Your Choice! The Word! Scarcity! Heaven Or Hell?

Amos 8:11“The days are coming,” declares the Sovereign LORD, “when I will send a famine through the land–not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the LORD.8:12Men will stagger from sea to sea and wander from north to east, searching for the word of the LORD, but they will not find it.

Friends, does it not seem like that time is now?

The Word of God is not really scarce, just that it’s been watered down, and twisted to soothe our every whim.

How often have you and I heard a sermon about having a pure heart, living right before God and man, being kind, helping the poor, looking out for other brethren, being truthful, standing for fairness, justice, and so on?

When was the last time I heard or speak anything about heaven and hell? Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔!

The Word of God is not only about what we can get from God in this life like prosperity – material possessions, wealth creation and gathering, getting married and staying married, being fruitful in our bodies, etcetera, but how we are supposed to live, to be a light that shines in darkness and darkness cannot comprehend it!

Now is the time to desire the sincere milk of the Word of God 1 Peter 2:2 so we can grow past give me this and that, to God make me a vessel of honour in your hands, use me to quench someones thirst, and change the trajectory of situations in my community, let me be your hands and feet to seek the lost and downtrodden, use me for your glory Lord, make me your battle axe with which to dismantle and crush every structure you have not built in the heart of your kingdom, make me a beckon of hope for the hopeless, a voice for the voiceless.

Use me Lord, use us for your glory we ask in Jesus mighty name. Amen

We have to step away from the transactional gospel a little to see beyond our horizon and ask, if am called home today, where exactly is home? I know no one likes talking of going home but the fact remains that we all will one day. That is One day we do not know about! Should we not prepare in advance and trust that Christ will welcome us as He promised?

Heaven or hell? Where will it be friends?

You have the opportunity to make amends today. Ask the Lord to help you. I am also asking for me and mine! We all need help and grace to stay true to the confession of our faith and walk therein in spirit and in truth, glorifying God.

Father we ask for grace to live right before you with eternity as our focus. Take our eyes off the transient and laser focus us on the immortal we ask in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Free To Lead!

Psalms 37:23 The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord; and He delight in his way.

Therefore, for you and I:

▪️We will not miss our way this year

▪️We will not depart from the path of righteousness

Also, because we have the mind of Christ – 1 Corinthians 2:16

▪️We shall not be confuse

▪️We shall always be attune with heaven

The Lord is our burden bearer- Matthew 11:28 and, we have been instructed to “Look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith – Hebrews 12:2 Therefore;

▪️ We shall not be weighed down by anything whatsoever

▪️Our heads shall not be bowed down in anyway whatsoever this new year and decade in Jesus mighty name

We have been set free to live a life that is worthy of the call of God – Ephesians 4:1

Mind Governed By Flesh! Death!

What is governing my mind? What is governing yours friends? We do need to examine ourselves regularly so we are not deceived by the deceitfulness of sin.

It is so easy to be carried away with activities that nourish our flesh, our ego, while neglecting the concerns of God, his people, and choice possession.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation – but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. 13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die? But if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will live. 14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. Romans 8:12-14

We must live and breathe to please God by faith. A heart governed by the Spirit is not about self-aggrandizement but humble, modest, and selfless!

Father, you are our center, our hedges, boundaries, our all! Let us reduce that Christ may increase in us I pray in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Insight From The Eyes Of An Outsider Like You!

Hello friends, here are some things I want you to know from the book of Galatian.

Paul is not an apostle through man, but of God Galatians 1:1. Christ Jesus gave himself up for our sins so that he might deliver us from this present evil age- vs 4. If you live to please men, you cannot be a bondservant, a follower of Christ Jesus – vs 10. That means you cannot serve or follow anyone outside of Christ Jesus.

speak truth When Paul received the gospel by revelation through Jesus Christ, he did not confer with any man – vs 12. Instead- vs 16, Paul immediately went on evangelizing just like the Samaritan woman in John 4: 5-30 at the well with Jesus. After the encounter with Jesus, she went into the city inviting the whole city to come and meet with Jesus Christ.

What have you been doing since your encounter with the Lord Jesus? How many people, city have you invited to meet with Jesus Christ? We often wait for validation, ordination, and all the protocol and traditions of men endlessly. In the scriptures, every encounter with Christ Jesus broke protocols. It made a bold evangelist out of the most unlikely individuals – John 4, In Mark 5:19 Christ himself said, in response to the madman of Gadara, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.

character Therefore, make sure to be led by revelation, by the Holy Spirit – Galatians 2:2. And be cautious of false brethren, fake Christians who act as a spy: looking for information to blackmail you, to bring you into bondage. Your freedom in Christ Jesus is of concern to them. They will rather prefer you in bondage for their own selfish gain- vs 4.

Do not yield to their distractions, but continue with your work – vs 5. Those puffed up due to their position or whatever need not intimidate you. Stand your ground and you will see that they will come to accept the grace of God upon your life. ” The Lord shows no favouritism to no man”. His grace is available to all – Galatians 6:6

Anyone concerned about the Kingdom of God perceiving the grace of God upon your life should extend to you a hand of fellowship. If they do not, you should know then, that they are definitely not building the Kingdom of God, but their own personal Kingdom –Galatians 2:9

You are not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Believing in Christ Jesus justify you! No flesh shall be justified by the works of the law – Galatians 2:16

Galatians 2:20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. ²¹I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

Live then as unto Christ Jesus!

