How Long More? Rise Up!

Mark 9:14 – 29 When they came to the other disciples, they saw a large crowd around them and the teachers of the law arguing with them. 15 As soon as all the people saw Jesus, they were overwhelmed with wonder and ran to greet him.

Jesus asked and responded as follows:

  • “What are you arguing with them about” he asked – verse 16
  • “You unbelieving generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me.” verse 19
  • “How long has he been like this?” – Verses 21
  • “‘If you can’?” Said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes,” – Verse 23
  • “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, ” I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” Verse 25

26 The spirit shrieked, convulsed him violently and came out. The boy looked so much like a corpse that many said, “He’s dead.” 27 But Jesus took him by the hand and lifted him to his feet, and he stood up. 28 After Jesus had gone indoors, his disciples asked him privately, ” Why couldn’t we drive it out?”

  • He replied, ” This kind can come out only by prayer.” Verse 29

Think about this friends:

How long have you been arguing with the issues of your life? You have been going back and forth, negotiating, compromising, and yet no solution in sight.

How long are you going to continue in this situation? How long are you willing to put up with the unbelief in your heart? The impossibility whispering in your ears! Why will you not take it to the Cross? Be determined to rise up!

Think about it! How long have you been like this? How long more are you willing to remain the same, going around in circle without remedy?

If you can conceive it in your heart, precipitated by love for God, love for others and love for yourself, it is attainable. Everything is possible for those that believe.

You then need to/ have to cast down everything that has raised itself up against the backdrop of the Word of God, the plan of heaven for your life, and your freedom in Christ Jesus. 2 Corinthians 10:5

Stand upon The Word, I say again, stand – Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Sight! Village! Past!

Mark 8:22-25 I often wonder why Jesus acted the way he acted many times in the Scriptures! Why take a blind man out of the most familiar place he knows?

To see afresh? Maybe see differently! Or, probably Christ took him out of the village because it was the “village” that clouded his eyes?

Jesus also warned the blind man not to go back to the “village”! Jesus did not want him to broadcast him that I understand, but I also think it means more.

I don’t know what village means to you, but for me, it means, don’t go back to being blind to your status in Christ Jesus, acting small to fit in, staying in that box, devaluing yourself, doubting the power at work in you and much more!

Some of us have been delivered from Spiritual blindness, this is a warning not to go back into ignorance. Don’t look back at the past longingly friends, there is nothing back there for you!

Move forward in the capability of the Most High God! You can see now, don’t pretend you can’t! Shine your light and let the world see that great things Christ has done!

By Twos! Not Much Either!

These were his instructions:”Take nothing for the journey except a staff- no bread, no bag, no money in your belts. Wear sandals but not an extra shirt. Whenever you enter a house, stay there until you leave that town. And if any place will not welcome you or listen to you, leave that place and shake the dust off you feet as a testimony against them.” Mark 6:8-11

Jesus sent the disciples out in twos without so much and AND THEY IMPACTED THE WORLD SO MUCH THAT YOU AND I, ARE READING AND STUDYING THEIR WORK, THOUSAND OF YEARS LATER. Verse 12: They went out and preached that people should repent. 13: They drove out many demons and anointed many sick people with oil and healed them.

Nowadays we have fleet of airplanes, Gucci suits, Rolex watches, mansions, gold and silver, large auditorium and all the fleeting things that have taken over this age, and yet demons stare us in the face at every service, the sick line up the aisle, people leave Churches and go home to commit suicide, accursed things are celebrated and evil sit at the gate!

Holy Spirit, enlighten us! Are you here as you were at the beginning? Is Joel 2:28 valid for us today? It was valid when Peter quoted it in Acts 2:17, for we saw the result! Why is the temperature and the beating of our hearts so low? Revive your people! Revive us oh Lord in Jesus name. Amen

We are not seeing the move of the Spirit as we should because the vessels are all together corrupt, everyone is seeking after self, building kingdoms on earth, and not the kingdom of God!

Jeremiah 5: “Go up and down the streets of Jerusalem, (put your locale here) look around and consider, search through her squares. If you can find but one person who deals honestly and seeks the truth, I will forgive this city. 2 Although they say, ‘As surely as the Lord lives, still they are swearing falsely.” 3 Lord, do not your eyes look for truth? You struck them, but they felt no pain; you crushed them, but they refused correction. They made their faces harder than stone and refused to repent. 4 I thought, “These are only the poor; (baby Christians if there ever was such. The laymen, those in the pews etc) they are foolish, for they do not know the way of the Lord, the requirements of their God. 5 So I will go to the leaders, (the Bishops, Reverend, Pastors, GO’s, Reverend Fathers etc) and speak to them; surely they know the way of the Lord, the requirements of their God.” But with one accord they too had broken off the yoke and torn off the bonds. 6…………. 7″Why should I forgive you? Your children have forsaken me and sworn by gods that are not gods. I supplied all their needs, yet they committed adultery and thronged to the houses of prostitutes.8 They are well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for another man’s wife. 9 Should I not punish them for this?” declares the Lord. “Should I not avenge myself.

