Watch, Pray, Be Expectant!
Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. 48 He saw the disciples straining at the Oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, 49 but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, 50 because they all saw him and were terrified. Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” Mark 6:47-50
Okay Lord, I do not understanding why you waited till just before dawn to come towards me when you saw me last night straining. You saw the strain of my situation and circumstances discomforting me. You knew I was having difficulty at the beginning of this endeavor, this business, this pregnancy, relationship,this career, this ministry, this marriage, health, whatever OARS means to you put it there friends. Yet you waited Lord! You did not come to me right away! Why!!!! Why!!!!
And then when you decided to come, you acted like you were passing me by. You could not speak to me from afar, announcing that you were on your way, you scared me Lord! I thought you were a ghost. I mean, I couldn’t sleep all night, troubled, tossed here and there, my energy sapped, my will weakened, and you were going to walk by me? Mark 6:47-50
Jesus! You knew all things. You knew I was afraid. I almost pissed in my pant! Why did you walk on the water like that? You could have waited longer till day break so I could see that it was you, I mean why come just before dawn? Mark 6:47-50

Friends, whatever situation and circumstances you are in, the Lord knows and He is coming, maybe already there! You also need to remember that He showed up the last time you needed a miracle. The Lord want us to pay attention always to every event. He want us to watch and pray – Mark 14:38

If we are not watching and praying, and expectant, there is no way we will see the miracle, signs and wonder we are waiting for. Watching alone will not give us result, at best we will see all and everything that scares us. When we pray, our spiritual antenna comes up to sensitize us to see what natural eyes cannot see, we get an understanding of the times like the children of Issachar – 1 Chronicles 12:32. When we are expectant, it shows that we believe what we have asked for – 1 John 5:14-15

But Jesus’ primary concern was his disciples. He said to them, “Watch yourselves carefully so you don’t get contaminated with Pharisee yeast, Pharisee phoniness.
You can’t keep your true self hidden forever; before long you’ll be exposed. You can’t hide behind a religious mask forever; sooner or later the mask will slip and your true face will be known.
You can’t whisper one thing in private and preach the opposite in public; the day’s coming when those whispers will be repeated all over town.

Taking Authority In The Spirit By Faith!
Acts 16: 16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.
When a believer walks in the spirit, there will be revelations, what he or she sees, hear, and perceive in the natural will have spiritual undertone because you are seeing with the eyes of the spirit. The spirit of discernment reveals what no ordinary eye can see or mind comprehend and understand.
Paul and Silas saw this “wannabe”, the slave girl “testifying” about them as the servant of the Most High God. She had been fortune telling people in the area for long for a fee for her master, and she is well known. As a visitor, passing by, I would expect that Paul and Silas will be glad someone is advertising for them. She was authenticating them, putting a spotlight on them. However, Paul and Silas saw and heard differently!! They knew the spirit by which she was operating, and knew she was trying to authenticate herself and her master by testifying about Paul and Silas.
The bible says for many days she kept at it, following Paul and Silas all around proclaiming, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” For many days Paul and Silas saw, heard, and knew by what spirit she was operating, yet kept quiet minding their own business.
Friends, be aware that the enemy is walking around, going to and fro, looking for whom to devour. Our enemy, the devil will not come with blazing fire but gently as an harmless witness, tailing you, an uninvited associate, looking for an opportune time to strike.
I saw a vision once before, of a being with a face of a bird sitting with hands on its chin, seemingly watching someone sleeping. You could see the eyes bloodshot looking on. Why look on? When the bible says the thief cometh not but to steal, kill and destroy – John 10:10. It must be the wall of protection God put around His own, so he sat down chin in hand waiting endlessly. He is tailing believers, looking for an opportune time, a time when the hedge is broken so as to strike. Keep your guards up friends, and plead the blood of Jesus constantly! You life depend on it!!!!!
You must walk in the spirit, be alert, and do the needful as the occasion arises. Learn to look intently at those perambulating around you and stop them in their track.
Jesus Christ already gave you authority in Luke 10:19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. Use it!!!! Take authority like Paul did and cast out that demonic spirit working with and through them.
Let the Holy Spirit work through you! You can! You will! For He said in Mark 16:17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18 they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Prayer Against Untimely Death
Isaiah 28:18 a Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand.
Every and any contract, agreement or covenant made by me or anyone on my behalf to relegate me and my children, generations unborn to the realm of the dead is cancelled and annulled by the blood of Jesus Christ in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Every scheme of wickedness to build a house for me, my children and all that concerns me in the cemetery will not stand by the power in the blood of Jesus. For it is written in Isaiah 8:18 Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion.
Signs and wonders do not reside in the realm of the dead, nor by the cemetery. I and my children will not die but live to exalt the name of the Lord in the land of the living.
Isaiah 43;4 Since I and my children are precious and honored in the sight of the Lord, and because of His great love toward us, God will give people in exchange for us, nations in exchange for our lives.
As many as have gathered together against me and my family shall fall for our sake in Jesus mighty name. Amen. Those who digs a pit shall fall into it, as many that rolls stones shall have it rolled over them – Proverbs 26:27
Raise the war cry, you nations, and be shattered! Listen, all you distant lands. Prepare for battle, and be shattered! Prepare for battle, and be shattered! 10 Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted; propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us- Isaiah 8:9-10.
Friends, do not be ignorant of the devices of the wicked. You and yours shall not die before your time. The number of your days you shall fulfill. Watch and pray for the enemy like a roaring Lion goes to and fro looking for whom to devour. Do not be a victim, be a victor! Do not be careless and unaware.
You will not miss out of God’s blessings, the manifestation of His presence like never before this season.

