Simply Faith! Exercise

Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus. “What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him. The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. Mark 10:48‭-‬52 NIV

Friends, there are many things, situations, circumstances, and sad to say, people that will discourage you from pursuing your greatest desire to see, to serve, speak, walk, to reproduce, to pioneer uniqueness, to become all that heaven has ordained for you. You do not have to let this situation and people dissuade you from crying all the more as blind Bartimaeus did.

You need to cry all the more, you know He is able, Jesus is able as settled in your heart, so go ahead and cry all the more! Don’t you ever lose hope, don’t let discouragement wear you out. Cry all the more unto the Lord and your faith shall heal you!

Distraction Inevitable! Be Focused!

2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

d699e496-7c38-4b1e-9a8c-2c01f114d5afFriends, as you are working hard to take hold of your blessing, trying to focus on your goal, distractions will come in form of the facts of your life, it will stare you in the face. Situation, circumstances, well meaning people and not so well meaning ones will harmer on the facts of your life to distract and discourage you from your goal. You will be made jest off, your own perceived inadequacies will threaten your peace. You might second guess your ability to cope and be efficient in carrying out your task, fulfilling destiny.

Your master, covering, mentor, those things that gives you balance and stability, when they are taken away or been threatened to be taken away causes distraction. It most often makes you to lose focusing on God wholeheartedly to bring to pass His good pleasure in your life according to Philippians 2:13.  You have to learn to sift through all these and hold unto that which is needful, focus on the author and finisher of your faith – Jesus.

This was Elisha’s experience in 2 Kings 2:3 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”…..5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

There will be those also who are not helping you with encouragement, neither are distracting you in anyway except as prying eyes, watching your every movement, waiting to see you fall, fail or falter like in 2 Kings 2:7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan.

Friends, you have to be sure and committed totally with faith to your calling. Distractions will come from everywhere once you start following your goal, distractions from places you least expect, please learn to stay true to yourself. Keep your destiny in sight, focus on Jesus Christ. What has the Lord shown you? What has He said in the scriptures? Trust those words as revealed unto you. It will be as the Lord has said. He is able that promised.

Greatness Within You – Trust God

Yes you were! Yes! you and you!
Yes you were! Yes! you and you!

The seed of greatness lies deep within everyone. The light of God shining through by the help of the Holy Spirit bring it to our consciousness. The knowledge of who we are birth a yearning, so strong a desire to bring forth that which has laid dormant within us since the beginning of time. Remember friends, before the foundations of the earth was laid, God knew us.

Jeremiah 1:4-10

4 The word of the Lord came to me, saying,5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

before you were born I set you apart;I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”
6 “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”

7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you. 8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.

9 Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, “I have put my words in your mouth. 10 See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

What are you waiting for friends, start flexing your muscles. Every baby steps should be towards your calling in life. You are here for a purpose. A grand purpose at that, it required Jesus Christ to step in and gave himself as a ransom when great grand dad and mom sinned in the garden of Eden. Do not let that precious blood be in vain. Rise up, strengthen the feeble hand and do something, anything that will align you with the design of heaven.

Greatness await you friends! Let go of everything and everyone that do not add value to your life. Ask God to show you what to do. He told Samuel in 1 Samuel 16:3 …..” I will show you what to do”. He still speaks and will speak to your situation if you would only listen and be obedient. Does it really matter what people will say or not say? Who cares? You? Then you are not yet ready to tap into the greatness within your reach, the greatness that God planted in your heart.

Stand with God, he will see you through. Trust God’s judgement, he knows way more than you could ever know and sees farther than you could. Jeremiah 32:19 Great are your purposes and mighty are your deeds. Your eyes are open to the ways of all mankind;……

The Lord that started a good thing in your life is able to complete it, he will perfect it, yield yourself, trust God and he will grant you the desires of your heart. Every of your action backed by faith in the written word of God shall prosper. Trust thou in the Lord ye children of the Most High God.

Shalom
