Living The Word!

Souls are yearning for God, lost and disillusioned. You can make a difference only if Christ can be seen in you. This is why we must truly live the words we say!

James 1:22 But prove yourselves doers of the word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves.

This generation are smarter than the previous. They look to match what is said with what they can see you do. Action is said to speak louder than words.

Although the scriptures says go into all the world and preach the gospel – Mark 16:15-16, if what we do precede us, our words will not have the effect it ought to have. We must change this dynamics by living out the word!

Shalom!

Stretch Out Your Hands!

You need to “stretch out your hand”. Whatever this means to you friends. It maybe be try it again, apply, submit, ask, go, walk, step out, do something! You must stretch out your hands!

Just imagine how many times this man must have stretched out his hands to look at it. He must have wept as you weep when you are overwhelmed by the issues of your life.

Yet, Christ beckons you to stretch your faith and look at that issue again.

Mark 3: 3 Jesus said to the man with the shriveled hand, “stand up in front of everyone.

4 Then Jesus asked them, ” which is lawful on the Sabbath: to do good or to do evil, to save life or to kill? But they remained silent. 5. He looked around at them in anger and, deeply distress at their stubborn hearts, said to the man, ” stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was completely restored. 6. Then the Pharisees went out and began to plot with the Herodians how they might kill Jesus.

Many a time the Lord want to do somethings in our lives, but the Pharisees and the Herodians, will kick against it because they do not want the Lord to showcase His Almightiness in you. In such instances friends, learn to listen to the promptings of the Holy Spirit and obey the voice of the Lord Himself.

Regardless of the approval of man, Christ Jesus will and is fulfilling His great pleasure in you.

Can you not see the outstretched hand healed? Your heart softened, your body totally healed, your perspectives changed, can you not see my friends?

God is doing a new thing in you! He is showcasing His love and power! Be grateful.

Respond In Faith! Seize Your Kairos Moment!

Acts 16:13 On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. 14 One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira  named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth.  She was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul’s message. 15 When she and the members of her household were baptized, she invited us to her home. “If you consider me a believer in the Lord,” she said, “come and stay at my house.” And she persuaded us.

This means Lydia already had a relationship with the Lord, for how else can she worship a God she does not know? She would not have been worshiping God if she did not know Him intimately, yet her heart was closed to greater revelations of the person of the Holy Spirit. In verse 14″ The Lord opened her heart to “respond” to Paul’s message.” This means she(Lydia) listened, heard, understood what was been said, she received it, and responded by acting on it by faithNote that it is possible to listen and not hear, so also to hear and not understand, yet understand and not receive – which means in this context to accept, and you can receive and not respond – which is taking commensurate action! May God help us to start acting on His word by faith.

How often do we rest on our oars as Christians, having been in the faith for a “long” time – emphasis here, that we are closed minded to fresh revelations in The Word. We fail to see the changing season and what the present demand of us, which invariably causes us to experience change on a continuum in order to see a desired future.

Lord God Almighty, thank you for your saving grace. Thank you Lord for sight, revelations, and understanding. Lord, I pray that your Holy Spirit will continue to open up our hearts to receive of you. Help us Father to seize our Kairos moment like the children of Issachar in 1 Chronicles 12:32 in Christ Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen

1 Chronicles 12:32 from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command;
