Faith, Trust, And Assurance!

Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty. The Lord has spoken once, twice you should hear, power belongs unto the Lord – Psalms 62:11. The power that raised Christ from the dead is available to quicken you to accomplish all that the Lord has purposed for you.

Radiant Glory Of Love

Do you have faith in God friends?

seek the LordHow great is your faith in the promises of God for your life as contained in the scripture? Joel 2: 26, for example, says “And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.” How deep do you believe this promise?

Manoah in the book of Judges had a wife who was not able to give birth as stated in Chapter 13. One day, out of the blues His wife came and told him about a visitation from a man giving them a promise of a son. The man came to Manoah’s wife but not him, yet when Manoah went to the Lord in prayer, it was not about God confirming His word by the mouth of two or three. He was…

Guard And Shield!!!

Zechariah 12: A prophecy: The word of the Lord concerning Israel. Concerning You And I.

The Lord, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares:“I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness,” declares the Lord. “I will keep a watchful eye over Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. Then the clans of Judah will say in their hearts, ‘The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the Lord Almighty is their God.’

“On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a fire pot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.

“The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.

Friends, the Lord is faithful that promised. Never again will an oppressor overrun you, the Lord will fight against all that fights against you. The Lord is your shield, He will not let it be unto you according to the desires of the wicked. The Most High God will defend you. As many as rise up against you will fall for your sake. The serpent will bite its own tail. Trust ye in the Lord for your safety is in Him alone. The blood of Jesus Christ speaks still!!!!!

Distraction Inevitable! Be Focused!

2 Kings 2:1 And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.” But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

d699e496-7c38-4b1e-9a8c-2c01f114d5afFriends, as you are working hard to take hold of your blessing, trying to focus on your goal, distractions will come in form of the facts of your life, it will stare you in the face. Situation, circumstances, well meaning people and not so well meaning ones will harmer on the facts of your life to distract and discourage you from your goal. You will be made jest off, your own perceived inadequacies will threaten your peace. You might second guess your ability to cope and be efficient in carrying out your task, fulfilling destiny.

Your master, covering, mentor, those things that gives you balance and stability, when they are taken away or been threatened to be taken away causes distraction. It most often makes you to lose focusing on God wholeheartedly to bring to pass His good pleasure in your life according to Philippians 2:13.  You have to learn to sift through all these and hold unto that which is needful, focus on the author and finisher of your faith – Jesus.

This was Elisha’s experience in 2 Kings 2:3 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”…..5 Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?” So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

There will be those also who are not helping you with encouragement, neither are distracting you in anyway except as prying eyes, watching your every movement, waiting to see you fall, fail or falter like in 2 Kings 2:7 And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan.

Friends, you have to be sure and committed totally with faith to your calling. Distractions will come from everywhere once you start following your goal, distractions from places you least expect, please learn to stay true to yourself. Keep your destiny in sight, focus on Jesus Christ. What has the Lord shown you? What has He said in the scriptures? Trust those words as revealed unto you. It will be as the Lord has said. He is able that promised.

Shalom
