Joel 2: 26, for example, says “And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.” How deep do you believe this promise?

Faulty Structure Reined In! Holy Spirit!

I was praying yesterday and I blurted out some words that made me start thinking about what I was actually saying! You know like, “where did that come from?”.

It was a personal prayer about this and that. Just having fellowship with my Father and then I was led to touch on some other stuff, which led to this prayer:

Father every structure that has been put in place by the devil in and around the hearts of men and women, around and in the body of believers that is mitigating against your plan and purpose to bring in much more people into the sheepfold, let such structure be destroyed today in Jesus mighty name. You stated in Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Whatever is not of you in and around me, and all must come down Lord!

Like the wall of Jericho fell down flat – Joshua 6:20, Hebrew 11:30, Oh Lord, every invincible barrier mounted to keep as many as you have called to possess the gift of Salvation, may those walls fall down flat in Jesus name. Every wall, every barrier standing between your breakthrough in all areas of your life must come down in Jesus mighty name.

Every plant that you have not planted in and around your body, the body of believers, Father Lord, let it be uprooted in Jesus name.

Then I thought about what I was saying and realized that, while men slept, the enemy came in and sowed tares Matthew 13:24-30. Tares of disharmony, hatred, greed, pride, anger, jealousy, envy, distrust, suspicion, confusion, and all sort of evil, so much so that in order to “protect ourselves” we think, that is, maintain the status quo, we build walls to take charge, to be in control, thereby relegating the Holy Spirit to the back bench of our life. We go ahead many times, ignore and sideline the Will of the Father many a time.

Every tare, every error, lies – deception of the enemy, sown into my life, family, local assembly, denomination and the entire Church of the living God, be uprooted in Jesus name. Holy Spirit have your way, take the rein of my life, our life, family, Church, move like never before in Jesus name. Let thy kingdom come Oh Lord!

There are so many tares in your life and mine if we want to be honest about it. There is stuff that we would rather do without that is holding on, weighing down, hindering, limiting our highest self in living and breathing Christ. Many are destined to be an evangelist, pastors, missionary, God’s battle ax, but are unable to reach even their own family for Christ this moment. Why so? Why? While we were unaware, thinking we had everything under control, reined in, the enemy planted trees, shrubs, and the likes to distract us and ruin our testimony.

Will you go to the Lord in prayer today and ask Jesus to step in and touch every area of your life? Ask for forgiveness! Forgiveness of thinking you can hold the rein and be led by the Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus forgive me and my friends for every form of unrighteousness in our thoughts, words, and actions, in what we have done and those we have failed to do. Please, Lord, we welcome you into our hearts, our lives, have your way in us. Take the rein Father, and lead us to do that which is of your great pleasure we pray in Jesus mighty name. Thank you, Lord, for answers for we know you have heard our sincere cry for help. Be magnified Oh Lord.

Tested! He Watches Over You!

Like Charles Spurgeon said, “God had one Son without sin, but He never had a Son without sorrow, and He never will while the world stands”. Life is filled with ups and downs and it is all for the purpose of our transformation. We are tested in every way, especially in the area of our greatest strength, yes, our greatest strength. You see friends, we often pride ourselves that there are some things that can never catch us unaware. We’ve put some guards in place and all sort, and then something out of the ordinary happens and we are like, what…. what was that?

faith You see friends, our dependency must be in God always and not in our own strength. Many times over and over we will fail, if we depend on our own strength for we have none. We assume we do because we have not been tested in that particular area. When we boast thereof, then trials will come to tempt us, to prove to us that we have no strength, except the strength of Christ Jesus bestowed on us. “And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me” 2 Corinthians 12:9.

struggle Life will happen and only with the eyes of understanding, enlightened by the love of God, will we be able to see the hand of God in every detail of our life. We are, as God’s children been transformed from glory to glory through diverse means – trials, tribulations, and temptations more than the period of calmness. ” Embrace the suck” (to borrow from “3375F.com) lovingly I would say for Christ is with you all the way! Psalms 121 : 3 He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber; ⁴indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. ⁵The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; ⁶the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. ⁷The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; ⁸the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Psalms 40:1 I waited patiently for the Lord;

Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

Whisper! Still Small Voice!

The bush was burning and it was not consumed Moses realized. He stopped, drew closer and watched!

move closer Exodus 3: 1 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. ²And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. ³Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”⁴So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”And he said, “Here I am.”

Have you stopped to wonder why the bush was burning and it was not consumed? How about the red sea, it parted for Israel to pass through and it overtook their adversary that followed in pursuit to harm them. It drowned every single chariot of Pharaoh. Have you stopped to wonder why all that is taking place, happening in your life, family, community, Church, nation and the world is happening? Think for a moment!!!

I was just wondering, could it be that God wants to get your attention with the bush burning but not consumed! The storm raging and yet the angel of the Lord appeared to Paul in the midst of it! An angel in a ship tossed to and fro? How can that be? Acts 27:23 For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, ²⁴saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you.’ ²⁵Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it was told me.

What is God trying to tell you? Are you listening? God speaks, please listen friends to the still small voice. Don’t be compelled, seek Him now while He may be found! Humble yourself under the mighty arm of God and lean not on your own understanding! Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; ⁶In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.

Jesus loves you and wants an intimate relationship with you. Yes you! Will you yield yourself today? Come to the throne of grace to obtain mercy.

Prayer To God In Time of Trouble

Psalm 43

¹Declare me innocent, O God!
    Defend me against these ungodly people.
    Rescue me from these unjust liars.
²For you are God, my only safe haven.
    Why have you tossed me aside?
Why must I wander around in grief,
    oppressed by my enemies?
³Send out your light and your truth;
    let them guide me.
Let them lead me to your holy mountain,
    to the place where you live.
⁴There I will go to the altar of God,
    to God—the source of all my joy.
I will praise you with my harp,
    O God, my God!

⁵Why am I discouraged?
    Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
    I will praise him again—
    my Savior and my God!

Promises of God! It is Eternal!

The Everlasting Father, the immovable rock of ages, the one that was, is and is to come. Be magnified!

Friends, what has the Lord spoken about you? What has He spoken to your heart through the scriptures?

What have you heard? Is it aligned with God’s? No? Trash it right away! Trash it! Hold unto what God has spoken to your heart from His Word. Don’t allow tares into your mind, uproot it daily and water the good seed of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

The greatest battle won I heard is one won in the terrain of our minds. Hold unto your confession of faith. Let the Word of God be your standard, not what the world and others say about you. What does God say about you in His Word- Jesus Christ? Yes! That is who you are! Turn around and firmly rebuke every tongue speaking contrary to God’s promises for your life and move on with grace and assurance of God’s faithfulness.

Be courageous, do not fear, you have the backing of the Most High God. You will not sink, Jesus is your anchor. Move on to greater height one step at a time as directed. You will reach your destination! The Everlasting Father will guide you by the light of his countenance. You will not fail, fall, nor falter. You are an over-comer! A champion! A victor. God’s dearest sons and daughters loved unconditionally
