Struggles!

Charmaine, a vibrant young woman who lost her father at a very young age, lost her brother and two other close people in her life, yet the most positive and inspiring person I have ever met.

It was an honor meeting you Charmaine.

In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy, and at his right hand is pleasure forever more.

The presence of God within us as believers should inherently give us joy.

I admonished you therefore in the name of Jesus, let Christ dwell richly within you.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

The Sovereign God Be Praise!

Psalms 33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O ye righteous: for praise is comely for the upright. 2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings. 3 Sing unto him a new song; play skilfully with a loud noise. 4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth. 5 He loveth righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD. 6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. 7 He gathereth the waters of the sea together as an heap: he layeth up the depth in storehouses. 8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. 9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast. 10 The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect. 11 The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. 12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. 13 The LORD looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. 14 From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 15 He fashioneth their hearts alike; he considereth all their works. 16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength. 17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength. 18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; 19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. 20 Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. 21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.

Be magnified Oh Lord my God! Praise the Lord friends for His faithfulness and mercy, for His love endures forever. He has not forsaken and will not forsake His beloveth!!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Joy Of A Loving Father!

What a joy that fills the heart that knows the love of a Father? The unconditional love of God, overtime, assures the heart walking alone, even in the dark places and season of life, of safety, love and peace.

The promises of God is put to test more during the season of bleakness! How easy it is to praise God on the mountain top, to dance on the luscious green and laugh at the table of delicacies!

Oh, barren sing for joy! Only by His grace can one sing the Lord’s song in a strange land.

A faith untested is no faith at all!!! How can we profess love of God, if we have not loved the unloveable, the wicked and the ungrateful?

To see the depravity of souls ignorant of God’s unfailing love for them, releases unto us the grace to love as we have been loved, for we were but once ignorant, wicked and ungrateful.

How we love you Abba Father! Ancient of days, the God who was, who is, and who is to come. Be thou magnified oh Lord our righteousness!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Tested! He Watches Over You!

Like Charles Spurgeon said, “God had one Son without sin, but He never had a Son without sorrow, and He never will while the world stands”. Life is filled with ups and downs and it is all for the purpose of our transformation. We are tested in every way, especially in the area of our greatest strength, yes, our greatest strength. You see friends, we often pride ourselves that there are some things that can never catch us unaware. We’ve put some guards in place and all sort, and then something out of the ordinary happens and we are like, what…. what was that?

faithYou see friends, our dependency must be in God always and not in our own strength. Many times over and over we will fail, if we depend on our own strength for we have none. We assume we do because we have not been tested in that particular area. When we boast thereof, then trials will come to tempt us, to prove to us that we have no strength, except the strength of Christ Jesus bestowed on us. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

struggleLife will happen and only with the eyes of understanding, enlightened by the love of God, will we be able to see the hand of God in every detail of our life. We are, as God’s children been transformed from glory to glory through diverse means – trials, tribulations, and temptations more than the period of calmness. ” Embrace the suck” (to borrow from “3375F.com) lovingly I would say for Christ is with you all the way!  Psalms 121 : 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.
