Life’s Test: Pain, Loss, Heartaches

When a man suffers misfortune, and loss, that is when you really know who your friends truly are. And how Christianly many speaks but do not act! Many will say very unkind words to you, treat you unkindly, gather others around them to speak more evil of you. And spread untruth about your situation!

Salt will be added to your injuries. This is the experience of brother Job, and many brothers and sisters even today.

Job 16:19 Even now my witness is in heaven; my advocate is on high. 20 My intercessor is my friend as my eyes pour out tears to God;

“The very same God that spins things in orbit
Runs to the weary, the wern and the weak
And the same gentle hands that hold me when I’m broken
They conquered death to bring me victory”

Test will come in life. Our faith, love and hope in the Lord will be tested! This is a guarantee, however my prayer for you is that you will not sin against God in your speech. Don’t lose faith!

Brother Job knew he was blameless, he could not understand why what happened to him happened, yet he had hope in God. But his friends? They were a whole lot different from what he expected. No word of encouragement or comfort but accusations.

This here sounds more like Job thinking, trying to justify what is happening to him, finding no cause, and must have blurted out Job 16:17 yet my hands have been free of violence and my prayer is pure. I mean Lord! You know me! Why all these?

Brothers and sisters suffering any kind of loss, heartaches, or contrariness of life. Please note that God is Sovereign, He knows what you are going through and He will give you respite.

I pray God’s strength be made manifest in your weakness. May His love envelope you. May the light of His countenance warm your heart. God is God on the mountain, as He is God on the valley, hills, plains, and rough places. He is Sovereign! And He cares for you!

Be comforted friends as brother Job was and said in Job 16:19 Even now your witness is in heaven; your advocate is on high. 20 your intercessor is your friend as you pour out your fears, heartaches and tears to God.

YOU ARE THE CHURCH; SO AM I!

You are the Church built not by human hands. I Joan, I am also the Church, built not by human hands! Acts 7:48. Christ Jesus lives within us by His Holy Spirit.

You and I ought to be able to see ourself in the Scriptures. The Spirit of the living God takes up residence in us as believers.

You should have the witness of the Holy Spirit confirming with your Spirit that you are the child of God, and joint heirs with Christ Jesus!

Romans 8:16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

Be infused with the Holy Spirit.

Please put your name in the below verses of scriptures and read it aloud. Meditate on it! Let it go into your subconscious mind! Believe this👇👇 truth friends!  

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you (I,Joan) who once were far away have been brought near through the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our (My) peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, 15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations. 1 Peter 2:4 As you come to him, the living Stone–rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him–5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

I just have to say it out loud again: my assurance and confidence booster.

The above scriptures assures me and it should assure you also that you are in good hands. You are in God’s hand being built up, everything about you is dynamic, growing, metamorphosing, transforming, becoming who you were before the foundation of the world was laid. Wow!

A Living Heart! A Gift!

Luke 16:27“He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.29″Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them. 30″‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent. 31″He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'”

Do you know that, that someone did rise from the dead, and yet many still do not believe!!!

Friends, if you believe that Christ Jesus came walked this earth, died, and rose up, and is seated at the right hand of the Most High God, you should give God some praise.

Many people’s minds are blinded, cannot hear, see or perceive this great but simple truth!

Father in your mercy let every Vail shrouding people’s minds from receiving the simple truth of your Word be removed in Jesus mighty name!

Amen!

Words And Action For Change!

David was anointed in 1 Samuel 16, however, until he strategically faced Goliath in 1 Samuel 17 in defence of the armies of the Most High God, he did not come to lime light.

1 Samuel 17 David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.” When Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, “Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.” “Now what have I done?” said David. “Can’t I even speak?”
1 Samuel 17:26‭-‬29 NIV

Now to the new testament.
Paul heard the slave girl prophecy by divination, declaring Paul and his party as servants of God for many days, until he spoke the evil spirit did not keep quiet!

Acts 16:16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her. When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities.
Acts 16:16‭-‬19 NIV

You need to take strategic and calculated action for the manifestation of that which you desire and is yours as promised – Victory over every issues defying the Word of God in your life.

You only have to speak the right word at the right time and occasion to effect the change you desire like Paul.

Be bold, be confident, be discerning, and understand that the keys to waging war and ultimate victory may sometimes be obscured by your misconceptions, therefore, receive clarity in the place of prayer.

Secured! God’s Promises!

Despite and inspite of your faithlessness, doubt, and unbelief, the Lord has ordered goodness and mercy to follow you all the days of your life – Psalms 23:6. Who can annul it?

Sarah laughed at the words of the Lord/ the angels Genesis 18:12.

You may be laughing at the promises, others may be laughing at you holding on when all odds are stacked against you!

I have come to assure you that ALL that was ordained of you before the foundations of the earth was laid shall be fulfilled for this year,  the years ahead, and all the decades earmarked for you!

