It Is Real! Hell!

When we experience ill health, pain, sorrow, disappointment, betrayal, lack, rejection, oppression and the likes on earth we liken it to hell.  When you are in a situation where nothing seems not to work as it should and you have tough times, it is hard enough but still is not hell. Difficulties of any kind on earth can never be compared with the abode of ultimate torment, where pain is multiplied into infinity.

hellWhat am I saying here? Just that, you cannot afford to go through hard times here on earth and still do not make it to heaven. That my friend is a disaster. Neither should you think because life is good with you right here, how can it not be on the other side. Don’t be like the rich man of Luke 16.

Luke 16:19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.’ 25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

eternal punishment

You and I need to make a choice right where we are this moment.  Will it be hell or heaven? Choose ye this day whom you will serve – Joshua 24:15 Will you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today? We all need a savior, to deliver us from eternal damnation. You need to believe in your heart that Christ Jesus is the Son of the Most High God, who himself is God, but became flesh in order to take away our sin. Confess your sins and ask Christ Jesus to forgive you. Confess His Lordship over your life. You are now on the pathway to heaven. Praise God!

Purge Evil From Within!

As a sore thumb brings discomfort to the whole body, so is one man’s rebellion, it invites the Lord’s wrath on a nation! Purge evil from amongst you. Read Joshua 22.
The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all must be saved! Repent of your ways today. 2 Peter 3:9

Come unto the Lord all ye that labor and are heavy laden and Jesus will give you rest, take of the Lord’s yoke for it is easy and you will find rest for your souls- Matthew 11:28-29

Allow Christ In!

In today’s Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye, Christ has released an open invitation for all burdened and heavy laden to come unto Him and He will give them rest – Matthew 11:28. “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool – Isaiah 1:18.

Once you answer this call and come to Christ He will wash you with His blood for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sin –Hebrew 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. Christ Jesus cleanses us all from all our sins and gives us a clean slate. We become a brand new creation. It does not matter the magnitude of your sins, witchcraft, adultery, fornication, murder, lying, false accuser, evil schemers, disobedience, rebellion, no matter what you have done or not done, the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all unrighteousness.

sinners prayer2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  You and I are brand new, spotless without any sin or traces of it, I mean totally clean and complete in Christ. What a privilege and honor to find love so real, for Christ to die for us while we were yet sinners. Why then my friends will anyone neglect such a great Salvation. Hebrew 2:3 how shall we escape (damnation/judgment) if we neglect so great a salvation, which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed to us by those who heard Him,.

Will you come to the throne of mercy today to receive the gift of a brand new life of peace, joy, victory and much more?. Will you ask Jesus to be the Lord of your life today? Friends, remember that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Everyone needs redemption that is Christ Jesus. Go to Christ today to have your sins washed away so you can begin to live a brand new life.

Jesus loves you friends!

Shalom! Shalom!

Good Decision! Repentance!

Jeremiah 4:1 “If you will return, O Israel,” says the Lord“Return to Me; and if you will put away your abominations out of My sight, Then you shall not be moved. And you shall swear, ‘The Lord lives,’ In truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; the nations shall bless themselves in Him, and in Him they shall glory.”

LysaJames 4:8 Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men,12 teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, 13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, 14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

15 Speak these things, exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no one despise you.

Father in Jesus Christ Mighty Name, may I begin to make one decision after another that will bring me closer to you. I want to draw near to you more than before. Help me that I might see wondrous things in your law. Give sight to my eyes, quicken my heart after you more and more. Cleanse thou me from all filthiness in Jesus mighty name. Amen

Shalom! Shalom!

Secured In Christ!

Isaiah 50:4The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.
securedThe Lord God has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,
Nor did I turn away.
I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

“For the Lord God will help Me;
Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.
He is near who justifies Me;
Who will contend with Me?
Let us stand together.
Who is My adversary?
Let him come near Me.
Surely the Lord God will help Me;
Who is he who will condemn Me?
Indeed they will all grow old like a garment;
The moth will eat them up.

10 “Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God.
11 Look, all you who kindle a fire,
Who encircle yourselves with sparks:
Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled—
This you shall have from My hand:
You shall lie down in torment.

Christ Loves You!

God's love

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life…..8“He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Friends, why don’t you open up your heart to receive the love of God today while it is still today. The verses above indicated that God loves all with an everlasting love. Will you yield today. Jesus bids you come, Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

You have heard of God’s love for you, believe exactly that and repent of your sins, confess and accept Jesus Christ into your hearts. He does care for you and there is no alternative to Christ saving grace. Repent therefor and live!