We all should repent of our wicked ways, no exemption. From the top to the bottom, we have all backs-lidded, for how else can we explain what is going on in our congregation? How? With all the gadget, ease, and provision, The Church is not impacting her world!

Jeremiah 5: 30 ” A horrible and shocking thing has happened in the land: 31 The prophets prophesy lies, the priests rule by their own authority, and my people love it this way. But what will you do in the end?

What will you do? What will I do? I will pray and speak up. speak out about the truth that sets free!

Almighty, All Knowing, All Seeing, All Powerful God, have mercy on us the “poor”, and our “leaders”. Open our eyes to see the effect of our coldness to your will, the vacuum we have left for your enemy, Satan, to fill up. Rekindle your fire within us Lord, set our hearts ablaze, aright and in sync to your will I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Wondering!Yet Delivered!

Why would Legion, the many demon that took over the man in Mark 5 request not to be sent out of the area? Why preferring to possess animals instead of leaving the area? The demons were afraid of judgement, they did not want to be sent into the abyss, they have gained a foothold in the area, they had to stay even if its in pigs.

Demons are spirit being, they need a body to operate on earth. Pray that your mind, body and soul will not be taken over by such in Jesus name

The Bible in Revelation 12:7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down, that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

In Revelation 12 verse 12 the scriptures stated “Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you!

Ever since the devil has been owing sway over the earth, pursuing and attacking the seed of The Woman of Revelation 12:13 When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child….. the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth. 17 Then the dragon (Satan) was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring, those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus

The request of Mark 5:10 was made to enable them continue their task of waging war on those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

Who would have thought the demon possessed man was ordained before the foundation of the earth was laid to be an evangelist – Jeremiah 1:5?

The devil knew and came in legion, yet God’s plan and purpose still triumph. Jesus set him free! May the blood of Jesus set you and I free to fulfill our God given destiny also. Amen! Hallelujah

We can see the effect of these demonic agent everywhere in individual lives, on pews, pulpits, homes, councils, politics, judiciary, everywhere, with evil laws, evil deeds, counsel and what not spewing out left right and center to trap believers like this man was trapped until Jesus showed up.

Almighty God, you know all things. Today I ask that you will show up for me, my brothers and sisters.

Lord, we need you to show us the self destructive path we may have taken as a result of demonic influence.

Ancient of Days deliver us and set us free from every sin that easily binds.

Holy Spirit, Spirit of the Most High God we welcome you into our midst, have your way in our hearts, in the hearts of your people.

Thank you Lord for your mercy, without which no man can stand.

Against All! Grace Speaks!

You never know who is jealous of You! Read Acts 5:12-20

Those that should celebrate your deliverance from doubt and unbelief, your healings – emotional, physical, and psychological, may have not wanted that miracle to be yours, because of whatever!

But for God!!! Hallelujah!!!

The teacher of the law, if they were good men should be celebrating the good taking place before their very eyes amongst the people, but…

They were filled with jealousy! They tried to discourage, belittle, and maligne the Apostles!

But God?

He will always show up for You!!

Watch out, for as it was, so is, so shall it be!

There will always be those that will work relentlessly to douse your fire, your spark!

I found out that those with what seemingly looks “small” are not envious or jealous, they are content, while striving for more!

But those seemingly with ‘all’? Never content, never satisfied, always wanting to grab from the Naboaths, the David’s, the Mordecais, the Urriahs of this world!!!

At the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders (attesting miracles) were continually taking place among the people.

… the sick and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all being healed.

But the high priest stood up, along with all his associates (that is, the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy and resentment. ACTS 5:12‭-‬17 AMP

The Lord is leading you out of the box the enemy want to constrain you!

He leads You! And You! Yes!!!

“But during the night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors, and leading them out, he said, “Go, stand and continue to tell the people in the temple [courtyards] the whole message of this Life [the eternal life revealed by Christ and found through faith in Him].”
ACTS 5:19‭-‬20 AMP

Lawfully Captive Shall Be Delivered!

Father in the name of Jesus Christ, let everyone held captive be delivered.

As many as are in bondage, revive their Spirit man, let the name of Jesus spring out of their mouth. Let The blood of Jesus shed on Calvary speak for them right now.

Jesus Christ died on the cross, He offered His blood once and for all for the sin of as many as will call upon his name.

As many who’s lifeblood is about to be shed on any evil alter, in the name of Jesus Christ be delivered. Be set free now! Open the mouth of your people Lord to declare thy words!

I, and my children, generations unborn are for signs and for wonder in the land of the living. Our blood shall not be shed on any evil alter for Christ took our place, He died for us! We declare liberty in the name of Jesus Christ!

Friends, declare the WORD over every issue of life!

Christ paid it All! His blood still speaks today! Lord, let the lawful captive be delivered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
