Look Unto The Lord For Strength! You Will Have Peace!

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. 4 Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
I have come to realize that each time I am fretful, anxious and stressed, it is as a result of my taking my eyes off the cross, trying to figure things out on my own.

Lord help me to trust you more, lean on you wholly with all my heart! I want your peace more and more, the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help me to receive that which can only come from you! Thank you Lord!

Restrained Hands! The Lord’s Mercy!

Nabal’s response of disgust towards David was deserving of commensurate action by David. Read 1 Samuel 25

However, David’s intention was more severe, though justified from many angle except the divine. Thank God for the quick intervention of Abigail, who the Lord used to restrain the hand of David from shedding innocent blood.

The Lord used Abigail, a human for David, I wonder who, or what the Lord uses presently to restrain His children from sinning? Abigail was like a conscience for David, a mirror reflecting his intention, a voice of reasoning. May the Lord place such along our path.

David could have resisted, ignoring the voice of reasoning, kill Abigail, and proceed to wipe out Nabal and all that is his,  however, he didn’t! And Abigail? She took her life in her hands just like Esther in Esther 4:16.

The Holy Spirit, the word of God and our moral compass tells us when we are doing something wrong. The question then is, are we listening?

The Lord has, and is sending whatever that needs to be sent, to restrain you and yours from damnation. Will you heed the call today? The call to yield your heart, and life unto the Lord.

It is by the mercies of God that you and I are not consumed – Lamentation 3:22-23. It is the hand of the Lord that has kept you and I from grievous sin.

It is God’s hand restraining the wicked one from making a shish kebab of us!

Yield your heart today! Tomorrow may be too late!

Chosen For A Purpose! You Also!

In 1 Chronicles 19:1-20, we see the result of misconceptions – thinking the worst of people and thier intentions, lack of good judgement, ill gotten advice, lack of wisdom and an evil heart.

A delegate was sent by King David, with condolences to Hanun, King of the Ammonites who has just ascended the throne after his Father’s death.

Understandably, Hanun was in mourning, the whole city was hurting, and here comes a delegate, with spices, ointment, fruits and all sort from a formidable alliance.

I would have been glad to see them. Welcome them with open arms, threat them nice and respectfully, and send them back to my late Father’s friend with some figs, spices, freshly baked bread, water in their jar, oil and whatever people gift each other those days.

There was no reason, and there is no readon at all, to be mean to anyone extending an arm of fellowship. There is no reason to humiliate and ridicule someone bearing good tidings, a helping hand. Absolutely no justfication to be wicked to any showing kindness to you!!

How could the Ammonite think hiring chariots and fighters for an unjustifiable war will bring them victory? That is the question we all should ask ourselves as Christian whenever we have issues with one another.

Your anger, hatred, envy, unkindness, opposition, oppression, disrespect, insubordination and all kinds of ill feeling we have towards one another, is it really justified?

We have gone to war with those we should be friends with because of the wickedness of our hearts. We have stepped out of bounds of acceptable behaviour for a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation.

You and I often hire Balaam to curse those whom the Lord has blessed! Yes, we did not know the Lord is with His chosen people. They have just left slavery, multitudes not in royal apparel, yet clothed in the radiant glory of the Most High God.

People weary and burdened with issues, seeking a place of rest, hoping in the kindness, grace and unconditional love of the Father have walked into the Sanctuary, and we raised a war cry against them. We don’t want this sort of people in our midst! Thier presence seems threatening! We cook up allegations, magnify thier slightest mistakes – by our faulty perception. Why so! Why so friends?

The Lord will fight for His people, God always rought the chariots of the wicked. He fought for David against the Ammonites, Goliath, and all his enemies. God will fight for His inheritance.

Jehovah will fight for every soul Christ died for on Calvary’s Tree that we present day “Christians” have hired Arameans against. Those we have used the prevailing issues of thier lives to taunt and reproached. The lost and weary that came to the cross genuinely that we crushed, discouraged and shunted thier growth! The ones we drove out, not because they are selling and buying in the Sanctuary, but because thier little light is revealing our own darkness! Oh yes!! The Lord sees!

Friends, let us all examine ourselves if we are still in the faith. Is yoùr heart aligned with the Word – the bread we eat daily. We profess Christ Jesus with our lips, what about our hearts? Hearts!!!!

Oh Lord God of heaven thank you for your love and faithfulness. Thank you for your Word that is able to reveal the hidden things of our hearts.

Oh Lord God Most Holy, Most High, be merciful unto us your Children. Forgive us Jesus and help us to love you through others. Purge our hearts of every evil, expose our errors and help us to correct our wrong. Holy Spirit have your way in our heart, rekindle a right spirit within us. Set our soul on fire for the work of our savior! Help us Father as we pray in Christ Jesus mighty name. Amen

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Many Are Hungry! Can I Help?

Brethren, the harvest is plenty and there are not enough laborers. It is not enough that we go to Church, neighbors know us as Christians, we should disciple all. Many people are thirsty and hungry for the Lord, and if we do not speak and act with conviction like that servant girl in Captivity in Syria, the many Naamans out there would never know that there is a God in Israel.

You and I friends, we need to fix our own altar. Oh, how we need to be aligned to the frequency of heaven in order to function as we ought to on earth. Lack of genuine love in our hearts makes us to operate beneath our potential. Love will not want another to perish, be put to shame, reproached or suffer want. Love is kind, it will not ridicule, or hurt deliberately!

