October 2020 – Radiant Glory Of Love

Listening To Hear Him!

I have been speaking to God for the longest time, and He has been listening to me. How cool is that you might say! Every word and thoughts He hears – Psalms 94:11 The Lord knows the thoughts of Man.

I sense now that God wants to speak to me. I guess it is God’s turn to speak . I should give Him a chance to speak. Stop being a chatter box I told myself! Okay Lord, I am listening I said, and God told me to delve into His Word! His Word is Jesus! The Jesus of The Bible!

In these last days, God speaks to us through His Son Jesus Christ. In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son. Hebrews 1:1–2

Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being – Hebrews 1:3. Jesus is The Word through which God speaks to you, to me, and to everyone else.

I have therefore resolved to study The Word. I am bound to hear His voice therein. Either in one verse, one chapter, or a whole book. God is bound to speak as He has bid me to listen. And I am bound to hear as I am eager to hear Him speak.

Father Lord, let me not hear strange voices. Let my ears be open only to your Word. Give me understanding that I might take hold of your Word. And please Father, let your Word profit me in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Nigeria! Beauty For Ashes!

When I woke up with songs of praise in my heart Thursday morning, I was confused as to why!

Why praise from a weary soul I thought to myself? I went through my day but kept thinking about everything going on in Nigeria, my family, and my own life as an individual.

Why praise Lord? I don’t feel like it and the situation of things don’t warrant it humanly speaking, yet God ordered it, and sang it by His Holy Spirit within!

When praise songs wakes me up this way, I know it’s God and nothing to do with me so I praised Him!

Friends, It’s time to praise God like never before even in the midst of this chaos! Remember God inhabit the praises of His people – Psalms 22:3.

I don’t understand, and it does not make sense to me, however, as He ordered it, I am bound to oblige! Have your way Lord Jesus! Just few faithful person was what God looked for in Sodom and Gomorrah – Genesis 18:16-33!

Let us change tactics and praise God for Nigeria! Let’s offer praise that Nigeria has not totally imploded!

O ba ni o, ko ti baje tan! God is able to salvage and rebuild a better Nigeria!

Nigeria Weeps!

My country of birth weeps. Nigeria weeps for her youth, the beckon of hope for a Nigeria with good, fair, and just governance gunned down!

The leadership, through Nigerian Army cut down the shinning 🌟 of tomorrow!

Friends, help me to rally for help to salvage what is left of sanity in Nigeria! Pray! Pray! Pray!

Let call on God to intervene on behalf of the Nigerian youth. Help me to petition heaven for an end to the shedding of unarmed youth protesting for better governance.

You! Divinely/Fully Packaged!

There are some truth in the scriptures that you need to imbibe or you will never grow in your Christian walk. These truth has to be second nature to you for it to stand against any onslaught of the wicked one in any form.

You should know by now that there are forces, principalities and powers that would prefer you to be ignorant of who you are, Who’s you are, and what you are capable of becoming! Your ignorance of your status is gain to the wicked.

Thank God no one has the monopoly of knowledge. All the information you and I need to walk tall and talk loud is right there in the Bible.

You, my friend reading this, you are a Masterpiece! The Bible says so! Believe it! Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

I need to let you in on this open secret, hush, my secret as it is contained in 2 Peter 1:3-9. It does not matter what the naysayers are saying, this right here is my truth, I believe it, I own it! You can make it yours too!

³Christ’s divine power has given Me everything I need for a godly life through MY knowledge of him who called ME by his own glory and goodness. ⁴Through these he – Christ Jesus, has given ME his very great and precious promises, so that through them I may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

⁵For this very reason, I make every effort to add to MY faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; ⁶and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; ⁷and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love. 2 Peter 1:5-7

Discerning The Voice of God

How do you discern who’s voice you are listening to? Any voice that speaks contrary to The Word of God is literarily not of God.

