Competition Steals JOY

Be very careful of competition! It will always deprive you of joy and happiness in what is already yours!

Do you know that no one else is like you, walks like you, talk like you, or can evoke an effect as you in the lives of the people in your life, or in any gathering!

Depravity of the mind can be cured! Seek healing!

You have your own aura, and no amount of negativity can affect that!

If you have to compete, do so with the version of who you were yesterday! Be better, do better, and be authentic!

Be conscious that there are people competing with you that you don’t even know about! Many are not happy with their lot in life!

Be civil! Stay focused! Love all! Hate no one! Watch who you allow to come close, stay close, and embrace!

Be smart! Remain joyful, and let your light shine!

Shalom!

Sight! Village! Past!

Mark 8:22-25 I often wonder why Jesus acted the way he acted many times in the Scriptures! Why take a blind man out of the most familiar place he knows?

To see afresh? Maybe see differently! Or, probably Christ took him out of the village because it was the “village” that clouded his eyes?

Jesus also warned the blind man not to go back to the “village”! Jesus did not want him to broadcast him that I understand, but I also think it means more.

I don’t know what village means to you, but for me, it means, don’t go back to being blind to your status in Christ Jesus, acting small to fit in, staying in that box, devaluing yourself, doubting the power at work in you and much more!

Some of us have been delivered from Spiritual blindness, this is a warning not to go back into ignorance. Don’t look back at the past longingly friends, there is nothing back there for you!

Move forward in the capability of the Most High God! You can see now, don’t pretend you can’t! Shine your light and let the world see that great things Christ has done!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Tell It To The King! What Ails You?

Just wondering! How many Naaman’s do we meet daily? How many of us are like Naaman? I mean, we do not have leprosy, thanks be to God! We however have somethings like leprosy, be it an ailment of the heart, mind, body, financial, relational, career wise, that thorn, or that which bounds, a burden, limiting us in one way or another.

No one knows about this ailment for we have mastered concealing it over time. It is visible even to ourselves only when no one else is present. 2 Kings 5:1 Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy.

How could Naaman have conducted himself, such that no one in the battalion of soldiers and high ranking officers, and the King of the land himself without any hint?

It seems only his wife and the young slave girl knew that this powerful man had leprosy. God must have hidden this from all but few!  How could Naaman be leprose and it is not readily vicible? Not even under his armour, a piece of flesh giving his secret away!

And the slave girl! Well, one day she had to take the wash basin into the bosses quarters. She thought she heard the master beckon her come in, in response to her knock! Alas, there she stood frozen, face to face with the Master just few steps apart!

Her Master! Leprose? It can’t be! Blinking, for her mind was somersaulting within her chest, really! Master! What ails you? She must have asked with compassion! This compassion did not go unnoticed by Naaman, even in the midst of his embarrassment. Compassion from a heart filled with love! Compassion was what stopped her from been sent to an early grave.

To the many that have stumbled in over the years into the masters quarters, they never lived to tell the tale. Many were  shocked when the executioner came for them, silenced forever from revealing what brought tragedy their way when the blade fell!

This girl from Israel! She saw a man burdened, and in need of a cure! Her Master, nice and always joking around with the little children whenever he was home. The best slave Master in the entire area. Many slaves pray their master will send them over to help for a little while in Naaman’s yard whenever he is hosting the soldiers.

Just one night at Naaman’s house and off to war! Many are prone to wish. Better die a gallant than live as a worthless slave treated worst than an animal.

Friends, what does Naaman’s leprosy represent in your life? God forbid any disease or infirmities in your quarters in Jesus mighty name. What is that thing, that thorn in your flesh, visible to you, yet not unto others? What has bound you, while you walk like a freeman in the society?

What is that thing? That issue, hidden in our hearts eating us away? Broken heart? Broken dreams? Worry? Unforgivess? Insecurity? Greed? Anger? Pride? Envy, and jealousy , amongst many vices.

Tell it to the King friends! As this slave girl faced her master, his shoulder slumped for a twinkle of an eye and the many years of military training set in, and he uttered, tell no one” as he picked up his robe and walked out unto the patio overlooking the lake.

This girl gingerly positioned the water basin well on its stand and walked back out, but she never forgot what she saw. Since that day she looks at her Master differently, her compassion ultimately spoke to Madam Master and the rest is history! 2 Kings 5:3 She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.”

Speak to the King friends! Your healing, deliverance, upliftment, provision, understanding, wisdom, increase, joy, peace, marriage, relationship, and all that you could ever want, most especially, eternal life, is a reach away! Speak to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Alpha, and Omega!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

The Healing Word

Excerpt from The Healing Word – Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye

1 John 1:8-9 says:

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Beloved, the above scripture is the healing word that the Lord is sending to you today, irrespective of the number of years you have spent in your walk with Him.

Do you believe it?

The healing we are talking of today is not only physical; it is also spiritual, material, financial, marital, intellectual, and all-encompassing.

In whatever you are need healing today, by the word of the Lord I say to you, be healed in Jesus’ mighty Name.

No Stopping Him! The River Walk

In the many signs and wonders in my own life that I have witnessed, I know for sure that there is no stopping me.Christ is still working miracle through this earthen vessel. I remember almost 15 years ago, I had just had a baby, and in my six weeks postpartum it was discovered that I had a mass. I was scheduled for an ultrasound but before the scheduled day, I was rushed with severe pain into surgery, I couldn’t sign a waiver myself, my brother in law did. It was scary for they had found ovarian cyst on both ovaries pushing against every organ sending excruciating pain all over.

It was a terrible time but what follows can only be the hand of Jesus Christ of Nazareth at work. An ovary was removed and the other left to give me an opportunity to have more children should I want more. Friends, this was in Columbus, Ohio! I kept praying that God was able to replace that ovary and He did. Ask me how? Years after in Canada, I went to different hospitals and did several scan and no one believed my story of an ovary been removed, though the scars are there. Jesus had replaced it Himself. The recreative power of God at work in me. I have since gone through a lot of health scares and Christ Jesus kept proving Himself time and time again as my healer. Hormonal imbalance that would have stopped others having their monthly’s kept my cycle on schedule. I am indeed a wonder! The Lord has been very good!

Friends, as long as there is breath in your nostrils know that the Lord is at work in you. Fight the good fight of faith and give no room to the devil and his agents. They abound everywhere, to discourage and malign the presence of God in your life. Resist and stand fast for a notable miracle is been done in and through you. Look back and you’ll realize, you have really come along way. Rejoice friends and be glad, YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE!

Many of the people who were with Mary believed in Jesus when they saw this happen. But some went to the Pharisees and told them what Jesus had done. Then the leading priests and Pharisees called the high council together. “What are we going to do?” they asked each other. “This man certainly performs many miraculous […]
