So Easy! Falling Into Error!

It is so easy to fall into error! Test every spirit the Lord said! 1 John 4:1

As the Lord lays tables before His own, remember it is in the presence of the enemy! Psalms 23:5

Satan will always table error arrayed as the real thing before God’s children. He did when he took Jesus to a very high mountain in Matthew 4:8-9. Satan showed the Lord, the world and asked Jesus to bow to him.

What revelation have you received? If it contradicts the Word, or requires you to twist the Scriptures- the Holy Word of God, then it is counterfeit. It is not of God!

What pressure, need, desire are you bowing before? What are you idolizing, worshiping, other than the creator? Mammon?

By discernment of the Holy Spirit you will be able to weigh revelations in light of the Scriptures.

Peter had to question Jesus when he was asked to eat unclean animals! Acts 10:9-15.

You need to question what you receive of the Lord!

Is it for the advancement of the gospel, for the good of all?

Or is it for your ego trip, personal gain, self-serving, self-esteem, feel good kind of thing?

May the Lord keep us all from falling into error! Mercy on your chosen Lord!

Error makes false teacher!!

Understanding Birth Reflection! It Regenerate And Transform!

In Luke 8 Jesus Christ traveled from one town and village to another proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. Jesus was accompanied by the twelve disciples and some women who He had cured of evil spirits and diseases. The women ministered to the Lord from their own substances.

Christ Jesus then told a parable to His hearers. The parable of The Sower. He then said, ” whoever has ears to hear, let them hear”. The disciples did not understand the parable and asked Jesus to explain it. This was the case in Nehemiah 8 also, when the book of the Law was read. The people said “Amen”, without a clue as to what it meant until Ezra explained it to them clearly. Only then where they able to receive, digest and bring up fruit of repentance.

Luke 8 10How often do we hear the word of God and it profit us nothing? Some of us have been following the Lord for decades, hearing with ears quite alright, but devoid of understanding. Why devoid of understanding?

For one, the Word of God according to Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

luke 8 18The Word of God is a two edged sword. It is meant to transform, to change, turn things upside down, down upwards. If we have been with the Lord for a while and our heart has not changed, if our minds have not been renewed, even when things around us have changed, then I doubt if we understand the good news of the gospel.

Luke 8:10 “He said, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to others I speak in parables, so that, ‘though seeing, they may not see; though hearing, they may not understand”.

This shows that we can hear, know about something, yet not understand it. It then will not profit us, for it is only after we have heard, know and understand that what we have heard can nourish and produce fruits typical of a regenerated soul.

There is a difference then in hearing, acquiring knowledge and understanding.

  • Hearing – You can hear without understanding
  • Knowledge – You can know about something without understanding it.
  • Understanding – You cannot understand anything without hearing and knowing.

It is thus, the understanding of what you are hearing and have knowledge about that will yield and can produce results, that will bring about transformational change from within.  

Except we understand the greatest commandment, we cannot be regenerated and transformed to the image of Christ Jesus.

Matthew 22: 36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment.   39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Whatever we are doing, if it cannot pass through this filter unscathed, then it is not worthwhile, it is of no eternal reward, be it paying tithe, worship, activities, service, “working” for God, whatever!!

Father Lord, give us understanding. Help us Sovereign God to understand your every word so that it may profit our soul in Jesus mighty name. Amen

It shall be! What the Lord Promised.

A census was called, the first of its kind, requiring everyone to go to their own town to register. Joseph went and Christ was born to fulfill scripture. Friends, may the Lord give you a first of its kind miracle that will showcase you as Christ beloved. May you receive a first of it kind opportunity that will announce you to the world in Jesus mighty name. 

BibleIllustration18The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told – verse 20. As God had promised through the scriptures, may it be done in your life and mine in Jesus name.

Luke 2:34 &35 Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: “This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, 35 so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too.” 

Friends, if you stand for anything, good or bad you would be spoken against. You will suffer persecution either way. Why not stand for what is good and pleasing to God, stand for righteousness. As a born again spirit filled individual you are already a sign and a wonder. You will be spoken against because you are not of this world, not on the same plain as them. Your light shines and reveals the darkness around. Those in the dark and do not want the light will of course hate the light of God shining in you friends because you are revealing the thoughts of many hearts.

You see, you have been transformed by the renewal of your mind, you are no longer who you use to be. This will not sit very well with those that wanted you to remain as who you use to be so they can gloat over you. Satan does not want you in God’s camp so here you go. He will raise every opposition to your status and liberty in Christ Jesus. Don’t blame him, he needs more companion, however, you have to choose life or death, whichever you desire and hold on tight. Don’t be distracted by the jeers of the skeptics, hold on to the promise of life and life abundantly.

You are the custodial of that which the Lord has revealed to you, you know it will take God to bring it to pass, therefor stay with God. He is able.God will move heaven and earth to meet your needs be assured.  Don’t fall into the trap of the wicked one, stay focused cause you are closer than you think. Remember not to walk by sight, walk be faith, don’t allow anything, situation, circumstances or person to hinder you from possessing your possession. Every promise of God in the scripture is yours for the taking if you are born again, willing and obedient.

If not, please do not let another day go bye without asking Christ Jesus to reveal himself to you. A relationship with Jesus will give you purpose to live for. Don’t lose hope friends, help is available right where you are. Open your hearts to Jesus, he will come in and dine with you. He makes life better!
