Mark 2: 21“No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment. Otherwise, the new piece will pull away from the old, making the tear worse. 22 And no one pours new wine into old wine-skins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wine-skins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wine-skins.”
We must not continue in the same old ways! There must be a change, a turnaround, a retraction, an improvement, an upgrade of our character to reflect Christ in us, the hope of glory.
We have received of Christ, a character building mechanism in the person of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
So now then, since we have received of the Lord newness of life, let us walk accordingly in line with who we are, a new creation, a renewed being, re-energized, refocused, re-validated, restored, and retracted from every form of unwholesome, unworthy endeavors that does not serve Christ’s purpose.
Declare with me friends, I am redeemed, I am set free from all sorts that binds, I am refreshed, I am renewed, I am re-energized to serve, to love, to honor the purpose of my creation and to fulfill every single dream so help me God.
Revelations from the study of the word of God must first speak to you as a minister, before you can deliver it forward. When God speaks to one, He speaks to all by His Holy Spirit – Mark 13:37.
Therefor, when a word is received, it must first, as light pass through you, examining, correcting, instructing and so on before it can have an impact on the recipient and we all as in beholding Him in a mirror can be transformed by the renewing of our minds. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
He who has ears let Him hear what the Spirit says!
Psalms 84:1 How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! NIV
Your dwelling place is lovely Lord, would you dwell in our hearts richly. I want Christ to be what radiates in and about me. Not my charm, glamor, outfit, nor my efforts or material possession, or lack thereof, but simply Him, God Almighty – shifting wrong attitude, guarding my words, actions, and whispering constant truths into my heart in Jesus mighty name. Amen
Psalms 86:10For you are great and do marvelous deeds; you alone are God. 11 Teach me your way, Lord,that I may rely on your faithfulness;give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.12 I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart;
I will glorify your name forever.13 For great is your love toward me;you have delivered me from the depths, from the realm of the dead.
Be thou magnified oh Lord God of Heaven. You who created the heavens and the earth, holds the universe in the palm of your hands, you dwell in light unapproachable, yet dwells in my heart, gently perfuming my body, soul, and spirit. You do not dwell in the house of clay, but in this heart of mine, small and soft, and yet big enough for you Most High, Ancient of Days to dwell in strengthening, enlarging, and endowing with your very essence. Glory to your Holy Name Oh Lord!
1 John 3:1-3 See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3 All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.
Therefore, brothers and sisters, let us wake up from our slumber. We need spiritual awakening and the manifestation of the power of God in our midst like never before in order to be relevant in this present generation and stop the loss of precious souls to the kingdom of darkness.
We are to arise and shine for the light has come and the spirit of the living God has risen upon us. For darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples – Isaiah 60:1-5.
Arise oh my soul and be renewed! Dwell not on the transient, that which does perish, but on that which will endure to eternity. Do not be deceived by the deceitfulness of sin. Every challenges has made you stronger and is moving you towards your walking on your high places to the joy and glory of Christ who died to make you live and live abundantly a life that is worthy of the calling upon your life.
Take up the mantle and trample upon serpent and scorpions and over all the power of darkness and nothing shall hurt you. You have the mind of Christ, operate in it to give joy to the sorrowful, deliverance to the captives and declare peace be still to storms raging in the heart and mind of the nations.
To you Lord, the Everlasting Father be all glory, honor and adoration! Amen
