Futile Confidence In Egypt

“What sorrow awaits my rebellious children,” says the Lord .

“You make plans that are contrary to mine.

You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins.

For without consulting me, you have gone down to Egypt for help.

You have put your trust in Pharaoh’s protection. You have tried to hide in his shade. But by trusting Pharaoh, you will be humiliated, and by depending on him, you will be disgraced.

For though his power extends to Zoan and his officials have arrived in Hanes, all who trust in him will be ashamed. He will not help you. Instead, he will disgrace you.”
Isaiah 30:1‭-‬5

This is what the Sovereign Lord , the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it.

A Light! You Are!

You may never know how bright you shine. I mean how bright the light of God’s countenance shine through you.

You may be in a wilderness, or just coming out like the Lord Jesus. You may well be the light that shines in darkness and darkness cannot comprehend it.

Can you see now that you carry God’s very presence. Darkness cannot comprehend it, overshadow it, or extinguish it.

Your light shines in that very place, Yea that very place revealing entrenched darkness.

You my friend are meant to reveal the heart of the Father in that very place.

For it is written of you!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Seasons Of Life!

Life is in seasons friends!
Whatever season you are presently in, remember the Lord your God and worship Him.

He who was there in the season of scarcity, sorrow, and hurt, is in the midst of your plenty, joy, and healing.

He was in the midst of war, shielding and protecting, and still is there in the midst of peace, stroking the back of your neck.

This God is the Most High God, the Ancient of Days that rules in the affairs of men. He is all knowing, all seeing, He is ever faithful, only constant, always on time.

He knows what He is doing. Trust Him!

Marriage: Mark of Usefulness!

Marriage is the first institution ordained by God. This is a fact, however, since the beginning of time, right from the garden, it has been tumultuous.

There has always been issues in the union of marriage and there will always be! We pray for understanding, commitment, determination to make it work, and all, but if it does not work, that does not strip you of the glory of God or your salvation!

I am so happy that the greatest influencer of our faith – Jesus Christ himself, and Paul the Apostle were never married! Yet, they laid down for us the will of God. Neither was Martin Luther until much later!

I am sure glad the woman by the well married 5 husbands and some, yet she met with Christ Jesus one on one! And Anna? She died after witnessing the dedication of our Lord Jesus in the temple. She was childless after living as a widow in the temple all her life!

To all then, who have built doctrines, ministry roundabout marriage and motherhood, equating Salvation with marriage, or should I say to marital bliss, even if it’s make believe, stand back from your high horse.

Jesus came to save our soul! You can be married, live in hell here on earth and end up in eternal darkness, vice versa!

Anyone know Peninnah? It sure would be great to live in eternal bliss from here to there though, don’t get me wrong! This is the ideal! Every soul craves for such! Heavenly right?

It is time to put aside all these divisive doctrine, meant to classify, discourage, and limit people, sowing discord where there should be harmony!

I dare you in all honesty to examine your heart! Are you convinced in there that being married is the ultimate mark of purity, salvation, holiness, usefulness in the kingdom of God? And in the hand of the creator of heaven and earth?

I have so much to say!

This Journey! Life

On a journey, any journey, you are bound to meet different people, all kinds, on the stops, along the way, in the same vehicle, or just passing each other bye.

Please my friend, learn to regard humanity in all. Be respectful, polite, and treat everyone as if they are dignatories, for they truly are!

Some, unaware have met with angels and have ill-treated them for they were not clothed in purple. Moses in Median, a prince of Egypt, but a wanderer in Median.

While some, weary and lost, have met others along the path and have been able to direct them through the path they have just come fought from, while seeking for the path home themself. This is being selfless! Giving from what you have, when you lack what you do need!

Just thinking, that hiccup may as well be as a result of how badly you treated that person you thought was a nonentity. What is he gonna do anyways? I will get away with it! Note that someone is watching, and will repay, with what you least expect! Do good!

The people of Sodom brought wrath upon their city when they demanded to do the unthinkable with angels, they saw as mere men. May we not bring wrath upon ourselves, generations unborn!

Father, henceforth, please help us to treat everyone the way you treat us, with compassion, love, kindness, and tender care we pray in Jesus name. Amen
