Circumstances

I am creating a new circumstance, while making the best use of my circumstances as best i can, to impact my world positively to the glory of my creator!

  • Joan Debo Sanusi

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them.”

George Bernard Shaw – July 26th 1857 – November 2nd, 1950

Today’s Words

Words of affirmation

But I, Joan, am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special girl, that I may proclaim the praises of Christ who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light; I Peter 2:9 NKJV personified

Words of Comfort

Behold, God will not cast away the blameless, Nor will He uphold the evildoers.He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, And your lips with rejoicing.Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the dwelling place of the wicked will come to nothing.” Job 8:20‭-‬22 NKJV

Call For Repentance

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. Who has hardened himself against Him and prospered? Job 9:4 NKJV

None! God is Sovereign! Repent therefore of all your sins!

You Can Talk! He Listens! He Will Act!

It’s that moment again! I don’t know about you, but sometimes, just to be sure, I ask God, “is that you?” You know those time when you are not very sure of yourself. I mean you know you heard quite alright, or maybe saw clearly, or better still something was impressed on your mind, a word from the scripture, a message stamped on your heart, beating so loudly!

Yet, you are like, is that you Lord? You know it is not from Satan, because you know He will fight to steal or tamper with whatever will be against him! Still, you want to be sure, it is not your head playing tricks on you. You want to be sure this is God. You ask, like many others before you for a sign. Like Gibeon in Judges 6, you want God to show you a sign that He is really the one speaking, and not a lying Spirit, the Spirit of error, or zeal motivated by self – what’s in it for me?.

Judges 6: 36 So Gideon said to God, If You will save Israel by my hand as You have said— 37 look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said. 38 And it was so. When he rose early the next morning and squeezed the fleece together, he wrung the dew out of the fleece, a bowlful of water. 39 Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.” 40 And God did so that night. It was dry on the fleece only, but there was dew on all the ground.

In my case, I said to God, why are you keeping silent? Talk to me! I heard Him speak right away, not like in recent times, so I was like, is that you Lord?. He responded right away! So I said, show me a sign that you are the one really talking to me and not myself talking to myself! I do speak to myself! Crazy right? Well, my spirit talks to my soul and my soul moves my body as required. So I do talk to myself! You will catch that one day!

So the Lord asked me a question! What do you see on your horizon? I answered right away without so much as a thought. God said that is Me. You would not have been able to see what your saw without Me with you!

So friends, what do you see on your horizon? Can you see at all? Is it clear or blurry? Talk to God about it! He is readily available to calm your fears and strengthen you with might by His Holy Spirit in your inner manEphesian 3:16. You must be born again though! You must consciously cultivate a relationship with Jesus Christ. Ask Him into your heart, to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Tell Him to come and abide with you. Oh, friends, He really wants to be with you! Jesus Christ is the friend that sticks closer than a brotherProverbs 18:24. Talk to Him right now!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Blessed And Highly Favored One!

I am blessed and highly favored. My blessings are way beyond been quantified in monetary terms. Yet, I am one of the richest people on this planet. I am blessed to have been chosen before the foundations of the earth was laid as a force of love and joy. I am very fortunate to come from the linage of royalty, astute and wealthy earthly being, successful by the standard of their time, yet humble. My greatest blessing is the knowledge of my heavenly heritage when my Savior, Jesus Christ sought me out, beckoning me to His kingdom as a choice possession, purchased at a precious price of His blood shed on Calvary’s Tree.

securedLook at me, just take a good look friends and see how blessed I am to have found faith so precious and true. Where will I be this moment without Christ grace and love freely given to me by faith?  What would have happened to me in the Lion’s den, the stormy seas and rough places?

Christ Jesus, His love, grace and presence makes a lot of difference in my life. I am who I am by His grace, a changed being, transformed and energized to live a fulfilling life pleasing He, who saved me all the way, with boldness, courage and faith that come what may, I will always be victorious, triumphing over every obstacle.

To be grateful and live for Christ is the least I can give to my savior this moment. Gratefully I praise God for saving me, working in me by His Holy Spirit to will and to act in order to fulfill His good pleasure concerning me.

Thank you Lord Jesus. I am so very grateful. All that I need and desire this season, I bring before you and ask according to your will that all these also I shall gratefully thank you for soon. That you will showcase your love, grace and power in my life and destiny in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

True Disciples Commended!!!! You And I?

God hears!
Are You On The Right Path?

Luke 9:23 Then he said to them: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. 24 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it. 25 What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, and  yet lose or forfeit their very self. 26 Whoever is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of them when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the Holy angels.

What can God commend you and i for? Our material wealth and achievement in our spheres of endeavor? Our sincerity, love, faithfulness, kindness, loyalty, compassion, respect etc God and for each other? Do we love God? Yes we do! However, our brothers and sisters that are Christ image that we see daily are detested. We put down each other, spread malicious lies and sow seed of hatred in peoples mind against one another. Is this the cross we are called to carry daily? I guess not!.

