Praise In The Storm!

Praise the Lord in the storm! Praise God’s holy name still!. You Oh Lord, are who you are regardless of the storm and the heartache we may be having. We will praise you in the storm, in the high seas and fiery furnace for you alone art God. Mighty you are Lord, full of grace and mercy. We worship you still Lord!

Friends, what is ailing you? What season are you in this moment? Hope thou in the Lord and be encouraged. The Lord is good and full of compassion. He will help you, you only need to call on Him in faith. He will comfort you in ways you can’t even imagine.

If you do not have a relationship with the Lord, now is the time to seek His face in prayers. Ask the Lord to come into your heart. Let Him help you to see that which you need to see and hear that which you need to hear. The Lord is God and He created us for His purpose. Jesus bids you to come today, all ye that labor and are heavy laden and He will give you rest – Matthew 11:28-30.

Accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today, believing in your heart that He died to give you life. Confess His Lordship over your life for He loves you with an everlasting love.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

With Christ Jesus in you, you will not be consumed, the fire will not kindle upon you, the storm will not overcome you. Hold on!! The light will shine upon the dark places. Hold unto the Lord’s mercy!

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Praise Ye The Lord!!

The Lord has done awesome things for you and I friends. The love of God has washed away all our filth. His mercy reached down and brought us up to stand by grace before Him. He sat us up in the heavenly places above principalities and powers, above all works of Satan.

The Lord has been good to us, washing us with the blood of Jesus and pouring His love on us, filling us up with joy in the Holy Ghost. Why will you not praise Him? Let your voice be heard to the uttermost friends!! The Lord listens to you there!! That’s right! He has set up a stage to make manifest His power, grace, mercy and love through you. Can you not see? The Lord delight in you!!! Yes, you, and you!!!

Father thank you for all you have done and are doing. As this realization dawns on us may we begin to manifest that which is of your pleasure as your Spirit quickens us. Lord Jesus, work in us to will and to act in order to fulfill your great pleasure in and through us. May your praise never cease from our lips in Jesus mighty name Amen.

Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!

Broken Spirit! Contrite Heart!!

Awesome God! How great thou hath, you alone are mighty, and mighty are your miracles. Your ways Oh Lord are past finding out. You are beautiful beyond description, too marvelous for words.

prayer-of-the-contrite

You Oh Lord, you are the porter and we your children are the clay. You mold us as you will for your good pleasure. You molded David, a shepherd boy to be a giant killer. This same David, the least in Jesse’s household, you made the King of Israel your chosen people. Yet you reached into the darkened season of David’s life and brought out the wisest person that ever lived from the womb of Bathsheba- 2 Samuel 12:24! Who can fathom your ways Oh Lord. It amazes me Lord that you brought an enduring legacy, the Scepter, an eternal Scepter out of the loins of a murderer!!! Why Lord? How can that be? What is the criteria to find favor in your sight? What must I do to be a favored piece of clay?

isaiah-57-15

Lord you showed us in the life of Saul and David. Saul was King, chosen by you but lived according to the dictates and applause of men. He loved you but loved his subject more than you. He would rather disobey you than displease his armies, the people you made Him King over. Saul’s eyes were not towards you but in the euphoria of the words, accolades and acceptance of men. He lived to please his subjects – your people. 1 Samuel 13

broken-heartWhat pride and joy David brought to you Most High God! Right from facing Goliath, he was defending your honor and glory. He was ready come what may to stand for you. He was always concerned about pleasing you even when angered by Abigail’s husband, Nabal 1 Samuel 25. You kept him from sinning against you. When he was overcome by darkness and killed a man to cover up His sin and shame, you sent words to him and he repented. He sought your face. David always looked up to you Lord. The words of men, the applause were not enough to make him stretch out his hands against your anointed even in the cave. David feared you above all else!!

Friends, a broken and a contrite spirit the Lord will not despise. Will you humbly come to the Lord today to confess your sins, pour out your heart and let Jesus heal and cleanse you by His blood shed on Calvary’s tree. Jesus Christ already made the sacrifice on our behalf, all we need to do is accept the gift bestowed on us. Will you join me in praying this prayer of David in Psalms 51?

For the director of music. A psalm of David. When the prophet Nathan came to him after David had committed adultery with Bathsheba.

Have mercy on me, O God,
    according to your unfailing love;
according to your great compassion
    blot out my transgressions.
Wash away all my iniquity
    and cleanse me from my sin.

For I know my transgressions,
    and my sin is always before me.
Against you, you only, have I sinned
    and done what is evil in your sight;
so you are right in your verdict
    and justified when you judge.
Surely I was sinful at birth,
    sinful from the time my mother conceived me.
Yet you desired faithfulness even in the womb;
    you taught me wisdom in that secret place.

Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean;
    wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Let me hear joy and gladness;
    let the bones you have crushed rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins
    and blot out all my iniquity.

10 Create in me a pure heart, O God,
    and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
11 Do not cast me from your presence
    or take your Holy Spirit from me.
12 Restore to me the joy of your salvation
    and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

13 Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
    so that sinners will turn back to you.
14 Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
    you who are God my Savior,
    and my tongue will sing of your righteousness.
15 Open my lips, Lord,
    and my mouth will declare your praise.
16 You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it;
    you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.
17 My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
    a broken and contrite heart
    you, God, will not despise.

18 May it please you to prosper Zion,
    to build up the walls of Jerusalem.
19 Then you will delight in the sacrifices of the righteous,
    in burnt offerings offered whole;
    then bulls will be offered on your altar.

Shalom! Shalom!

He Reigns! The King Eternal!

hallelujahPsalm 93
1 The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength;
indeed, the world is established, firm and secure.
2 Your throne was established long ago;
you are from all eternity.
3 The seas have lifted up, Lord,
the seas have lifted up their voice;
the seas have lifted up their pounding waves.
4 Mightier than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea—
the Lord on high is mighty.
5 Your statutes, Lord, stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days.

The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice, let the earth rejoice! The Lord reigns in the affairs of every mans life. The Lord our God is the all knowing, all seeing, Only wise God. He is the Almighty, Most High, Sovereign God! Only you Oh Lord art worthy to be praised and adored. Be magnified Lord!

Psalms 2

1 Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth rise up
and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their chains
and throw off their shackles.”
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
the Lord scoffs at them.
5 He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 “I have installed my king
on Zion, my holy mountain.”
7 I will proclaim the Lord’s decree:

He said to me, “You are my son;
today I have become your father.
8 Ask me,
and I will make the nations your inheritance,
the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron;
you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise;
be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear
and celebrate his rule with trembling.
12 Kiss his son, or he will be angry
and your way will lead to your destruction,
for his wrath can flare up in a moment.
Blessed are all who take refuge in him

Praise To The Lord Most High!

praisePsalm 75
For the director of music. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A psalm of Asaph. A song.

1 We praise you, God,
we praise you, for your Name is near;
people tell of your wonderful deeds.
2 You say, “I choose the appointed time;
it is I who judge with equity.
3 When the earth and all its people quake,
it is I who hold its pillars firm.
4 To the arrogant I say, ‘Boast no more,’
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.
5 Do not lift your horns against heaven;
do not speak so defiantly.’”
6 No one from the east or the west
or from the desert can exalt themselves.
7 It is God who judges:
He brings one down, he exalts another.
8 In the hand of the Lord is a cup
full of foaming wine mixed with spices;
he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth
drink it down to its very dregs.
9 As for me, I will declare this forever;
I will sing praise to the God of Jacob,
10 who says, “I will cut off the horns of all the wicked,
but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.”
