Who do men say I am? Matthew 16:13-20 Jesus Christ asked this question of his disciples. The reason why Jesus asked this question I don’t know really!
What I do know is that if you and I do not know who we are, what we are about, our values, beliefs, and all, people, events, situations, circumstances, and all in the world will tell us what we are not!
You do not want that! Do you? I guess as much. Why don’t you start studying the scriptures? Who, what, your how, and when is all written in the Bible.
Make the Bible a priority! Read and meditate in it!
Stay on Psalm 139:14 a little bit. Can you wrap your mind around the fact that “You are fearfully and wonderfully made”? That marvellous are God’s work? Does your soul know this?
Know yourself friends and your enemies will never be able to label you as what you are not!
You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons or the wind, but you can change yourself. That is something you have charge of.
Jim Rohn – 1930-2009 – American Entrepreneur-Author
When the Lord turned the captivity of Zion we were like they that dreamed!
When you travel within, that is, change your mindset, grow spiritually, you will learn to celebrate your successes, dwell on your blessings, be grateful for who God is in your life, and begin to see that you are more blessed than you thought yourself to be!
Like my sister said, a good morning to some people is an invitation to find fault with you. This ought not be so if Christ lives within!
Jesus said they, the wicked, the haters of anything good, and Christ-like will hate you and I. John 15:18-27. It is a guarantee. Don’t take it personal my friend, they will never like you and you do not have to care about it. You cannot please these and Christ at the same time. You have to choose who’s side you want to be!
Friends, be wise like a serpent and innocent as doves. Matthew 10:16. Ask for grace to keep your heart free from offenses. Do not stray from the path of righteousness. The Lord Himself watches over you!
It is so easy to fall into error! Test every spirit the Lord said! 1 John 4:1
As the Lord lays tables before His own, remember it is in the presence of the enemy! Psalms 23:5
Satan will always table error arrayed as the real thing before God’s children. He did when he took Jesus to a very high mountain inMatthew 4:8-9. Satan showed the Lord, the world and asked Jesus to bow to him.
What revelation have you received? If it contradicts the Word, or requires you to twist the Scriptures- the Holy Word of God, then it is counterfeit. It is not of God!
What pressure, need, desire are you bowing before? What are you idolizing, worshiping, other than the creator?Mammon?
By discernment of the Holy Spirit you will be able to weigh revelations in light of the Scriptures.
Peter had to question Jesus when he was asked to eat unclean animals! Acts 10:9-15.
You need to question what you receive of the Lord!
Is it for the advancement of the gospel, for the good of all?
Or is it for your ego trip, personal gain, self-serving, self-esteem, feel good kind of thing?
May the Lord keep us all from falling into error! Mercy on your chosen Lord!
