The Healing Word

Excerpt from The Healing Word – Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye

1 John 1:8-9 says:

“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

Beloved, the above scripture is the healing word that the Lord is sending to you today, irrespective of the number of years you have spent in your walk with Him.

Do you believe it?

The healing we are talking of today is not only physical; it is also spiritual, material, financial, marital, intellectual, and all-encompassing.

In whatever you are need healing today, by the word of the Lord I say to you, be healed in Jesus’ mighty Name.

7 Things That Will Happen When The Fire Fall!

Excerpt from the just concluded Festival of Life in Boston titled “Let The Fire Fall” by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Worldwide. March 23rd, 2018

Anchor Text: Exodus 3:1-5 and 10-11.

Moses was at the backside of the desert. He was a fugitive, running from Pharaoh, and has been running for 40years, he was lonely, and a failure who tried to rescue the children of Israel using his power but failed. He was as far removed from fulfilling his destinies as anyone could be. Then the fire fell and things changed dramatically. For someone reading this moment, in the name that is above every other name, the fire will fall upon you and you will experience a dramatic change.

  1. It does not matter where you are, God will locate you. Moses was located at the backside of the desert. It wasn’t in the church or city. Irrespective of where you are, when the fire falls on you, be rest assured God will locate you.
  • Judges 6:11-23 Gideon was hiding from his enemies, yet God located him there and told him his time has come
  • 1 Kings 19:9-11 Elisha was busy in his farm, while a conference was taking place between God and Elijah concerning him. You could be anywhere and God will still locate you. You could be in your office or washroom, and God will locate you
  • Act 9:10-21 Saul of Tarsus was located where he was. God sent one of his prophet with detailed geographical instructions of how to locate Saul. God knows where you are, your address to detail. He will locate you
  • 1 Samuel 1: 9-20 In the house of God, with the crowd at Shiloh, there was a woman praying, God so stationed the high Priest that day to locate this woman. He saw her praying and her mouth was moving but she made no sound.  I decree whatever you request from the Most High God, you’ll get it in Jesus name

Prayer: Locate me Oh Lord this moment. In this crowd, Father locate me, you located Hannah, you located Saul of Tarsus, please locate me tonight. You located Gideon, and you located Moses at the backside of the desert, please locate me today

2. God gave Moses a singular miracle. It has not been heard before that a fire burned without the bush burning. God singled Moses out for a miracle. I believe once God locates you, he will be singled out for a miracle.

  • Joshua 5:13-15 Joshua was leading Israel to the promise land when he encountered a wall standing on his path. An Angel came and said there will be a way – a pathway through. And there was a way. The wall fell down!
  • 2 Kings 2:1-15 Elijah was about to be taken away by chariots of fire. There were a lot of the Sons of the Prophet aware of what was about to take place. Yet only Elisha got a miracle
  • John 5:2-9 At the pool of Bethsaida, Jesus had the power to heal all, but it was only this man that was healed

Prayer: Father single me out for a miracle today in Jesus name. Something special, miraculous, a miracle of healing, deliverance, breakthroughs, Lord single me out tonight

  1. All of a sudden, God changed this man who has been a failure to a success. when God locates you and singles you out for a miracle, that miracle is likely to be a miracle of success.
  • John 5:2-9 There were multitudes of sick people at the pool of Bethesda and God singled out just one man. The man God singled out for healing has failed for 38years
  • Luke 5:1-7 Peter fished all night and caught nothing. Success is only measured by result. From now on your labor shall not be in vain
  • Romans 9:15 I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy. It is not that we have not tried or we are not trying, success seems to elude us. However, when the fire falls, failure will be changed to success. A big miracle is all you need to succeed
  • 2 Kings 4:1-7 The widow of the Sons of the Prophet in poverty was about to lose her children. Just one miracle paid off her debt and she lived on the remaining for the rest of her days in abundance

Prayer: Father, this very day, terminate failure in my life on permanent bases in Jesus mighty name.

4. Moses was a very lonely man.

  • Exodus 3:11-12 When God is with you
  • Exodus 12:30-37 A man lonely, at the backside of the desert became a leader of multitudes
  • Matthew 8:1-3 A leper who came to Jesus to be made whole
  • Mark 10:46-52 Bartemeaus cried unto Jesus, but the crowd shouted him down

Prayer: Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, terminate loneliness in my life.

5. When the fire burns, the hunted became the hunter.

  • Exodus 12:33 Moses became a terror to Pharaoh. Those who have been chasing you will begin to run from you
  • Judges 14:5-6 A Lion roared against Samson. The fire fell and Samson tore the Lion
  • Judges 15:9-15 Samson was brought bound before his enemies but the fire fell and the ropes binding him fell off
  • 2 Kings 9:1-15 A King sent soldiers to arrest Elijah. The third Captain seeing and making the calculations of the burned remains of the previous captain and the battalion wisely bowed. Your enemies will bow before you

Prayer: Turn me to a terror to my enemies and the kingdom of darkness.