Do Not Be A Shish Kebab! Be Rooted!
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. The thief can only steal when the owner is not there, unaware, distracted, asleep, and in any form of “cocoon” that makes one not consciously present.
The enemy subtly will work at separating believers from the presence of God in order to make a “shish kebab” of us. Mark 3:27 In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house. The enemy will always try in his cunningness to distract you by offence, pain, hurt, inconsistency in your faith work, lack of prayer, over sensitivity to what is said or not said about you, rumors, lies, and all sort.
The culmination of all ills will be separating you from the source of your well being. Everything that keeps you grounded and stable will be touched by the wicked to somehow afflict your desire to praise God knowing fully that Our God inhabits the praises of His people. When distraction comes please note that the wicked is at the door looking for an opportune time to strike.
Some have fallen by the hands of the agent of darkness, driven from the place of protection by false accusation, gossips and the likes. Some have been led away by the deceitfulness of sin. Many distracted by worldly desires, seeking after transient satisfaction thereby giving room for the seed of wickedness to grow in their abode.
The whole purpose of any attack is to somehow separate, isolate and hurt – very fertile ground for the enemy to kill steal and destroy. The Lord Jesus however came that you might have life, vibrant life in the midst of the chaos around. Abide in me, the Lord said in John 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. 8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Be careful then friends, watch and pray for the times are evil. Anything that takes your eyes of God is of the devil, anyone that discourages you from focusing on your maker is agent of the wicked. Be on guard, examine yourself, are you still in the faith or have you drifted into falsehood? Do not grieve the Holy Spirit, do not become a “shish kebab”!

Deceitful Hearts?
Waiting And Watching!
Waiting period is a very sensitive period! That period, when we are waiting for the manifestation of the promises of God to manifest is a time that doubt and discouragement will connive to steal from us what the Lord is about to place in our hands.
It is a time riddled with frustration! Having come to Shiloh several years now I believe, Hannah still did not conceive. She had the love of her husband but no child “yet”. At this time Hannah knew God was able to give her a child and so she had been praying all these years persistently. 1 Samuel 1:1-18 . Imagine the horror on her face each month she sees her menstrual period. Can you relate?
Friends maybe yours is not about conception, could it be your marriage in shamble, the loneliness, taunts, accusations, insinuations and heartache accompanying it. Your waiting for Mr Right and Mrs Right to come along, while your friends are planning weddings and your unbelieving acquaintances are changing boyfriends and girlfriends like a cloak and no one even asked you out for coffee. The illness that seems to defy medicine with all your fasting and prayers, the joblessness and working below your potential and the financial limitations at par with it mocking and questioning your faith. Is it your child, spouse, in laws, friends, business, ministry that you have a burden for and it seems God is not picking up your call.
This is a period we need to be more sensitive in. When it seems there is no response to your request and you have done all you could. Be watchful, for the enemy will come in its subtlety to offer you counterfeit. He offered it to Jesus Christ in Matthew 4:1-11. Oh, you think you are immune to it! The scripture says those who think they stand should watch less they fall. Do not lean on your own understanding.
Counterfeit will not necessarily be offered by your haters, it could come from those in authority over you, it most likely could come from those close to you, those held in high esteem, loved and honored! Jacob and Esau comes to play here. Esau was hungry and Jacob had just made a meal, let me bring it home. Jacob got a coupon for three course meal for 3 people at the price of one at let say Marriott Hotels, or may be at the Kegs. He could not possibly finish it since Dad and Mum are on a diet or eat only home cooked meals, Esau realized. Read the full story in Genesis 25:29-34, 27: 1- end. Esau asked for a portion and Jacob offered him only on the condition of relinquishing his birthright.
How often as believers do we sell our birthright for a morsel of food. We relinquish something of great value for a spare change, choosing to dine with the devil than wait for God’s appointed timing. Yes, I realize that we get so pressured sometime that we feel the only option is to give in to counterfeit! Thank God for always making a way of escape, this is why we need to be discerning and live by faith not by sight. If you do not stand in your faith, you will not stand at all. Isaiah 7:9b
The enemy will present counterfeit as original, it can only be detected by the eyes of the spirit. Feed your spirit man!!!!! Read your bible, meditate on the Word, cultivate a relationship with the person of the Holy Spirit. He is our guide, talk to Him more, let Him guide you. You see, I have learnt in a very hard way and I have resolve to befriend the Holy Spirit. It pays to be regarded as “chicken liver” weak, slow and what not but be safe than sorry.
Friends, remain confident of this, you and I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalms 27:13-14
Season of Joy! And Restoration!
Harvest season is the season of joy, a season of reward for hardwork. Why then Lord are these standing? These wicked one standing, and grabbing that which does not belong to them. Every devourer hanging around to devour the harvest due to the children of God in this season the Lord Jesus rebuke you. The blood of Jesus is against every devourer of God’s blessing upon His people in Jesus mighty name.
I pray that all that had been taken shall be restored in Jesus mighty name. The blessings that had been tampered with by the wicked one be restored whole in Jesus name. All that was forcefully taken shall be restored back now in Jesus mighty name.
Oh earth, oh earth, here the word of the Lord and release all that heaven released but the wicked one has been withholding in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. we stretch out our hands and take hold of all that belongs to us in Jesus mighty name.
Friends, guard your harvest, be sensitive in your spirit, there are those that are not in the fold, that plans to come under the cover of darkness to kill, steal and destroy. 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
