Life’s Test: Pain, Loss, Heartaches

When a man suffers misfortune, and loss, that is when you really know who your friends truly are. And how Christianly many speaks but do not act! Many will say very unkind words to you, treat you unkindly, gather others around them to speak more evil of you. And spread untruth about your situation!

Salt will be added to your injuries. This is the experience of brother Job, and many brothers and sisters even today.

Job 16:19 Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high. 20 My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God;

“The very same God that spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the wern and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory”

Test will come in life. Our faith, love and hope in the Lord will be tested! This is a guarantee, however my prayer for you is that you will not sin against God in your speech. Don’t lose faith!

Brother Job knew he was blameless, he could not understand why what happened to him happened, yet he had hope in God. But his friends? They were a whole lot different from what he expected. No word of encouragement or comfort but accusations.

This here sounds more like Job thinking, trying to justify what is happening to him, finding no cause, and must have blurted out Job 16:17 yet my hands have been free of violence and my prayer is pure. I mean Lord! You know me! Why all these?

Brothers and sisters suffering any kind of loss, heartaches, or contrariness of life. Please note that God is Sovereign, He knows what you are going through and He will give you respite.

I pray God’s strength be made manifest in your weakness. May His love envelope you. May the light of His countenance warm your heart. God is God on the mountain, as He is God on the valley, hills, plains, and rough places. He is Sovereign! And He cares for you!

Be comforted friends as brother Job was and said in Job 16:19 Even now your witness is in heaven; your advocate is on high. 20 your intercessor is your friend as you pour out your fears, heartaches and tears to God.

Shalom!

Today’s Words

Words of affirmation

But I, Joan, am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special girl, that I may proclaim the praises of Christ who called me out of darkness into His marvelous light; I Peter 2:9 NKJV personified

Words of Comfort

Behold, God will not cast away the blameless, Nor will He uphold the evildoers. He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, And your lips with rejoicing. Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, And the dwelling place of the wicked will come to nothing.” Job 8:20‭-‬22 NKJV

Lay It Bare

Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

Meditating on this scripture will help you to take stock of yourself, and be vulnerable before your maker.

Friends, we can fool the smartest person on earth but we cannot, we can never fool God. Whatever is up our sleeves He knows before the thought entered our hearts.

I am doing myself a favor, you should also friends. Let us come boldly to the throne of God – Hebrews 4:16, through the blood of Jesus, to ask for mercy as we lay bare our hearts.

Almighty, All Knowing, All Seeing, All Sufficient, and Only Wise God, we humbly come by the blood of Jesus Christ, we confess our sins, doubts, disbelief, disobedience and present our frailty before you. Help us Lord, and guide us away from the sins that easily beset us.

Have mercy on us Father, and deliver us from all forms of deception with which we have been deceiving eachother, and presumably you our Father.

Grant us the grace Lord to be true, for we have tried of ourselves but have failed time after time. We need your help to really be truthful in all our dealings with eachother, and ultimately you

Lord, to think we can hide anything from you! Psalms 138:7 Where can we go from your presence? Psalms 139:4 Before a word is on my tongue you know it completely, O LORD.

Have mercy and help us Lord!
Thank you Father for for we know you hear us, and as such we know we have answers to what we have asked of you. Be magnified oh Lord in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Secured! God’s Promises!

Despite and inspite of your faithlessness, doubt, and unbelief, the Lord has ordered goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life – Psalms 23:6. Who can annul it?

Sarah laughed at the words of the Lord/ the angels Genesis 18:12.

You may be laughing at the promises, others may be laughing at you holding on when all odds are stacked against you!

I have come to assure you that ALL that was ordained of you before the foundations of the earth was laid shall be fulfilled for this year,  the years ahead, and all the decades earmarked for you!

Somebody should praise the Lord!!!

God will fulfill what His mouth has spoken concerning you despite and inspite, to prove to you and others that He is sovereign and rules in the affairs of man!

As stated in today’s Bible In One Year:

God did not just say once to Abraham that he would have a son. He confirmed it time and time again (Genesis 15:4; 17:16; 18:10).

You can expect God to speak to you about major matters in your life and confirm them many times over.