Somebody should praise the Lord!!!

God will fulfill what His mouth has spoken concerning you despite and inspite, to prove to you and others that He is sovereign and rules in the affairs of man!

As stated in today’s Bible In One Year:

“God did not just say once to Abraham that he would have a son. He confirmed it time and time again (Genesis 15:4; 17:16; 18:10).

You can expect God to speak to you about major matters in your life and confirm them many times over.“

This is to assure you that His promises are Yeh and Amen. He shall bring it to pass!

Hallelujah! Amen!

Anchored!

Mark 6:53-56 When they crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. As soon as they got out of the boat people recognized Jesus. They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever he went – into villages, towns or countryside – they placed the sick in the marketplace. … ALL WHO TOUCHED IT WERE HEALED

Friends, Jesus is everywhere and anywhere you call His name. He has anchored in your backyard, front yard and in your heart! He is at that troubled office, home, congregation, conglomerate etc

Will you call upon His name today for the salvation of your soul? Healing of your body, and emotions? Will you call on Him who is able to restore your marriage, career, ministry, ………. and self esteem?

Reach out in faith friends, He is nearer than you think!

Bleeding! Male and Female!

Mark 5:25 And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years. 26 She had suffered a great deal under the care of many doctors and had spent all she had, yet instead of getting better she grew worse. 27 When she heard about Jesus, she came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, 28 because she thought, “If I just touch his clothes, I will be healed.” 29 Immediately her bleeding stopped and she felt in her body that she was freed from her suffering.

Like this woman, many of us, male and female are bleeding where eyes cannot see. We are bleeding in our hearts, and have tried many remedies but none have been able to cure us. We have seen many doctors, counselors, we have bent backwards and forward just to ease the pain but still no remedies. We have done all that we know and are still hurting!

Oh, how my heart bleeds due to betrayal, pain of lost companions, marriages, yours may be pregnancies after pregnancies, financial loss, grief, lonesomeness. Oh, how some of us have bleed out of all the relationships we have ever known. Our parents and siblings kept away from us, restricted, at best at arms lent for so many years.

We have worked on ourselves to somehow be accepted, approved, allowed, accommodated, but still bleeding, no remedies. We can hardly have a loved one around us. The stench of our conditions keeps them away. No one want to be seen near us, many do not want to be associated with us. Our hearts are bleeding! Lord! Will you please heal this we have cried?

And we want that loving touch, we crave the companionship, relationship, we do not want to be alone, but this blood! Pain? Hurts? Loss? The life blood, the essence of life, dripping away, weakening our hearts, our purse. We do not want to drift to oblivion so we seek out one last solution for we have heard and faith has arisen in us. Mark 5:28

Here comes Jesus friends, the solution bearer. He can heal every hurting heart. He can touch you where no other hand can go. He is ever present, ever faithful, always constant, he never sleeps, he never slumbers, only him can stop the bleeding, the pain deep within. Trust him and reach out!

Friends, we do need to reach out in faith to touch the helm of His garment. Mark 5:27

Some of us need to believe in love again! 🙂 There are still good people out there trust me! 🙂 I mean, I believe so!

Whatever ailment we have, there is healing, solution to our hurting heart, body, relationship, pocket, and much more.

Lord Jesus we reach out to you in faith today. We stretch out our hands to touch your garment, please heal us, stop this blood, you know what blood we are all talking about. You know where we all are bleeding from. That pain no one knows about, and the ones everyone knows about, heal it all Father in Jesus name.

Thank you Lord Jesus!

Controlling Others Is Idolatry! = Witchcraft!

Control: Just Jesus Devotional
“Control” as the world recognizes it, is a word not found in the Bible because God doesn’t use it. He doesn’t need to use force nor inflict His will on anyone. God is a Gentleman.

The devil uses control as force. This kind of control is rooted in fear and deceit. Even though God is in control, He does not exert control. He operates from a position of authority.

When you are in difficult circumstances, don’t ever believe the lie that the devil is in control. When you feel fear, wanting to control is a natural reaction.

Trying to control people or circumstances is idolatry. Don’t put yourself on God’s throne. Learn to let God’s love replace fear.

Use healthy self-control. Fear robs you of choice, but you have options. Being aware of your position of authority precipitates the power of choice.

Don’t try to control. Choose to use your God-given authority. You will feel strong and confident as you respond instead of react.

Memory Verse

“Allow it now, for this is the fitting way for us to fulfill all righteousness.” Matthew 3:15.

True Self! Be Authentic!

By this time the crowd, unwieldy and stepping on each other’s toes, numbered into the thousands.

But Jesus’ primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, “Watch yourselves carefully so you don’t get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness.

You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. You can’t hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known.

You can’t whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day’s coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.