God spoke to Moses in the book of Exodus chapter 20 – (read for clarity), where He gave the Israelites commandments, laws, and principles to live by. In the New Testament, when Jesus was asked the greatest of these commandments by the Pharisees of His days, Jesus responded thus:

Matthew 22: 34 Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. ³⁵One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question: ³⁶“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

³⁷Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ ³⁸This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ ⁴⁰All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments

When you then hear any voice that leads you to hate God or other humans, you should know that, that voice is not of God. Any voice that instruct you to illtreat others, oppress them, oppose, malign or dissociate from anyone under any guise is not of God. Matthew 22:39 says to love others as yourself.

How do you discern whose voice you are listening to? Whose voice are you following? God’s voice or Satan’s?

The voice that encourages acts that produces evidence of the fruits of the spirit as stated in Galatians 5:22 is the voice of God.

Galatians 5:22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, ²³gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Any voice that encourages division, lies – for the devil is the father of lies – John 8:44; – oppression, abandonment, denial of justice, truth, dignity, equality of all men is definitely not of God. Any voice that speaks fear into your heart, unsettles your peace, and encourages wickedness is of Satan

A 16th-century priest named Dom Lorenzo Scupoli wrote, “The devil does his utmost to banish peace from one’s heart, because he knows that God abides in peace and it is in peace that He accomplishes great things.”

1 John 4:1 Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

John 8: ⁴⁷Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

And God says, Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ ³⁸This is the first and greatest commandment. ³⁹And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:37 &38

The voices that tells you not to speak with another, encourages hate and division, causes disharmony amongst people, abandon cordiality and civility, feed your ego by taking you on ego trips, makes you think you are equal to God and places you as God in the lives of others is of the devil.

The voice of Satan will never take you to the path of humility, gentleness, kindness, empathy, self control and peace.

Father, we ask for the spirit of discernment so that we may know when you are speaking to us, and grant us grace so we may promptly obey your every word.

Lord, by your Holy spirit help us to know when Satan is speaking to us, grant us grace to resist him so he can flee from us – James 4:7: we ask in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Vulnerable? Grace Will Speak!

You must learn to keep your weakness between you and your Savior.

No matter how weak your flesh is, may the Lord strengthen you with might by His Holy Spirit in your inner man – Ephesians 3:16.

Your Spirit man need to be alert at all times, atuned to heavens frequency, or else you will become a shish kebab in the hand of the enemies of your soul! May the Lord shield His anointed. Amen

Lean on your Savior. Receive strength today in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Your bosom friend may have been waiting for that very day of your vulnerability to strike you down dead!

You must never forget the story of Samson and Delilah – Judges 16

Father Lord, every slimy snake lurking around, waiting and watching for us to slip so as to strike, may they wait endlessly.

Father let us never break the edge and give room for the serpent to strike in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

A Ripple! Impacting Our World.

I am just wondering how my Christian walk would have been! A ripple?

I mean how would Christian walk be if emphasis were laid just a little bit more on Philippians 2 in every gathering more than Malachi 3:10 especially?

🤔🤔🤔 What a life of impact every Christian would have in our sphere of influence! We would have a ripple effect everywhere! We would turn the world upside down like the apostles of old.

Philippians 2:1 If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion,2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others. 5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:

Father Lord help me to get my acts together. I mean, help us all Lord, we need your help. Have mercy oh Lord and forgive us. Give us understanding that we might be discerning like the children of Issachar.

1 Chronicles 12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.

Thank you Lord for your help. We receive with thanksgiving in Jesus name. Amen

Your Hands Are Not Empty! Believe Not The Lie!

Many a time, the enemy of our soul will come subtly through people, events, situations, and circumstances around us to direct our attention to that thing that seems not to be going on well in our lives.

We need to develop our minds by studying the Word of God, believing, and living by it such that a mile away we can detect the enemies lies and counter it with The Word we already have engraved on our hearts.

Watch what those around you are saying to you, over you, and what you are saying to yourself! Is it in line with what God is saying through His Word and His Holy Spirit that lives within you?

There you go! Be discerning!

You always have something in your hands, don’t believe the lie of the enemies!

God did not send you here empty handed! He put treasures in you!

May God open your inner eyes to see all the treasures that are yours this day I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen
