Stay Away From Evil

“I am allergic to hypocrisy, disrespect, and slanderous tongues! Distancing from the source prevents allergic reaction!” ~JoanDebo

Father, many a time I have engaged in the unfruitful works of darkness, please be merciful unto me and forgive me in Jesus name!

I did engaged in gossip and slander, this tongue said many things that shouldn’t have been uttered!

I saw evil and embraced it! Forgive me Lord! I confess and ask for mercy! Help me Lord to bridle this tongue, let it only speak the words that sustains the weary! Let my soul be kept away from corruption!

Keep me away from temptation I ask in Jesus Christ Mighty name. Amen

Declaring Truth

Hello, today I just want to make some declaration for myself and I believe you should make this declaration for yourself also. This declaration is already out there. It’s in the Word of God. I want to share my declaration with you.

My Words of affirmation to affirm who I am in the Lord. My name is Joan and I want to say that I am called of God I know this that I am called of God. I am chosen ,and am the apple of my father’s eyes . I am being changed into His image. I am a new creation. I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. There’s greatness within me.5452661488

I am forgiven of all my sins! My past sins, my present sins, and even all the sins that I will sin in the future. Because Jesus paid it over 2000 years ago, he paid for all my sins, I mean, He is constantly atoning for it.

I am redeemed from the curse of the law. I am blessed. I am highly favored. I am from above. I’m not beneath . I am God’s delight. I am victorious. I am complete in Christ Jesus, I am a chosen generation. I am a city set upon a hill. I cannot be hidden. I cannot be hidden.

And the Word of God also says that my voice shall resound to the ends of the earth, and that the foreigners shall hear. and flee out of the hidden places because there’s greatness within me, because the power of the Holy Spirit, the power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in my life. And God is working in me to will and to act in order for His pleasures to be fulfilled in Me!

What about you? What are you saying about yourself? Are you saying the word of God or you’re saying what the nay sayers are saying about you?

I want you to make declarations today. Declare who you are in the Lord, have faith, believe and be strong! Once again this is Joan.

Just An Affirmation

Monday Affirmation

Sometimes, hmmm, I guess it should be daily, and every time, we must speak tenderly to ourselves. Just as we speak kindly to others, you and I must learn to be kind to ourselves.

Therefore, affirming yourself is healthy. When you develop kindness towards yourself, you most likely will be kind to everyone else!

Our world needs kindness!

Be generously kind to someone today!

Spread grace!

Let The Healing Begin

May your ears be open to hear good news.

Words! Words! Words can make or mar! What kind of words are you using to describe yourself? What words are you saying to yourself? What kind of words are you permitting in your space?

You must know by now that words have power to transform. Words can heal, and it can also wound.

Therefore, speak words of correction with love and understanding.

Speak truth, speak life, affirm, praise, instruct, and most importantly, decree and declare blessings along your path!

The Words that I speak, they are spirit, and they are life. Read John 6:63-70

Be Onguard! Words Can Kill!

Words are powerful.

Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Covid 19 has revealed beyond a doubt the evil intention and wickedness of man, the thought of the heart, how murderous it can be.

Revelation 12:15 Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.

We have seen and heard of those with slight provocation or even without any, intentionally spitting on the face of others, knowing fully well they could be spewing the virus on a more vulnerable person.

We have heard of victims that died as a result of such encounter with the new weapon of mass destruction, a killer, a super spreader, a carrier infected with Covid 19 spitting virus over them.

I wonder if you ever thought of people speaking evil into the lives of others as evil, killers of lives and destinies! The word of God says that life and death is in the power of the tongue – Proverbs 18:21.

Many on a whim spew out curses like rain, pouring out words from the deep seated wickedness, insecurity, pain and hurt in their soul on unsuspecting vessels. Matthew 12:35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Others go around dropping venom on every surface, any ears that is accessible, for the detriment of many forgetting that we all will be judged by every careless and evil words we spew out. Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken.

Therefore, be careful of that which you feed your soul with as we prepare to walk into this new door of a new year that God in His infinite mercy is opening to and for you and I. Mark 4:24 “Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued.

Be watchful, stay awake, pay attention, stay conscious of what you hear! Does it bring fear? Doubt? Demean you? Exalt Satan and his agent over Christ Jesus? Does it exalt any human in place of God? Does it convict you of your sins? Does it encourages the good in you? Does it inspire you to live a life that is worthy of your precious salvation? Does it glorify mammon? Does it make excuses for your life of sin? The words you hear and feed yourself on friends, does it strip you of human dignity?

We need to remind ourselves that God spoke the world into being! Words are powerful! Any avenue from which words are spoken to demean, discourage, abuse, and degrade you as a human being is not of God.

The whole purpose of the devil is to strip you naked of the Radiance of God’s Glory, he want to strip you of your identity as a child of God so he can rule over you as god! Satan will take over your mind, your free will subtly with the words he speaks to you. He is a master manipulator, a liar and a good orator! Read the temptation of Jesus Christ in the Books of the Gospels. You must resist the devil and counter his lies with The Word of God today as in this new year!

Flee from every appearances of evil1 Thessalonians 5:22. Don’t feed your soul with poison! It will kill ya! Feed your soul with the word of truth. Read the Bible and books that build you up. Edify yourself and others with the scriptures this new year. It shall be well with you and all that is yours in Jesus name. Amen

Shalom!

Will To Live! Hope!Not Giving Up!

In any war there are always casualties. May we not be casualties of war, and for those that will be, may they find someone who will not give up on them, someone who will nurse them back to life, someone who will inspire them with the “Will to Live”

That is the phrase I woke up with this morning. In the dream of the night, I saw two factions, a group of military personnel and what seems like civilians, gang members of sort under tension.

In the twinkle of an eye, fight broke out, and some people were caught in the cross fire. I saw body bags in Humvee. To me it seems these bodies are not been helped as much. They were given up on too easily, too soon. One person’s last word was to her mate to take her valuables to pass on to her family as life was slipping off of her and her mate just took the items to pass on without so much as assisting her to stay here.

I went to this body and felt rapid heartbeat and the other body also with life color off, yet with a heart beat. I touched both and spoke thus, “summon up the will to live”! I kept repeating this phrase while touching these two until they both seem to regain color on their faces, one got up and was repeating the phrase, “will to live”! Will To Live! Will To Live!

You can speak life to dead situations around you. The power of life and death is in the tongue. Proverbs 18:21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

In whatever situation or circumstances, may you receive grace to Will the dead situation in your life back to life. Many a time we give up so easily without a fight, we abandon projects, difficult tasks, hurting relationships, goals, ideas. and the likes. We bury seeds that only need a little scent of water to blossom.

Job 14:7-9 “At least there is hope for a tree:
    If it is cut down, it will sprout again,
    and its new shoots will not fail.
Its roots may grow old in the ground
    and its stump die in the soil,
yet at the scent of water it will bud
    and put forth shoots like a plant.

I don’t know where you have been written off, forgotten, or left for dead, I have a message for you, receive life this moment. By the help of the Holy Spirit receive grace and the Will TO LIVE!

The Word says you shall not die but live to exalt the Lord In the land of the living- Psalm 118:17

A Word In Season!

Isaiah 50:4“The Lord God has given Me
The tongue of the learned,
That I should know how to speak
A word in season to him who is weary.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear
To hear as the learned.
The Lord God has opened My ear;
And I was not rebellious,
Nor did I turn away.
I gave My back to those who struck Me,
And My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard;
I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

“For the Lord God will help Me;
Therefore I will not be disgraced;
Therefore I have set My face like a flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.
He is near who justifies Me;
Who will contend with Me?
Let us stand together.
Who is My adversary?
Let him come near Me.
Surely the Lord God will help Me;
Who is he who will condemn Me?
Indeed they will all grow old like a garment;
The moth will eat them up.

10 “Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God.
11 Look, all you who kindle a fire,
Who encircle yourselves with sparks:
Walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled—
This you shall have from My hand:
You shall lie down in torment.

Truth In Love!

Guide us Oh Lord Our God into the Truth of thy Words by your Holy Spirit, that we might be able to depart from the errors of Our Ways in Christ Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

It is so ironic that as Christians, we are apt to point out others walking in errors while we live and breath in error. Mind you, every single one of Us brethren are prone to error due to our sin nature, however being born again exonerate us, yet we get tangled up in error.

Why is this so? Ignorance I believe is a factor here, for if we do not know better, we act and respond to stimulus as per our nature. Ego also is a factor for we might know  the right thing to do, but in order to seem tough, in control, in charge of the situation, we act contrary to the Word and Will of God to maintain the status quo which is unlike our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is all encompassing love, humility, peace, truth, justice, kindness, mercy and righteous.

Truth

Isaiah 32:5 The foolish person will no longer be called generous,
Nor the miser said to be bountiful;
For the foolish person will speak foolishness,
And his heart will work iniquity:
To practice ungodliness,
To utter error against the Lord,
To keep the hungry unsatisfied,
And he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.
Also the schemes of the schemer are evil;
He devises wicked plans
To destroy the poor with lying words,
Even when the needy speaks justice.
But a generous man devises generous things,
And by generosity he shall stand.

Dear Lord we pray, that we will be bold in Christ to speak the truth of the gospel of God in much conflict. That our exhortation will not come from error or uncleanness, nor full of deceit, but as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we will speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts. in Christ Jesus Mighty Name. Amen 1 Thessalonians 2:2-4
