, pride, anger, jealousy, envy, distrust, suspicion, confusion, and all sort of evil, so much so that in order to “protect ourselves” we think, that is, maintain the status quo, we build walls to take charge, to be in control, thereby relegating the Holy Spirit to the back bench of our life.  We go ahead many times, ignore and sideline the Will of the Father many a time.

Every tare, every error, lies – deception of the enemy, sown into my life,  family,  local assembly, denomination and the entire Church of the living God, be uprooted in Jesus name. Holy Spirit have your way, take the rein of my life, our life, family, Church, move like never before in Jesus name. Let thy kingdom come Oh Lord!

Yielded life

There are so many tares in your life and mine if we want to be honest about it. There is stuff that we would rather do without that is holding on, weighing down, hindering, limiting our highest self in living and breathing Christ. Many are destined to be an evangelist, pastors, missionary, God’s battle ax,  but are unable to reach even their own family for Christ this moment. Why so? Why? While we were unaware, thinking we had everything under control, reined in, the enemy planted trees, shrubs, and the likes to distract us and ruin our testimony.

Will you go to the Lord in prayer today and ask Jesus to step in and touch every area of your life? Ask for forgiveness! Forgiveness of thinking you can hold the rein and be led by the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus forgive me and my friends for every form of unrighteousness in our thoughts, words, and actions, in what we have done and those we have failed to do.  Please, Lord, we welcome you into our hearts, our lives, have your way in us. Take the rein Father, and lead us to do that which is of your great pleasure we pray in Jesus mighty name. Thank you, Lord, for answers for we know you have heard our sincere cry for help. Be magnified Oh Lord.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Serve The Lord Because He Is God!

Joshua 24:14Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshipped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. 15 But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

96084cfd-54f6-4689-aa9b-b540489a974b16 Then the people answered, “Far be it from us to forsake the Lord to serve other gods! 17 It was the Lord our God himself who brought us and our parents up out of Egypt, from that land of slavery, and performed those great signs before our eyes. He protected us on our entire journey and among all the nations through which we travelled. 18 And the Lord drove out before us all the nations, including the Amorites, who lived in the land. We too will serve the Lord, because he is our God.”

Friends, can you relate to the above response to Joshua’s statement by the people of Israel? Do you understand the context? Can you really relate this to your own life? I can!!! Oh Lord my God! Far be it for me to forsake the Lord my God to serve other gods! Lord, were you not the force that brought me out of my mother’s womb? It was you Most High God that kept me all this while. You kept me through thick and thin!

You blessed me with a heart after you from youth, you kept me through the various disappointments in life, my heart did not get damaged afterall, you kept me tender! You kept me through lack and insufficiency, sickness and pain! Oh! How you delivered me from the worry of spinsterhood and loneliness, fear of barrenness and unfruitfulness!

Lord, you helped me to taste love, feel love and hold love albeit short-lived yet rewarding! Your kind of love overwhelms me, Lord!! Through the stormy seas, the raging tempest, the dark nights of living, you remain sturdy, a force within bearing me up! How can I forget Lord? Your tender mercies, loving kindness and steadfastness towards me, I could not understand, but that is who you are Lord.

How can I forget? Your hands holding, bearing and guiding me when I couldn’t stand, hold on or find my way. Oh Lord God of Israel, thank you. I will serve the Lord always for He is faithful! The Lord our God is Mighty. It is the Lord that goes before us to fight for us against all our enemies. It is the Lord that has not allowed it to be for us according to the desires of our enemies. He is my stronghold, my fortress and redeemer.

How about you friends? Have you looked back lately? To see how far you have come? Are you grateful for where you are this moment? It could be worst you know? Can you see the Lord even in that situation? Transition – joblessness, sickness, fruitlessness, loneliness, immigration issues, relationship issues, marital palaver, and all.

These issues are all transient, for the Lord is making ways where there was no way-Romans 8:18 I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Remember He made a way through the red sea, brought the wall of Jericho down, raised the dead, healed the sick, settled the lonely in a family like Ruth, fed thousands with little, lifts up the downcast, helps the barren to carry, restored hope to the hopeless. What did Christ not do? What can He not do? Nothing!!! For with God nothing shall be impossible – Luke 1:37 KJV

What more can I say about this God my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ? He is dependable and trustworthy, abounding in grace towards all who comes to Him. He said and is saying today in Matthew 11:28    “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Friends, will you accept Christ Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior today? For we all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God – Romans 3:23. Confess and forsake your evil ways, believe in your heart that He truly came to die for your sins and mine and rose up on the third day. He did!!!!! Declare Jesus as Lord over your life and begin to plead His blood over you.

The devil will flee for we overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and the words of our testimony -Revelation 12:11

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Purge Evil From Within!

As a sore thumb brings discomfort to the whole body, so is one man’s rebellion, it invites the Lord’s wrath on a nation! Purge evil from amongst you. Read Joshua 22.
The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all must be saved! Repent of your ways today. 2 Peter 3:9

Come unto the Lord all ye that labor and are heavy laden and Jesus will give you rest, take of the Lord’s yoke for it is easy and you will find rest for your souls- Matthew 11:28-29

Take My Life And Let It Be!

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the ultimate sacrifice you rendered on my behalf. You forgave all my sin, removed them so far from me. Thank you for a new lease of life. Everything I am and will be is yours, Lord. I give myself to you Lord, today and forever!

Friends, ain’t you glad Jesus Christ came? Where would you be without His love finding you and taking hold of you when He did? Why not thank Him and rededicate your life to Jesus today?

Maybe you don’t know Christ yet and would love to this moment. Great! Ask Jesus to forgive you your sins, ask Him to come into your heart, welcoming Him as your Lord and Savior. Ask Jesus to help you not to go back to those sins, believe in your heart that Jesus heard you and as you have asked Him, He will indeed help you.

Rejoice and be glad! You are welcome in the beloved for no one that comes unto the Lord will He cast away – John 6:35 Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.36………37 All those the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

  • That project will succeed
  • You will sing very soon now that the battle is over. You are more than a conqueror

the lamb of GodThe Story Behind The Lamb of God.

Numbers 21:5-9 They spoke against God and against Moses, and said, “Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? There is no bread! There is no water! And we detest this miserable food!” Then the Lord sent venomous snakes among them; they bit the people and many Israelites died. The people came to Moses and said, “We sinned when we spoke against the Lord and against you. Pray that the Lord will take the snakes away from us.” So Moses prayed for the people. The Lord said to Moses, “Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live.” So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, they lived.

John 3:14 Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.

All problem is associated with sin. There is a link between sin and fruitless effort, bondage and all sort of ills. Yet the Lamb of God made provision for us by His blood. Mark 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Read John 5:2-14, Luke 5:2-14

Psalms 37:35-38 I have seen a wicked and ruthless man flourishing like a luxuriant native tree, 36 but he soon passed away and was no more; though I looked for him, he could not be found. 37 Consider the blameless, observe the upright; a future awaits those who seek peace. 38 But all sinners will be destroyed; there will be no future for the wicked.

Jeremiah 17:11 Like a partridge that hatches eggs it did not lay are those who gain riches by unjust means. When their lives are half gone, their riches will desert them, and in the end, they will prove to be fools.

We have been exempted from sin and its consequence by the blood of the Lamb. Only if we confess and forsake all sin that easily befalls us. We must forsake sin and everything that is contrary to the will of God as contained in the holy scriptures. Accepting Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior making us joint-heirs with Him bestowing righteousness upon us. Psalms 37:39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lordhe is their stronghold in time of trouble. 40 The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them because they take refuge in him.

Welcome to the Kingdom of God.
