The Lord is Sovereign, what He says He will do will be done. You cannot stop Him, hinder him, maneuver Him, or manipulate God!
The sooner you realize this the better for you. Realign yourself with the purpose of God’s will today. Seek His face while He may be found! The Lord Reigns! Halleluyah!
Make the Lord your priority! He is all that count! Selah!
Psalms 47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises. 7 For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. 8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne.
2 Kings 13:14 Now Elisha had been suffering from the illness from which he died.
I am surprised that Elisha, with the double portion of Elijah’s anointing suffered from an illness. Elijah with half was taken to heaven. He did not die as all mortals die. Elisha is the man who’s dead bones gave back life to the dead!. Can you fathom that? God is Sovereign!
2 Kings 13:21Once while some Israelites were burying a man, suddenly they saw a band of raiders; so they threw the man’s body into Elisha’s tomb. When the body touched Elisha’s bones, the man came to life and stood up on his feet.
Remember, we are all human and subject to the frailty of the human condition. Like Paul, Timothy, you and I, including the man or woman you always run to for deliverance, we all are human and have issues. Period!
Let no man of God doom your faith with falsehood of a curse or curses upon your head, family, and so on. They have same in their families too!
Stop running helter-skelter! Seek the face of God for yourself, seek medical help, change your life style, and be optimistic!
Luke 16:27“He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father’s house, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.29″Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them. 30″‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent. 31″He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.'”
Do you know that, that someone did rise from the dead, and yet many still do not believe!!!
Friends, if you believe that Christ Jesus came walked this earth, died, and rose up, and is seated at the right hand of the Most High God, you should give God some praise.
Many people’s minds are blinded, cannot hear, see or perceive this great but simple truth!
Father in your mercy let every Vail shrouding people’s minds from receiving the simple truth of your Word be removed in Jesus mighty name!
Job 14:7-9 “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. 8 Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, 9 yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant.
What scent does your life, situation, and circumstances need to sprout again?
Your specific need is different from mine, your neighbors, Pastors, Bishops, friends, and other believers.
Oh!, You think your Pastors, Bishops don’t have needs? They do, and if you are privy to others real needs you would be encouraged.
You have a need, I do, and every other person you know has needs.
Your case is not different, strange, special, or need more than faith in the Word of God, the name of Jesus, the blood of Jesus, plus the mercy of God to solve it!
There is nothing that has befallen you that is not common to man – 1 Corinthians 10:13. No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.
Do not let anyone corner you into believing falsehood. God is on your side.
The scent your life need is unwavering faith in the life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. What He did on Calvary for you and I.
Moses at a time was cut down, Joseph, Hannah, Esther, Mordecai, Ruth, Naomi, Jesus himself, Paul, and Peter, and many more Saints were cut down, but at the scents of water they sprout up and are alive through their works even today.
Will you rise up from wherever you are to embrace Christ Jesus and all He already wrought for you?
Do not emphasize your human frailty more than what it is, and do not let any man or woman magnify the issues of your life for you to the point that you are blinded to what is attainable in Christ Jesus!
Jesus Christ! Faith in Jesus Christ! The leading of the Holy Spirit! Total reliance on the Sovereignty of the Almighty! And total commitment to believe in the capability of God to perform what He said He will do in you, through you will birth hope in you friends. Hope does not make ashamed! Romans 5:5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart! Proverbs 3:5-6
Mark 6:53-56 When they crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret and anchored there. As soon as they got out of the boat people recognized Jesus. They ran throughout that whole region and carried the sick on mats to wherever he went – into villages, towns or countryside – they placed the sick in the marketplace. … ALL WHO TOUCHED IT WERE HEALED
Friends, Jesus is everywhere and anywhere you call His name. He has anchored in your backyard, front yard and in your heart! He is at that troubled office, home, congregation, conglomerate etc
Will you call upon His name today for the salvation of your soul? Healing of your body, and emotions? Will you call on Him who is able to restore your marriage, career, ministry, ………. and self esteem?
Reach out in faith friends, He is nearer than you think!
“What sorrow awaits my rebellious children,” says the Lord .
“You make plans that are contrary to mine.
You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins.
For without consulting me, you have gone down to Egypt for help.
You have put your trust in Pharaoh’s protection. You have tried to hide in his shade. But by trusting Pharaoh, you will be humiliated, and by depending on him, you will be disgraced.
For though his power extends to Zoan and his officials have arrived in Hanes, all who trust in him will be ashamed. He will not help you. Instead, he will disgrace you.”
Isaiah 30:1-5
This is what the Sovereign Lord , the Holy One of Israel, says: “Only in returning to me and resting in me will you be saved. In quietness and confidence is your strength. But you would have none of it.
