Heartbeat of God!

i-have-put-my-heart-near-your-heart

Micah 6: 8 He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
    And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
    and to walk humbly with your God.

Psalms 45:3 Gird your sword on your side, you mighty one;
    clothe yourself with splendor and majesty.
In your majesty ride forth victoriously
    in the cause of truth, humility and justice;
    let your right hand achieve awesome deeds.
Let your sharp arrows pierce the hearts of the king’s enemies;
    let the nations fall beneath your feet.

Gods Anointed!!!Love!

Romans 13:9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

john-donne-fear-god (1)Love for God, for yourself and for your neighbor, plus most importantly the fear of God will keep you from harm’s way. In 1 Samuel 24:1- end. David had an opportunity which he failed to utilise. Why? You might ask! He feared the Lord more than the desire to see God’s promises fulfilled in His life. David knew God was more than able to fulfill His divine plan in his life and thus did not take matters into his own hands to avenge himself.

1 Samuel 24:4 Then the men of David said to him. ” This is the day of which the Lord said to you. ” Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to hims as it seems good to you'” And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe. 5 Now it happened afterward that David’s heart troubled him because he had cut Saul’s robe. 6 And he said to his men, “The Lord Forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.”So David restrained his servants with these words, and did not allow them to rise against Saul. And Saul got up from the cave and went on his way.

The fear of God and love in his heart prevented David from avenging himself which would have cost him dearly. You see my friends, God’s word is ever true and sure. 1 Chronicles 16:21- 23 He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes,
22 Saying,Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm. The Lord repeated this also in Psalms 105:14 He permitted no one to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, 15 Saying,Do not touch My anointed ones, And do My prophets no harm.” It is written in the scriptures also, that once has he spoken, twice have I heard that power belongs to God. When God then speaks twice, you would do yourself a favor to hear a thousand times. “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm sayest the Lord of Host!!!!!!

Who then is God’s anointed? Pastors, Evangelist, the Pharisees and Sadducees of old? Not at all friends! God’s anointed were the children of Israel, the seeds of Abraham His friend, God’s chosen ones, His special people, you and I, either you are a Pastor, missionary, Bishop or gatekeeper, once you are born again, redeemed by God’s only begotten son Jesus Christ blood, you are God’s anointed. David was a shepherd boy been groomed to sit on the throne just as Saul was anointed as King over Israel. Do you get it friends? You and I are anointed regardless of your status presently. Do yourself a favor and start seeing every Christ beloved as anointed and treated likewise. It will make a lot of difference in the way you live your Christian life, working out your salvation with fear and trembling, pleasing God all the way to eternity.

Lord I pray for my friends and I in Jesus name to see each other through your eyes. To love, cherish and honor your grace in each others lives as we journey together fulfilling your purpose. Lord, may we not sin against you in our thoughts, words and action towards each other. May we Lord not be a stumbling block on each others path. May we not as a result of discernment use that which is to edify as a tool of wickedness. May we not capitalise on each other’s weakness even as we take up your strength. May we not stretch forth our hands to hurt or harm each other in Christ Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Stay blessed in His Will!!

Shalom!!!!

God’s Favor Renewed!!!

Psalm 85

Image result for images of God's renewed favorLord, you poured out blessings on your land!
    You restored the fortunes of Israel.
You forgave the guilt of your people—
    yes, you covered all their sins. Interlude
You held back your fury.
    You kept back your blazing anger.

Now restore us again, O God of our salvation.
    Put aside your anger against us once more.
Will you be angry with us always?
    Will you prolong your wrath to all generations?
Won’t you revive us again,
    so your people can rejoice in you?
Show us your unfailing love, O Lord,
    and grant us your salvation.

8 I listen carefully to what God the Lord is saying,
    for he speaks peace to his faithful people.
    But let them not return to their foolish ways.
Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him,
    so our land will be filled with his glory.

10 Unfailing love and truth have met together.
    Righteousness and peace have kissed!
11 Truth springs up from the earth,
    and righteousness smiles down from heaven.
12 Yes, the Lord pours down his blessings.
    Our land will yield its bountiful harvest.
13 Righteousness goes as a herald before him,
    preparing the way for his steps.
