Expressions Of Faith

According to Galatians 5:6: For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love. KJV

NIV: Galatians 5:6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love

Therefore, any faith that is not expressed in love is a gimmicks. A faith exercised outside of love for God and man is no faith. Faith in God must of necessity reflect love for God and His creation – other people.

In our daily living then, in our endeavors, how much of our faith walks and work reflect love for God and others?

Going back to basics will realign us with the Truth of the Gospel. Self-centered faith ask for this and that for self gratification, aggradizement, and what not, failing to seek for the good of God and others.

I pray we all reexamine ourselves, ask for mercy where we have failed, and receive grace for realignment.

Thank you Lord for your faithfulness.

I Charge You!! Pray!

So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent and persistent prayer for him was being made to God by the church. ACTS 12:5 AMP

It is sickening that the Church of this last days, do not pray for each other. How we have grown in the wrong direction baffles me.

These days, when we see brethren in bondage to sin, being persecuted, arrested by poverty, troubles, failures, and the likes, WE, the Church, Pastors and congregants alike point fingers, makes jest, insinuates demeaning remarks etcetera, about them.

We are charged by Christ to pray for each other, including those we perceive as enemies – James 5:16, Matthew 5:44

It’s even worst when snide remarks are heard from the pulpit!

Christians! Christ beloved and followers, please repent! We must start loving Christ genuinely by caring for His body, one another!

Just think about it friends! Will Jesus know a brother or Sister in need and not reach out to such?

Take a look around, how many people have you personally touched with kindness?

How many in your congregation, family, friends and acquitances have you shown kindness? Just being nice!!! I mean, this may be all that someone needs!

How about prayer? How many do you know struggling, arrested and in prison, enclosed about by poverty, lack, relationship woes, addiction, and the likes, have you earnestly prayed up?

This is what true Christianity is all about! Caring for one another enough to talk to the Father on their behalf positively.

I said positively because many would rather God takes some off the face of the earth so they can shine more, or covet what belongs to them.

Friends, I charge you in Christ name to pray for a brother or Sister you know or perceive may be going through an unpalatable situation.

Just do it and you’ll see how satisfying it is. Your Spirit man will confirm the heart of the Father and you will feel peace like never before.

Try it! It is liberating!

Your Latter Days Shall Be Better

Oh Lord, what have I done to deserve this? Who have I sinned against Mummy? These and many more questions I used to ask my mother of blessed memory. Having known “religion” as a child, living truthfully to the best of my knowledge according to my understanding of The Word, I did not expect the experiences of life apportioned to me.

My Mom’s response had always been, “you don’t have to sin against someone to be attacked by wickedness”. My prayer for you is that ” ale a san e ju owuro lo” as in “your latter days shall be better”. I did not know this was scriptural for a long time until I read Haggai 2:9  ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place, I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”

patient in spirit

To everyone who has been tossed by tempest here, there, and overboard, yet holding on to the promises of God, abiding in His presence, the sun of righteousness has this word for you. Haggai 2:4 Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord; ‘and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord, ‘and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts. Keep working out your faith friends! Keep doing the needful.

Jpottereremiah 30:22 ‘You shall be My people, and I will be your God.’” If you take time to examine yourself, you will realize that you have been growing closer to Christ. Through these experiences, God has been revealing more of himself to you. You are growing through, breaking forth into who you are created to be, strong, capable, and resilient. God is walking you, guiding you through friends. Isn’t that awesome!

Job 8:7 Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly. Ecclesiastic 7:8 The end of a thing is better than its beginning; Endure this season with joy for the refreshment is presently been prepared. You shall laugh last! The Potter is making something extremely beautiful – Jeremiah 18. Abide In The Word!

Believe the Word! It works wonders!

Appreciate & Embrace Love

It takes sadness to know what happiness is

It takes rejection to know what acceptance is

It takes poverty to know what it means to be rich

It takes loss to appreciate what you had

It takes oppression and bondage to appreciate freedom

experiences

If you have never been betrayed, I doubt if you’ll understand loyalty

If your heart had never been broken, shattered in many places

I doubt if you’ll if you can understand genuine love

Unconditional, constant, pure, and faithful love

I beseech you, folks, to seek love, the love of the Father

More than any human love

Human love is at best unstable

Dependent on your participation and cooperation

The love of Christ is sacrificial, it took him to the Cross

No human will sacrifice his life for you

Nor his or her convenience, ambition and what not!

Embrace the love of Christ Jesus today!

It is constant, unchanging, unconditional, pure, true, reliable, faithful

It is dependable, stable, unwavering, everlasting, and freely given

Accept, receive, take hold of it today

Understanding The Goodness!Gives Overflowing Joy!

When I think of the goodness of Jesus
And all He has done for me
My very soul shall shout
Hallelujah
Praise God for saving grace

It has not always been like this
For I kept beating myself up
For all the lies I had believed
The dumb things I have said
The wicked way I had acted

Believing the lies gave me nothing to work with
I was tossed here and there by every wind of doctrine
Until the Lord in His mercy stepped in
He got my attention when my back was to the wall
Boxed in at every side with nowhere to turn

I lifted up my eyes unto the hills
I cried out for mercy and He heard me
He reached down to lift me up
He held me close and soothe my pain
Reassuring me He will never leave nor forsake

All those who put thier trust in Him
Rejoice therefor and be glad
Sing a new song to the Lord of our Salvation
To Him who was, who is and who is to come
Glory, honor, and adoration belongs to you

In Nehemiah 8 – Ezra the Priest brought the Law before the assembly, made up of  men and women and all those who were able to understand. He read it aloud from day break till noon. And all the people listened attentively to the Book of the Law.

As the ceremony began, everyone stood up. Ezra praised the Lord, the great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, “Amen”. Excitement was high until the words that were been read made sense. When the Levites explained what was been read clearly, giving it meaning for all to understand. The people must have realized how rebellious they had been, for their countenance changed and they became sad. Their understanding birth reflection.

psalm-143So have I been each time the Lord shows me another of my flaws, in my character, speech, interactions and reaction to others. Friends, as our hearts are been transformed by the renewing of our minds by the word of God, we will be saddened here and there by what we see of our true self.

However, the Lord has gone ahead to tell us in Nehemiah 8:9 “This day is holy to the Lord your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law. 10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

This means that , when we notice our errors, flaws and mistakes, we should actually celebrate, for it means the word of God is actually profiting our soul, it is a time of jubilation. It means that we are growing, we are understanding The Word, and it is transforming us from within! We are beginning to take root downwards, and bear good fruit upwards.

nehemiah-8-10Therefor friends, celebrate your salvation, celebrate the fact that you are living to make as many mistakes as you have made! Celebrate the fact that all is working out, a plan, a purpose for God’s glory. Your mistakes are been transformed to a message for God’s people and His glory. Look deeply into the word and you will see a pattern of God’s great mercy and love in your life. Rejoice I say, rejoice in the Lord! You are highly favored.

Nehemiah 8:12 Then all the people went away to eat and drink, to send portions of food and to celebrate with great joy, because they now understood the words that had been made known to them.