Christ came because of love for mankind. He taught us to love the unlovable, live a selfless life, respect and honor each other. Christ became us so we can be Him. Are we true disciples of Jesus Christ here on earth? John 13:35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.

Each of us should examine ourselves and make amends now so we don’t miss the mark of the high calling of Jesus Christ and be thrown into the abyss with demons in the last day, the day of judgement.

Is our ego so high and our eyes so blinded that we cannot see Christ suffering, death and resurrection in our brothers and sisters?

This is to all of us born again tongue talking brethren. Let us be real for once and be true disciples of Jesus Christ in love, unity of purpose, truth and in spirit. For God is Love – no strings attached.

A Transformed Mind !!!!!

crucifiedRomans 12: 2  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

The transformed mind is:

Faithful, loyal, honest, graceful, joyful, peaceful, courageous, gentle, bold, compassionate, friendly, approachable, loving, kind, merciful, humble, adorable, patient, resilient, truthful, obedient, modest, trusting, ………………………………………………………………………………………..

However, an un-transformed mind is envious, backbites, false accuser, lies, a tale bearer, rumor monger, boastful, rude, proud, selfish, harsh, disloyal, fearful, insecure, impatient, weak, hateful, disobedient, wicked, depressed, lack self esteem, inconsiderate, slanders, manipulate, …………………………………………………………………..

Which mind is mine? Which is yours?  Friends, let us examine ourselves and make necessary adjustment, maybe a 360 degree turn around to be transformed,changed by the renewal of our minds by the Word of God, to be who we are created to be.

I have been transformed, renewed, changed, empowered, endowed with the mind of Christ according to the scriptures. I am who God created me to be – a success, champion, over-comer, line crosser, barrier breaker, victor, discoverer, change agent, uniquely endowed to do exploit and impact my community for the glory of God, Most High.

Will you join me friends? Let us join hands together to encourage and assist each other to be who God created us to be. Let us unite to depopulate the kingdom of darkness to the glory of God Our Father, the King Eternal, All Knowing, All Seeing God. To whom be glory, honor, and adoration, world without end. Amen

Happy New Month!!!!

Praise God. Hallelujah!

Faithful God

Psalm 89

the_faithfulness_of_god1 I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever;
with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known
through all generations.
2 I will declare that your love stands firm forever,
that you have established your faithfulness in heaven itself.
3 You said, “I have made a covenant with my chosen one,
I have sworn to David my servant,
4 ‘I will establish your line forever
and make your throne firm through all generations.’”
5 The heavens praise your wonders, Lord,
your faithfulness too, in the assembly of the holy ones.
6 For who in the skies above can compare with the Lord?
Who is like the Lord among the heavenly beings?
7 In the council of the holy ones God is greatly feared;
he is more awesome than all who surround him.
8 Who is like you, Lord God Almighty?
You, Lord, are mighty, and your faithfulness surrounds you.
9 You rule over the surging sea;
when its waves mount up, you still them.
10 You crushed Rahab like one of the slain;
with your strong arm you scattered your enemies.
11 The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth;
you founded the world and all that is in it.
12 You created the north and the south;
Tabor and Hermon sing for joy at your name.
13 Your arm is endowed with power;
your hand is strong, your right hand exalted.
14 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;
love and faithfulness go before you.
15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,
who walk in the light of your presence, Lord.
16 They rejoice in your name all day long;
they celebrate your righteousness.
17 For you are their glory and strength,
and by your favor you exalt our horn.
18 Indeed, our shield belongs to the Lord,
our king to the Holy One of Israel.
19 Once you spoke in a vision,
to your faithful people you said:
“I have bestowed strength on a warrior;
I have raised up a young man from among the people.
20 I have found David my servant;
with my sacred oil I have anointed him.
21 My hand will sustain him;
surely my arm will strengthen him.
22 The enemy will not get the better of him;
the wicked will not oppress him.
23 I will crush his foes before him
and strike down his adversaries.
24 My faithful love will be with him,
and through my name his horn will be exalted.
25 I will set his hand over the sea,
his right hand over the rivers.
26 He will call out to me, ‘You are my Father,
my God, the Rock my Savior.’
27 And I will appoint him to be my firstborn,
the most exalted of the kings of the earth.
28 I will maintain my love to him forever,
and my covenant with him will never fail.
29 I will establish his line forever,
his throne as long as the heavens endure.
30 “If his sons forsake my law
and do not follow my statutes,
31 if they violate my decrees
and fail to keep my commands,
32 I will punish their sin with the rod,
their iniquity with flogging;
33 but I will not take my love from him,
nor will I ever betray my faithfulness.
34 I will not violate my covenant
or alter what my lips have uttered.
35 Once for all, I have sworn by my holiness—
and I will not lie to David—
36 that his line will continue forever
and his throne endure before me like the sun;
37 it will be established forever like the moon,
the faithful witness in the sky.”

52 Praise be to the Lord forever!
Amen and Amen.