Maturity Makes A Model!

Philippians 3:15All of us, then, who are mature should take such a view of things. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. ¹⁶Only let us live up to what we have already attained. (Let us live by the truth we already know)

¹⁷Join together in following my example, (Pauls) brothers and sisters, and just as you have the apostles us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do (authentic believers).¹⁸For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. ¹⁹Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. ²⁰But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, ²¹who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

When you mature in your faith, living the Word, without any false righteousness, you will inadvertently become a role model. Others will see your authenticity, weakness, faith, vulnerability and all without guile.

The world needs more of such!

Living Right Once Saved Is Wisdom!

Zechariah 8:14This is what the Lord Almighty says: “Just as I had determined to bring disaster on you and showed no pity when your ancestors angered me,” says the Lord Almighty, ¹⁵“so now I have determined to do good again to Jerusalem and Judah. Do not be afraid. ¹⁶These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; ¹⁷do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the Lord.

living right Our sin and those of our ancestors brought ill into our lives. The Lord was angry with us, yet He sent his only begotten son to die for us to reconcile us back to him, for we were alienated from Him. Colossians 1:21 Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. ²²But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

Therefore, “Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; ¹⁷do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this,” declares the Lord.

Ephesians 2:1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, ²in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. ³All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. ⁴But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, ⁵made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

Depart from everything evil!

Proverbs 4:14

Do not set foot on the path of the wicked
    or walk in the way of evildoers.
¹⁵Avoid it, do not travel on it;
    turn from it and go on your way.
¹⁶For they cannot rest until they do evil;
    they are robbed of sleep till they make someone stumble.
¹⁷They eat the bread of wickedness
    and drink the wine of violence.

¹⁸The path of the righteous is like the morning sun,
shining ever brighter till the full light of day.
¹⁹But the way of the wicked is like deep darkness;
they do not know what makes them stumble.

²⁰My son, pay attention to what I say;
    turn your ear to my words.

    keep them within your heart;
²²for they are life to those who find them
    and health to one’s whole body.
²³Above all else, guard your heart,
    for everything you do flows from it.

    keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

    fix your gaze directly before you.

Decoding Impossibility!!!

A tamed 500 pounds Gorilla ridden like a horse into town is unheard of and dangerous in itself. However, if the rider notices a change in the tamed Gorilla, common sense would warrant him/her to return back to a safe zone- the environment where the Gorilla was tamed right.

decoding-taming In taming any animal, the animal is conditioned by reward for an expected action in a controlled environment over time since its usually done from birth. Riding a full grown Gorilla then to an uncontrolled environment with pointers strewed over reminding the Gorilla of how it was tamed is probably not a good ideal.

This is what happened in this story. A gorilla was rode on all four into town. Everyone was in awe, it was a spectacle. Everything was in order and the rider was having fun until, she/he sees what the Gorilla sees. Every iron bar is a reminder of captivity, a chain lock by a school ground reminds of restraint. The rider consciously guided this 500 pound mass away from the play ground. In an alley way, there was a barred container jolting memories long dormant but the rider saw this also and gently guided this mass away from wrecking havoc should instinct take over that moment.

decoding-impossibility When safely out of this populated area, just in the border of the controlled environment the scientist came and brought out a chain to restrain so they can give a dose of medic to the Gorilla, bringing out a chain lock, like that used to secure a bike. The rider warns the scientist seeing the look on the face of the Gorilla. It was almost like it got an ha ha moment.

This 500 pound mass just acquired a form of intelligence that cannot be tamed. It stood up and sat like human with the human trying to inject serum to kill this new sight just received so close to an uncontrolled environment. Can you imagine what will happen if this mass breaks loose. The residence and schools unguarded? What is about to take place leaves no room for guess work?

Nobody has ever tamed a Gorilla in the true sense for they are intelligent and powerful, however in a stroke of chance, if you find any tamed, I guess threading with caution will be a good idea right?

What does this mean I pondered!! What does this spectacle mean? What possible out come can be envisioned? Is this even ever possible? Please comment!!!!!! Your response will help in deciphering this message!!!!

Living For God?

Brothers and sisters, the harvest as our Lord said is plenty and the laborers few. We are in a season of desperation clothed in calmness. People are afraid, confused and heavily burdened. Desire for the things of God that many saved soul had before are waning. The signs are there telling us there is change coming our way. Are we prepared? When the Lord comes will He find faith on the earth?.

This is a call to redeem the times for the days are evil! This is the hour to look inward and act outwardly doing the will of God as contained in His Word. What has God entrusted into your hands? By all means do what you are called to do regardless of physical and spiritual obstacles. Our God is faithful that promised He will never leave nor forsake us. Praise God with all your mind and heart in spirit and in truth, publicly and privately. Let Christ praise saturate your being. Are you called to teach? Then teach, and so on.

Do everything to the glory of God the Father. One thing we have all been called to do is to preach the gospel to every nation baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We’ve also been charged to pray God’s kingdom come and His will be done on earth – life, marriage, family, Church, city and so on as it is in heaven. Let us faithfully live the Word. May we all really be an epistle that others will read and come to the light of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is Lord!!!!
