Outsiders! And The Fire!

Ģod is raising up “outsiders”, those the “Jews” of our times have labelled unfit to be used of God.

Outsiders are those that does not fit into the picture perfect image of religion. And Jews? Those are the religious, self righteous bigot of today!

Well! Here’s what the scriptures says:

There was dead silence. No one said a word. With the room quiet, Barnabas and Paul reported matter-of-factly on the miracles and wonders God had done among the other nations through their ministry.

The silence deepened; you could hear a pin drop. James broke the silence.

Friends, listen. Simeon has told us the story of how God at the very outset made sure that racial outsiders were included.

This is in perfect agreement with the words of the prophets: After this, I’m coming back; I’ll rebuild David’s ruined house; I’ll put all the pieces together again; I’ll make it look like new So outsiders who seek will find, so they’ll have a place to come to, All the pagan peoples included in what I’m doing. “God said it and now he’s doing it. It’s no afterthought; he’s always known he would do this. Acts 15:13‭-‬18 MSG

Brethren, look around you! Take a look! Who are the ones on fire for the Lord? Who are signs and wonders?

The Outsiders, once bartered, rejected, abandoned, traumatised, abused, discarded, murderers, doubtful, prostitute, I mean, the once good for nothing walking on the way to hell. These are the souls on fire, ablaze and burning for the Lord now!

The religious, self righteous, picture perfect, law observing, and enforcers? The Holy Spirit may bypass you in this last days! I am being generous here! 🙂

Lord Jesus, be merciful unto us and rekindle the fire on the altar of our hearts. Deliver us from self righteousness and help us to take up and hold unto the righteousness that is ours in Christ Jesus, we pray in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

On His Account

“David, of course, having completed the work God set out for him, has been in the grave, dust and ashes, a long time now.

But the One God raised up—no dust and ashes for him!

I want you to know, my very dear friends, that it is on account of this resurrected Jesus that the forgiveness of your sins can be promised.

He accomplishes, in those who believe, everything that the Law of Moses could never make good on.

But everyone who believes in this raised-up Jesus is declared good and right and whole before God.

“Don’t take this lightly.

You don’t want the prophet’s sermon to describe you: Watch out, cynics; Look hard—watch your world fall to pieces. I’m doing something right before your eyes That you won’t believe, though it’s staring you in the face.”Act.13.36-41.MSG

I Charge You!! Pray!

So Peter was kept in prison, but fervent and persistent prayer for him was being made to God by the church. ACTS 12:5 AMP

It is sickening that the Church of this last days, do not pray for each other. How we have grown in the wrong direction baffles me.

These days, when we see brethren in bondage to sin, being persecuted, arrested by poverty, troubles, failures, and the likes, WE, the Church, Pastors and congregants alike point fingers, makes jest, insinuates demeaning remarks etcetera, about them.

We are charged by Christ to pray for each other, including those we perceive as enemies – James 5:16, Matthew 5:44

It’s even worst when snide remarks are heard from the pulpit!

Christians! Christ beloved and followers, please repent! We must start loving Christ genuinely by caring for His body, one another!

Just think about it friends! Will Jesus know a brother or Sister in need and not reach out to such?

Take a look around, how many people have you personally touched with kindness?

How many in your congregation, family, friends and acquitances have you shown kindness? Just being nice!!! I mean, this may be all that someone needs!

How about prayer? How many do you know struggling, arrested and in prison, enclosed about by poverty, lack, relationship woes, addiction, and the likes, have you earnestly prayed up?

This is what true Christianity is all about! Caring for one another enough to talk to the Father on their behalf positively.

I said positively because many would rather God takes some off the face of the earth so they can shine more, or covet what belongs to them.

Friends, I charge you in Christ name to pray for a brother or Sister you know or perceive may be going through an unpalatable situation.

Just do it and you’ll see how satisfying it is. Your Spirit man will confirm the heart of the Father and you will feel peace like never before.

Try it! It is liberating!

Share The Good News!

Brethren, there is a group, there is a kind, there are people, that you have been specifically designed to reach, to bring the gospel of Salvation to!

Go out there today, and be led by the Holy Spirit to speak about the saving grace in Christ Jesus!!!

Go! Make disciples of all nation! Tell the good news!!

Many are waiting to hear, for their hearts have been prepared!

“”So then [since they were unaware of these developments] those who were scattered because of the persecution that occurred in connection with [the stoning of] Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia and Cyprus and Antioch, without telling the message [of salvation through Christ] to anyone except Jews.

But there were some of them, men of Cyprus and Cyrene, who came to Antioch and began speaking to the Greeks as well, proclaiming [to them] the good news about the Lord Jesus.

And the hand (the power and presence) of the Lord was with them, and a great number who believed turned to the Lord [for salvation, accepting and drawing near to Jesus as Messiah and Savior].
ACTS 11:19‭-‬21 AMP

Be Encouraged! Striving For A Crown!

When you are striving for a crown, there is no room to waver. You must dig in your heel or else like Peter, you might sink. Matthew 14: 29 “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. 30 But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!”

Discouragement will definitely come from different avenues. The facts of life will buffet you with tempest, other forces will band together to wear you out, cause fear, all this is to weary you out, to take your eyes off your goal.

1 Corinthians 9: 26 do not run like someone running aimlessly; do not fight like a boxer beating the air.

Stay committed till the end!

Just An Encounter!

Saul was zealous for religion! He almost missed the mark until he had an encounter, a personal relationship with the power of resurrection Himself – Christ Jesus! Acts 9

You “Saints”, Bishop, Pastor, Reverend, Preacher, Evangelist – Title holders, followers of “GO’s, Pew members in Churches, Temples, Synagogues, etcetera! Have you had an encounter with the Prince of Peace Himself?

Do you really know the Lord? Do you know who you are “WORKING” for? Do you know what drives your zeal?

Stop where you are and ask for an encounter with The Power of Resurrection Himself!

You sure will not remain thesame!

You cannot have an encounter and still be thesame! It’s impossible!

An encounter with Jesus Christ brings transformation.

Not only to your bank account, relationship with others, and so on, but much more in your heart!

You become a new being! Continuously being transformed – 2 Corinthians 5:17

Wondering Why? Great Purpose!

Sometimes I wonder! I wonder why God will send you somewhere, and it’s not a palatable place!

Why will God give a loved and cherished daughter and son such burden to carry?

I mean! Why send me to a place where I am not welcome. Why send me to a land where I can barely stand?

This is exactly what God did to Father Abraham. He brought him there as a foretaste of what iis promised.

Have you been sent to a rough terrain and beginning to doubt if you heard right?

Study Abraham, David, Daniel, Ruth, Esther, Tamar, and Joseph!

God has a purpose and a plan in place! Be Still!!

“”and He said to him, ‘Leave your country and your relatives , and come to the land that I will show you .’

Then he left the land of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. And from there, after his father died, God sent him to this country in which you now live.

But He did not give him inheritable property, not even enough ground to take a step on, yet He promised that He would give it to Him as a possession , and to his descendants after him . ACTS 7:3‭-‬5 AMP

God’s promises ALWAYS get fulfilled. Be rest assured it will all make sense soon. As at this timtime Abraham had no child!

What promise have you received and questioning God in your heart, “how can these things be?” “How will God bring it to pass?”

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding! What (God)He says, comes to pass!!!!!
