Verse of the Day

Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?

Matthew 16:24 MSG

They overcame, defeated, conquered him (Satan) by the blood of the Lamb, and the bold, words of their testimony, witness; …. Revelation 12:11

The blood of the Lamb is the blood of Jesus Christ shed on Calvary’s tree for the sin of the world.

What then is the words of our testimony? The bold words of our witness?

A testimony refers to a formal written spoken statement, especially one given in a court of law. Testimony is the evidence or proof provided for the existence or appearance of something, a public recounting of a religious conversion or experience. Synonyms: evidence, sworn statement, attestation, affidavit. —Culled from Google

The blood of the Lamb and the bold words of our testimony overcomes the devil!

Your testimony and mine is our bold witness in words and action of what has taken place in our hearts.

David’s testimony empowered him. He overcame fear, and opposition; he glorified God! 1 Samuel 17

What then is your God story? What is your testimony? What is your bold witness?

I have heard enough of your life story, your successes and failures, your achievement, and accomplishment.

I want to hear your testimony! The bold word of what God has done in you, through you, and for you! Your testimony is that which Christ is written all over with the blood of the Lamb! David a teenager chasing after a lion and bear? 1 Samuel 17:34-36

What is your God story? I

I am amazed by the grace and mercies of God. You know what friends? Christ Jesus is right there whenever we invite Him. He sees our hearts and motives. Knows what we need before we ask.

This past weekend, I had to make a trip, unavoidably so, and I was not in the frame of mind for such. I was tired, my body needed a work out if you know what I mean. My joints and bolt needed tightening, in short I wasn’t feeling fit in anyway physically and mentally. I knew I needed a miracle. Most time for lesser hours I bank on caffeine, but for this trip I knew I needed more than caffeine, a higher power definitely!

There was no way I could get to my destination by flight on time, too many stopovers with long hours. It was an impossibility!

So I got things together and decided to drive. I held hands with my companions and asked the Lord to strengthen me by His spirit in my inner man and tears were rolling down my eyes. I felt so very weak and reached out for Christ’ strenght and He obliged me.

He obliged me so much that I was in awe. I drove for 18 hours one way and came back filled with energy I could run a marathon with. There’s nothing my God cannot do!

One lesson I learnt from this experience is that I am the one that have not been believing as I ought to for all my needs according to His capability! Yes, HIS CAPABILITY! Not my ability, but His! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me came alive in me this past four days!

However, when my back was to the wall and I needed to move, it was very clear to me that only His strength can overcome my weakness.

Lord Jesus, thank you so very much. I am so grateful. Praise to your Holy name Oh Lord!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
