Jonah! Joan! ….! And You!

Just before this decade walks away from us all, and especially for anyone with a call on his or her life running away from God like Jonah did – Jonah 1:1-3

I want you to reflect and ask for forgiveness from everyone and anyone that your disobedience has cost fortunes.

You see, your disobedience, running away from God was what made that man, woman in your life to operate contrary to expected.

The merchants had to throw their wares overboard. The essence of their journey to Tarshish, their livelihood, wealth, and treasure – Jonah 1:5

You my friend, left a trail of loss, waste, fear, destruction in your path running away from God.

You had the whole picture, you knew what you have done, you knew the cause, you knew you were running from the Lord, and even in the stormy seas you were calm enough to fall into a deep sleep while others ran frantically here and there, afraid, and in panic acted contrarily.

Can anyone really run from God? Why would you think you could? Why put all these people that crossed your path in jeopardy?

You need to ask the Lord to restore that which they lost as a result of your own disobedience.

Oh, you thought you lost relationships? Marriages? Homes? Wealth? Career? Honor? …….?

How about the innocent people on that boat with you? They lost much more!

And the fish?

See! God used everything, and everyone to get you back on track. Instead of being hurt, pained, disappointed with them, be grateful! I say it again, BE GRATEFUL!

Almighty God, Ancient of days, Immortal, Invisible, the All Knowing, Only Wise God. You were there before time and will be when time stops for humanity. Father I thank you for your goodness, working ALL out for the good of your anointed.

Daddy, I ask in Jesus name, that you will restore all that anyone and everyone has lost on my account. Rebuild broken walls, altars, ruins, and fortune.

Thank you Father for I know you have heard.

Let your power manifest mightily in and through US all for the glory of your name alone in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen

So shall it be!

Shalom!

  1. This is so on point! Thank you for sharing. I love how He points out to the sin (being a runner in situations instead of being obedient) yet chooses to call himself the God of Jacob!
