The scriptures cannot be broken. Divorce is not the original will of the Father for His children. The Lord desires for us to have unity of purpose, for only then can we really worship in spirit and in truth.

However, due to human errors and persistency of purpose, our forefathers were able to get permission from God’s general to divorce. Since then men have exercised this “right” to divorce women at will.

Many a time infidelity on the path of the woman is non existent and the man divorces still because “variety is the spice of life”.

If you find yourself here, the unspeakable, what you dread has happened, don’t sweat it, our God is a merciful God. I know it is easier said than done, it is a process, and I know you can get there. Ask God to forgive you, because either you accept it or not, one way or another you had a part in the dissolution. Own up to your mistakes and God who sees the depth of your soul will help you to overcome this pain.

The ideal is to ask for restoration. There is nothing impossible for those who believe. God can and will restore broken vows.

You will survive, you will move forward, you will yet thrive in the courts of the Lord. Remember divorce is not a death sentence! Live henceforth to please The Father of mercy. He will sustain you!

As many times as you fall get back up and ask for mercy. Mercy never run dry from the throne, it flows ceaselessly for all situation, all sins, all disobedient, and rebellious hearts that have repented of evil.

On the flip side is to be in a union and yearn for that which is out there. More to come on this!
