Maturity Makes A Model!

Philippians 3:15 All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. 16 Only let us live up to what we have already attained. (Let us live by the truth we already know)

17 Join together in following my example, (Pauls) brothers and sisters, and just as you have the apostles us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do (authentic believers).18 For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

When you mature in your faith, living the Word, without any false righteousness, you will inadvertently become a role model. Others will see your authenticity, weakness, faith, vulnerability and all without guile.

The world needs more of such!

    in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
    let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.
5 Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies;
    let the nations fall beneath your feet.

Forgiveness! Peace! Growth !

2 Corinthians 2:1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.2:2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that maketh me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me? 2:3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more 1 sam2 30abundantly unto you.2:5 But if any have caused grief, he hath not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all.2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.2:7 So that contrariwise ye ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.2:8 Wherefore I beseech you that ye would confirm your love toward him.2:9 For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye are obedient in all things:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

Friends in the household of God, what we have all failed to realize is that hurting one person ultimately hurt many. Treating an individual as a scum bag sends a signal to others that it could be me next.  When one person is hurt in a group, that person becomes a loose screw, the group becomes disjointed just like pain on a thumb affects the whole body.

We should let healing begin right within us so that those other souls Christ is bringing into our midst find a vibrant abode to be nurtured rather than an infected and cantercarous community.

We need to affirm and reaffirm love for Christ by loving, caring and respecting eachother. It is the right thing to do! This is the only way of peace, joy and prosperity- by prosperity I mean growth- spiritual snd physical, fruitfulness and vibrancy in our community.

Oh Father, how you must have looked upon our ignorance.  If only we knew what you have in store for us! The growth in all spheres, peace, joy, signs and wonder. The heavens you have opened above us, Lord help us in your mercy to discard every weight of disobedience so we can receive that which you have given to us. Dear Lord our Father, we are your children, help us, help us to know the right thing to do and grant us the grace to do it. Let your agape love reign supreme in our hearts in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Christ in Me, The Hope of Glory!!!!!!

In meColossians 1;27 To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Colossians 2: 6 As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.8 Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. 9 For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; 10 and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.

Christ in me, the hope of glory! Christ in me, the hope of glory! Wow, I am complete in Christ Jesus! You are complete in Christ Jesus! Nothing missing friends, except what the world is holding you and I bound too. Break free today from every man made and self made bondage! You are free to live your life to please Him who gave it to you, stop being people pleaser! Dare to be different, dare to be your unique self!

Let Christ fill that void in your heart and soul. Religion and self righteousness can not fill it. Neither can any other being or spirit fill it except the Lord Himself. Your husband, wife, children, sex, drug, career, money, position, affluence, degree and all sort that humans desire and covet does not make you complete. You will always be inadequate until you accept and receive Christ Jesus into your heart. Going to Church for 40 years will leave you still empty year after year without genuine repentance and acceptance of Christ’s righteousness and sovereignty. He does rule in the affairs of man. Plug yourself into Christ today friends, stop religiosity!

Christ in me, the hope of glory! For in Christ Jesus is hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. In Christ Jesus I have been brought to fullness! Christ Jesus is the head over every power and authority, in heaven and on earth, who therefor shall I fear? Absolutely no one, for greater is Him, Christ Jesus that is in me than he that is in the world. Christ in Me indeed the hope of glory. No fear of any one operating under the influence of serpentine spirit, the spirit of deceit and the likes. In the name of Jesus every knee must bow, in heaven and on earth.

If you are of the Lord, why should you be afraid of anything! Why! Or rather, are you afraid of been found out as evil? Deuteronomy 20:3 And he shall say to them, ‘Hear, O Israel: Today you are on the verge of battle with your enemies. Do not let your heart faint, do not be afraid, and do not tremble or be terrified because of them; 4 for the Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.’ They that come against you in one way must definitely flee before you in seven ways, for the Lord is the one going before you. Make sure you don’t have evil residing in your abode, do not bring the wrath of God on your own heads. Repent! repent! repent! repent today, when there is still time, tomorrow may be too late!

Only a repentant soul can be filled with the love of Christ and then all the promises of God can be yours! Friends, let us not hide under the shadow of religion, let us take hold of Christ Jesus, ask for His help, he knows anyways, humble yourself and He will lift you up in due time and then you will really be satisfied with your lot in life and be genuinely joyful regardless of any stormy seas you are facing,in or passing through. Jesus passed through storms, so will you at one stage or another, just be rest assured it will not sweep you under, you will triumph over every circumstance.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding,commit your ways unto the Lord and He will order your steps.

You will not fail, falter, nor fall!

Lord Jesus I pray that your power that is resident within me will manifest to destroy every seed of wickedness in and around me. Let your Holy Spirit purge me of all unrighteousness in my thought, words and actions as I daily grow to be like you eternity unending. Amen
