A glimpse of our glorious future birth zeal in us, to pursue its fulfillment with utmost urgency. The enemy of our soul also intensify tactics and wiles to dissuade us from pursuing those dreams. Staying the course is then difficult for even those of strong character, without God steering them on.
When there are detours in life’s journey, it takes courage, persistence, and will power in an individuals life and a whole lot of trust in God to stay the course in the face of fierce resistance.
What door is the enemy trying to close against you? What gate is been locked? What city is been barricaded against you? Who is the strongman standing at the gate of the city? What bark has been sent to scare you away?
The Lord has many people in the city. The keys to the City is been delivered to you, ignore the dogs’ barking, like the Lions in the den with Daniel, it cannot bite you. As the Lord did with Paul, so shall it be for you. Act 18: 9 Then spake the Lord to Paul in the night by a vision, Be not afraid, but speak, and hold not thy peace: 10 for I am with thee, and no man shall set on thee to hurt thee: for I have much people in this city. 11 And he continued there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
This season friends, be still and know our Lord is God! Be led by the spirit!