6. The journey to the fulfillment of your destiny begins. Like Moses, God created you for a purpose.

  • Jeremiah 1:4 -5 Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations
  • Jeremiah 29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. God has a destiny for you
  • Luke 5:8-11 After God located Peter, he singled him out for a miracle. Jesus then went on to say, once I singled you out, no more separation. You shall become fishers of men. It was after the fire fell that Peter became fishers of men

Prayer: Father whatever it is you planned for my life, let it begin to find fulfillment from this day onward in Jesus name. Let your purpose for my life begin to find fulfillment.

7.When the fire burns for Moses, a new dawn began for him, his life was never the same. The moment the fire falls things will change.

  • Daniel 3:1-13 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego went into the burning fire when these youth came out ….
  • 2 Kings 2:1-15 Elisha was just one of the Sons of the Prophets until the fire fell

Prayer: Father let the fire fall for me today. Let a new dawn begin for me

If you want a new dawn, the best way is to surrender your life to Jesus Christ today. Tomorrow may be too late. Let Christ give you a new beginning.

Behold The Lamb Of God. RCCG Convention 2017

Synopsis: Just concluded RCCG Convention 2017, held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Behold The Lamb of God as taught by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God International on Friday, June 9th.

Anchor Text: John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

John the Baptist saw the Lord Jesus and saw the fulfillment of his purpose on earth, he saw the fulfillment of the promises made by the God of Israel, generations before him.

What then does the Lord want you and I to see and receive this season?

  1. Christ Jesus wants you and I to behold His stripes and claim our healing. 1 Peter 2:24 “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds, you have been healed.” Friends, our healing was settled over 2000 years ago, so, therefore, whatever is ailing us has been conquered. We just need to claim our healing and order the foreigner out of our body, emotions, life and all. Read Act 3:1-8, 9:33-39
  2. We are to behold the blood of the Lamb and claim our deliverance. Leviticus 17:11 says that “life of the flesh is in the blood”  For the life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for yourselves on the altar; it is the blood that makes atonement for one’s life. We were purchased by the precious blood of the Lamb of God – Jesus Christ, who takes away our sin and the consequence of it, He nailed it to the cross so you and I can live a life devoid of oppression, torment and so on. Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins.  We are made alive by the blood to live a victorious life. Whatever wants to keep us down from walking in victory in all area of our life is encroaching where it does not belong. Revelation 12:11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Plead the blood of Jesus against every and anything encroaching on your life and destiny!
  3. We are to behold His sweat and claim our success. As a result of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, the curse came into being. Genesis 3:17 To Adam, he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil, you will eat food from it all the days of your life. The Lamb of God, however, saved us from the curse, by His suffering and agony in prayer and ultimately His death. Luke 22:44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
  4. Behold the Lamb and you will never be alone, lonely or forsaken. Christ suffered all that for you and me.  Psalms 121:5 The Lord watches over you— the Lord is your shade at your right hand; Matthew 26:56 But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.”Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. Read the whole of Matthew, special attention to 47-49, 69-75. Whatever level of betrayal, loneliness, and aloneness you are experiencing, note that Christ suffered it all for you and I so we would not suffer it again. He said in Hebrew 13:5 that He, Christ Jesus will never leave nor forsake us. What a comfort!
  5. Behold His resurrection and claim a new beginning. What is your story? What is the state of things in your life? There is provision for a change, a new beginning in Christ Jesus. Matthew 28: 1-6, 6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay. The Lamb rose from the dead to give us life and life abundantly. Therefore, the dead issues of your life can resurrect today if you have faith in the Lamb of God that take away the sin of the world. Read Mark 5
  6. Behold the Ascension and claim all His promises. John 16:7 But very truly I tell you, it is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. Read Act 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him, the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.
  7. Behold the Lamb and claim permanent victory without a fight. It was love that took Christ Jesus to the cross. Romans 8: 5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires, but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. 10 But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. 11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Read Joshua 7:1-12. 1 Samuel 17:45 David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

Sufficient Grace!

2 Corinthians 12:9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.

all inRunning this race requires grace. We live, breath and move by grace and the Lord has promised us sufficient grace to finish well. In whatever state or phase, at every and any given season, God’s grace is available and it is sufficient the Lord said.

The question then as asked in today’s devotion by Pastor E. A. Adeboye is “How are you living today?” As the alpha and omega of your life and others? Like Christ is not coming back as promised? Or “Can you take a stand for the Lord in righteousness and refuse to compromise with sin?” Are you so challenged that you want to cave in just to be accepted by the world and miss out of all that heaven has for you? Are you weary, burdened by the cares all around? God’s grace is sufficient for you friend! He that saved Daniel from the Lions den, also empowered David to face Goliath, He delivered Paul the apostle and He is very much available to save and deliver you from all the force of hell.

Will you reach out today. Call on the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, Jehovah the man of war. Let faith arise in you to take hold of all that is available for you in Christ Jesus. Grace will not let you fall, you will not fail, neither will you be put to shame. All expecting evil of you will see the Radiant Glory of God over you. You shall stand triumphantly over all evil in the presence of God Most High, the Ancient of Days, declaring, to Him who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb, be glory, honor and power forever. Amen

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
