Faith, Trust, And Assurance!

Do you have faith in God friends?

seek the LordHow great is your faith in the promises of God for your life as contained in the scripture? Joel 2: 26, for example, says “And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.” How deep do you believe this promise?

Manoah in the book of Judges had a wife who was not able to give birth as stated in Chapter 13. One day, out of the blues His wife came and told him about a visitation from a man giving them a promise of a son. The man came to Manoah’s wife but not him, yet when Manoah went to the Lord in prayer, it was not about God confirming His word by the mouth of two or three. He was not requesting for the man to come back and talk to him or both of them again to be sure He was from the Lord.

Manoah believed the Lord by the testimony of his wife. When he went to the Lord in prayer, it was about how the promised child should be raised. In reverence unto the Lord, Manoah prayed in Judges 13:8 Then Manoah prayed to the Lord: “Pardon your servant, Lord. I beg you to let the man of God you sent to us come again to teach us how to bring up the boy who is to be born.”

What are you doing with the promise you received? Are you waiting for confirmation and affirmation? Are you looking for signs, thunder, and clouds? Something to prove that God is committed to fulfilling the promises?

Friends take a step of faith! Prepare for the harvest, be ready, take action, do what you have to do now!!! Zechariah 4:6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord AlmightyThe Lord has spoken once, twice you should hear, power belongs unto the Lord – Psalms 62:11. The power that raised Christ from the dead is available to quicken you to accomplish all that the Lord has purposed for you.

Judges 13:12 Manoah asked the Man, “When your words are fulfilled, what is to be the rule that governs the boy’s life and work?” He had no doubt, there wasn’t an “if”, it was “when”! Manoah was certain that the promise would come to pass!

Why then do you doubt the word of God Oh ye friends of little faith? Why do I doubt the word of God? The promise in Philippians 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  The Lord promised to give you everything that you need if only you will seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Will you yield your heart today unto the Lord? Will you yield your boat for the Lord? Will you commit and recommit to doing that which pleases the Lord? You have to stop that myopic way of thinking friends. The Lord is mighty, powerful, He is the all knowing all seeing, only wise God! He knows what you need today, tomorrow and for the rest of your life even before you know it or ask Him for it and He, God Almighty already made provision for all your needs. You only need to accept His love, forsake your evil ways, put all your trust in Him, leaning closely on the Lord, and do His will and every other thing shall be added unto you.

What He called you into, is already settled! Trust in Him and walk into your inheritance. God’s promises are yea and amen!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
