As one year draws to an end, and another is approaching, we often look back, most often in regret of what we planned to do but failed to execute.

#2018 does not have to be like #2017!

We can start now by having a “workable” realistic plan, and following through. Keyword is #followthrough.

Reason For This Season!

Do you have a relationship with Jesus Christ? Are your sins washed away by his blood? Praise God! If not, today is the day to forsake sin and embrace life in Christ Jesus.

Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior.  You will appreciate this season even better.

Store Up Treasures Where It’s Safe!

Matthew 6:19 “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth.

Give of yourself, love the unloveable, forgive the unforgivable, let love, joy, and peace manifest in you that others may see and glorify Christ.

Share the gospel this season! Tell the world of the reason for this season! Proclaim to everyone about the treasure of salvation found in Christ Jesus alone.

Staying Power!

“Following Christ demands that we deny ourself of certain desires and lusts, take up our cross daily by being ready to live sacrificial life that he demands, and put your feet where He trod, while carefully studying the paths that He walked 1 Peter 2:21”  Open Heavens Devotional

I have desires, pressing desires that I can embrace totally and it would be met, yet I deny myself daily to please my master. I deny myself of some pleasure so that I may thread where He throd.

All things are lawful, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not. 1 Corinthians10:23. If you read to verse 29 you’ll realize that being Christ disciple demands so much more than looking out for oneself!

So when next you are about to speak, write, preach, take any action, think! There are countless of souls affected by you, starting from your wards, those within your spheres of influence! What are you feeding them? Life or death to thier spirit man?