Jesus loves you and is coming soon.

Accept Him today.

Ask Him In!

Friends, as you all know, every single human on this side of eternity has one or two issues. We are either just getting out of that valley, on mountain top, on plain ground, with our peace intact or not, in control or not. Life is full of challenges and this is the  more reason to enlist the help of Him who created and gave life.

You see, life will happen, there will be good times and bad times, and what makes the difference in how it affect us in the long run is who we have living inside of us. Times and chance happens to all men, both great and small, young and old. However, a life of faith in Jesus Christ keeps things in perspective!

Friends, all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God – Romans 3;23, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord – Romans 6:23. John 3:16 says ” For God so loved the world ( you and I) that He gave His only begotten Son, (Jesus Christ) that whoever believes in Him(Jesus) should not perish but have everlasting (eternal) life.

Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden,and I will give you rest – Matthew 11:28. Living life without faith in Jesus is a laborious journey filled with uncertainty. Jesus is inviting you and I! Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light – Matthew 11:29 -30

Will you come to Jesus today? Open your heart to him today and invite Him in. Trust God to give you perspective, for The Word says, Romans 10:8 what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

There is provision for living life effectively and efficiently here on earth towards eternity, will you embrace it today? Be born again!! Open up your hearts Jesus is calling you!

Jesus in Samaria!

Psalm-42-2-My-Soul-Thirsts-for-God-gray-copyJohn 4:4 But He needed to go through Samaria. This is Jesus Christ needing to go through Samaria! Why does our Lord Jesus Christ have to go through Samaria? Why not take another route? Jews were not meant to relate, mingle, interact with Samaritans, and Jesus knows this quite well, why go through the city of the accursed?

Jesus had to go through an accursed, sinful woman in order to reach/save a people, a whole city for His kingdom. Isn’t it possible that Jesus could have met anyone else somewhere in Judea that could bring the message back to Samaria? Jesus as Lord new the heart of all human regardless of our outward piousness and sinfulness.

Jesus knew the heart of this Samaritan woman. He knew she was thirsty and hungry for life, for what she had was not satisfying. She knew there was something more and was believing, hopeful and expectant and was searching. How do I know that? John 4:25 The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ) “When He comes, He will tell us all things,”

The scripture also said she was lecturing Jesus Christ about the Well of Jacob. She had knowledge of her Abrahamic Heritage in John 4: 12 “Are you greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”  and verse 20 “Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship.”

Friends, what does Samaria represent in your life? What situation, circumstance or experience are you having right now? That happening that you thought shouldn’t be or have been! That glitch, hiccup and happenstance, ask the Lord for understanding and you will see that, it had to happen for God to be glorified in your life. Jesus went through Samaria to save a people for His kingdom, you are going through Samaria in order to benefit the kingdom of God. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.

Look inward friends, and you will realize that you have moved a step higher from who you used to be. Like the Samaritan woman, you are more confident of your heritage in Christ Jesus. You know who you are better now than before and your life is having impact in your spheres of influence. Like the Samaritan woman’s transformation, those in the city, lost and thirsty, but with the attitude of we’ve got everything together are having an “awe” moment. The light bulb is coming on in their hearts.

She showed the whole city the way to the Lord – The Way, The Truth and Life. John 4:28-30 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him. and 39- 42  And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” 40 So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. 41 And many more believed because of His own word.42 Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the the Savior of the world.”

What about you friends? Do not hide your light, don’t put it under the table, no matter how little, put it on a stool, lampstand, anywhere! Let it show someone the way to the Lord! Give hope to the hopeless, be a friend to the friendless. It takes the heart of Jesus to be a giver! Give love, encouragement, and comfort to another. Build up, strengthen and reach out to steady the stumbling. Jesus will never leave nor forsake you. Reach out to the deep for a catch. You will be surprised, for the harvest is plenty and the labourers are few. John 4: 34-38. Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. 35 Do you not say, ‘There are still four months and then comes the harvest’? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! 36 And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together. 37 For in this the saying is true: ‘One sows and another reaps.’38 I sent you to reap that for which you have not labored; others have labored, and you have entered into their labors.” Do your part in God’s kingdom – preach and live The Word in season and out of season

Are you drinking and still thirsty and hungry? In the dark without Christ in your heart? I want you to know that Jesus loves you. Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. However John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. Jesus wants you to come to him, acknowledging your need for him in your life, confess your sins and ask him to quench your thirst – fill you with Himself, His Holy Spirit. Reach out today! Jesus is waiting!