Lord help us to really be transformed by the renewal of our hearts that we may be useful and fit for your use this very season I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom

God showed Peter a sheet filled with all kinds of animals. Peter refused to eat unclean animals and Christ said, ” call not unclean what the Lord has cleansed.
Friends many are hungry for the gospel, the harvest is ripe, are we ready to bring in the harvest?

Featured Image -- 5311My neighbors are seniors in their sixties. We chat every now and then. A while back when the  brother was diagnosed with cancer she came to me and we prayed. I did not follow up since then only to just happen to be at a picnic with other neighbors and I heard her giving the testimony of that prayer in the hallway. I prayed with her that day but was I expectant? If I were, I guess I would have followed up and the likes eh!

For the last three years that I’ve had this couple as my neighbor, I have not…

You’ve Got It In You!

The ways God speaks does not seize to amaze me. Just within this month, I was swamped with tonnes of task to do. I was exhausted, but kept at it. At a point my teenage daughter kept saying “mum that’s ok, take a rest”. She said this continuously at intervals, and my reply each time was, ” I will, just a little bit more”.

Then she spoke and it caught my attention! It wasn’t that I wasn’t listening or paying attention to her, but what she said was beyond her years and I knew it, that this was God speaking, just letting me know, I’ve got “IT” in me!
My daughter said ” mum you are strong, no wonder you are in this situation. God knows you can handle anything!!!”. Of course, I stopped right there because, the Holy Spirit gave it a deeper meaning, He gave me a deeper understanding of what the Lord knows about us that we could never know until it unfolds layer upon layers as The Lord wills it.
Remember 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
Whatever is going on in your life, family, business, ministry, and so on, know that the Lord will not permit it to go beyond what you can take. He always makes a way of escape.
The “cross” you are carrying will not crush you my friend. The Lord knows your capacity before He permitted it to come your way!
The virtue you birth therefore must be employed to encourage and strengthen others along the way of thier own conception. Don’t waste your pain!!!!
Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

True Seekers Yearning For God!

The Lord is waiting for you and I to get our acts together, to position ourselves strategically to receive fresh grace for this season. Now is the time to realign ourselves with the undiluted Word of God in Spirit and in Truth. Enough is enough of distractions and schemes of wickedness rampaging our community. We must pray for unity, love one another, pray for one another, and be people of integrity.

We must resist divisiveness in our midst, the doctrine of Satan and his agent. We must stand firm and resist every act of wickedness perpetrated and purge evil from within us, obeying the Word of God, the Voice of Love, Truth, Wisdom and Grace.

Shalom! Shalom!

Naaman, a Syrian General came to Israel. He was leprous and received a miracle that transformed, not only his flesh but his heart. He realized that the God of Israel is the only true God and makes up his mind to serve him alone. The problem Naaman has is that his boss, the King of Syria worship counterfeit gods and been the King’s right hand, he goes to the temple with the King, Lord when the King bows down to his god holding my hand and I seem to bow down, please note that it is not intentional and forgive me, Naaman prayed. Read 2 Kings 5:1 to end for clarity.

2 Kings 5: 17 So Naaman said, “Then, if not, please let your servant be given two mule-loads of earth; for your servant will no longer offer either burnt offering or sacrifice to other gods, but to the

God’s Expectation of You & I!

“When tempest rage within and without, will you still be able to sing the Lord is good my friends? Or is your praise dependent on the admiration of man, your celebrity status, prime time audience and much more!”

It is easier to sing when your belly is filled up, your barn is full of lifestock a crown on your head, the best car in your driveway, designer wears, exotic fragrances, everything your heart desires and much more!! Why will you not praise God one may ask?

Friends, when you meet a man or woman, those that praise with and without the necessity of life, then you know, they have really had encounters!!

Bearing your cross means a lot friends!! What does that mean to you? Is it only when the fig tree blooms?

EMUNAH-quote2

Is your faithfulness to God dependent on your being on the mountain top? Is it dependent on your comfort, status, situation, or circumstances. Can you still sing and dance to the Lord in the wilderness, in pain, disappointment, having been betrayed by friends and family? Israel said how can we sing the Lord’s song in a strange land. Psalms 137:4 How shall we singtheLord’s song In a foreign land?

When tempest rage within and without, will you still be able to sing the Lord is good my friends? Or is your praise dependent on the admiration of man, your celebrity status, prime time audience and much more!

Lord God Almighty, may our heart and mouth praise you in the valley as on the mountain top. May there always be a new song on our lips and a dance on our waist to you our Saviour and King…

The Sovereign God Be Praise!

Psalms 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. 2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. 3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. 4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. 5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. 6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. 16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. 17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

Be magnified Oh Lord my God! Praise the Lord friends for His faithfulness and mercy, for His love endures forever. He has not forsaken and will not forsake His beloveth!!

The Blood Still Works!

The blood of Jesus Christ is powerful to save from the strongest foe, gentle to heal a broken heart, flush out demonic deposit in arteries and every organ in your body, pump life into your heart and restore fire in your bones. The blood of my Savior Jesus Christ is a miracle working blood.

Radiant Glory Of Love

Hebrew 9: 11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

The blood works! The blood of Jesus Christ works wonders…
