Resisting!

Acts 9 Saul met with Christ on the way to Damascus and that encounter made him to be temporarily blind, temporary because Ananias had been ordained to restore his sight.

Saul lost his sight and was led by his companions to Damascus, to the house of Judas where it has been ordained for Ananias to meet with him.

I wonder how many people, potential Saints, have been blinded by the awesomeness of the encounter they have had with the person of the Holy Spirit!

I wonder how many people, “leaders” have been blinded also, they have lost touch with reality, for they have “spent too much time” in the presence of the light!

And the companions, they heard the sound, but did not see anyone. Had they, instead of leading, informing, guiding, and instructing, they block information from Saul, he would not have become Paul, or maybe not. God always has back-ups! No one is indispensable!

Would reluctant Ananias be patient with the kind of sycophants hanging around our leaders today? Had Saul’s companion hindered Ananias from seeing Saul, he probably would have remained blind. Can you fathom that?

Nowadays, we have countless people that do not have solution or suggestions to temper a looming crises, yet they stand in the way of the solution bearers.

Father, I pray that you will be merciful to us. For as many of us standing in the way of what you are doing in our midst this season, Lord be merciful and help us to move aside, that your will may be done.

May we not resist the power that we should embrace, and embrace the force we should resist.

Pour out your Spirit afresh on us Lord. Let every scale covering our eyes of understanding be removed in Jesus Christ mighty name I pray. Amen

Shalom! Shalom!

Tested! He Watches Over You!

Like Charles Spurgeon said, “God had one Son without sin, but He never had a Son without sorrow, and He never will while the world stands”. Life is filled with ups and downs and it is all for the purpose of our transformation. We are tested in every way, especially in the area of our greatest strength, yes, our greatest strength. You see friends, we often pride ourselves that there are some things that can never catch us unaware. We’ve put some guards in place and all sort, and then something out of the ordinary happens and we are like, what…. what was that?

faithYou see friends, our dependency must be in God always and not in our own strength. Many times over and over we will fail, if we depend on our own strength for we have none. We assume we do because we have not been tested in that particular area. When we boast thereof, then trials will come to tempt us, to prove to us that we have no strength, except the strength of Christ Jesus bestowed on us. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

struggleLife will happen and only with the eyes of understanding, enlightened by the love of God, will we be able to see the hand of God in every detail of our life. We are, as God’s children been transformed from glory to glory through diverse means – trials, tribulations, and temptations more than the period of calmness. ” Embrace the suck” (to borrow from “3375F.com) lovingly I would say for Christ is with you all the way!  Psalms 121 : 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

Great Destiny-Your Destiny!

You have a great destiny! Embrace it prayerfully!

You have a great destiny! Embrace it prayerfully!

Ephesians 2:10 For we are His workmanship , created in Christ Jesus for good works , which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Friends, please note that God had plans for your life. You are not here by accident. It does not matter what you are going through right now, it will work out for the good for which God created you.

You see, God had a great task to be accomplished in the future. He then stood in the beginning of time, created and formed you in Christ Jesus as a spirit being equipped to do this lofty future task.

Remember that as humans God gave us free will. You came to earth through whatever means which plays a part in who you are destined to be. Everything must of necessity work for your good even though you might not enjoy it in the moment, there is a master plan – prayerfully embrace it.

Every experience of life is to equip you and enable you to do the task created in advance for you to do. If you haven’t experienced the loss of a spouse, how do you console someone in that position. Divorce, separation or distance from each other can not stand next to death. Death is final, hope is lost until eternity, unlike divorce and separation which can be restored while distance is temporal.

How do you console a 33 year old mother of two children under 2 years that have just lost her  husband?

How do you encourage a young wife that has just been rejected, abandoned and deeply injured?

How do you give hope to a chaste beautiful young woman who no eligible man checks out- ask out? How do you make her see that she is beautiful and that the right man will come as ordained by God?

How do you help others to see what you see in the words of God, the predestined plan and purpose for which he created us all in Christ Jesus, if you yourself haven’t gone through things that brought you to your knees and points you to the Word where you found yourself.

Now you know why you are going through what you are going through. You have to be equipped to do what you are created to do.

The right experience that will build your character to reflect Christ Jesus does not come natural to us. Remember our nature is of this world, corrupt, self seeking and self gratifying. It is in Christ Jesus that we are transformed daily to be who God created us to be.

Therefore, friends in whatever situation you are in right now ask God to give you discernment to learn what you need to learn and move to the next stage of life.

To get to your final destination from where you are, you need to cooperate with God by seeking his face, yielding your self and obeying every instructions backed up by the word of God.

Be led by the Holy Spirit towards becoming who God created you to be. God said he has a plan for you, to bless you and not to harm you, and to see you to an expected end – to fulfill your destiny – the work God had prepared in advance for you to do.

Repent therefor from every disobedience-sin, ask Jesus into your life, accept his plan for your life- he knows you better than you know yourself and knows what is good for you. Embrace the love of Christ, let it guide you.

You will get there, you will make it, your life is beautiful, your future is colorful and your destiny is glorious!

Can you see it?

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