This is to assure you that His promises are Yeh and Amen. He shall bring it to pass!

Hallelujah! Amen!

Shalom!

Hold On! God’s Working It Out!

2 King 3:16 And he said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘Make this valley full of ditches.’ 17 For thus says the Lord:You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain, yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.18 And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord; He will also deliver the Moabites into your hand.

What then do ditches represent in your life friends? You are in the valley quite alright, why dig ditches? How far down is God taking me you might be asking! What more could go wrong Lord? What are you saying now?! I mean, I am asking for a miracle, the impossible as far as my mind can comprehend, and all you can say is dig ditches? Lord! where are you?

afba9fbf-4610-42d0-9f92-1df026ada848God is right there where you are this moment! Yes! In that car, on the way to that interview, that hallway, your office, underneath that tree, yes, beside you on your bed, in that hospital, the doctors office, on that train, bus wherever  you may be right now.

God is asking you to dig your heels in, stay there, keep believing, keep trusting me, keep holding on, keep doing what you know how to do, don’t quit on me, don’t quit on yourself, put buffers all around you, fortify yourself, help is on the way, hang in there a little more, you are closer to your breakthrough than you can imagine. I am right here with you. I am working it out for you!

Friends, be prepared and expectant to see that desired change you have been praying for. Don’t bother yourself with signs, there ain’t any. “You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’ 18 And this is a simple matter in the sight of the Lord”.

Change is coming to you in that valley, that ditch, whatever your situation and circumstances, if you seek God wholeheartedly in faith, God will step in and make every valley be exalted, mountains and hills made low, the crooked places straight and the rough places smooth. The glory of the Lord shall be revealed in your life and situation, everyone shall see it and glorify God. For as He has spoken, so shall it be. Isaiah 40:4-5

Strategic Plan of the Most High God

Yes! Really? That's great!
Yes! Really? That’s great!

God has a plan for everyone, every event in mankind is strategically planned and ordained. Nothing happens out of place, no happenstance in the agenda of heaven. Read Luke chapter 1

The Sovereign God sent the same angel Gabriel that gave Zachariah the good news about John the baptist to deliver yet another good news to Mary, a teenager, about the Savior of the world Jesus Christ. What has a Prophet, a Pastor in our generation got to do with teenagers? What correlation? How does God choose who he will bless and use we might ask? What are his criteria?

My thought here, probably Elizabeth remained barren until Mary is matured enough to carry a baby, because based on the agenda of heaven God had ordained Mary, even before she was born to be the vessel through whom he will release his beloved son into this world as a being. Elizabeth is ordained to give birth to the Messiah’s forerunner.

Friends, I believe that as I write this and you are reading it, this very moment, things are taking shape in your life and mine that we know nothing about but had been ordained by heaven for our good. God has put strategies in motion to restore unto us those years, opportunities, relationships, health, finances, pregnancies etc that we have lost to the devourer.

The lost blessings are been restored! God planned it all along, hinted us here and there, though we did not acknowledge it, maybe not expecting it either, God is constantly working on your behalf and mine according to the agenda of heaven which is to see us to an expected end where we fulfil our God given destiny. This is amazing!

When you have found favour with God as angel Gabriel told Mary in Luke 1:30, all creation goes into motion to deliver that which the Lord has ordained for you, regardless of your doubt and fear.

The angel quenched the flame of doubt in Mary’s heart by telling her about Elizabeth, she who was said to be unable to conceive is pregnant and in her sixth month. In this present age, our angels are being like us that have been given specific instructions by God based on “The Word” for our good. The bible is your best friend and guide.

What has and is been said about you my friend? The facts of your life and situations? Doubt? None of these can reverse the plan and purpose of God that was set in motion before you were conceived in your mothers womb. You can opt out by outright disobedience, where ever you go, you cannot hide from God. He is everywhere! No word from our God will ever fail.

Why don’t you take a step of faith today? Ask the Lord Jesus to reveal himself to you, you need him, you need the Holy Spirit to guide you into the promises of God, the word of truth. Forsake sin and embrace righteousness of Christ Jesus.

Blessed is she/he who has believed that the Lord would fulfil his promises to her/him.

Jesus is Lord!

Shalom!
