Judgement Upon The Wicked

Let the wicked forsake their evil ways The Word says in Isaiah 55:7 Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon.

Proverbs 11:21 Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free.

The Church of God stated in The Destiny of The Wicked thus:

Degrees of Punishment

“”The Bible also teaches that there will be degrees of punishment. Paul says that in the day of judgment God will “render to every man according to his deeds” (Rom. 2:6). Men become doubly responsible by the light which they receive. Jesus says, “If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin” (John 15:22). “That sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful” (Rom. 7:13). Christ said to Pilate, “He that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin” (John 19:11).

Since our sins are estimated in accordance with the light received, our punishment also will be regulated accordingly. For this reason Peter says concerning backsliders, “It had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment” (II Pet. 2:21). “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.… Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God?” (Heb. 10:26, 29). The greater the light and knowledge possessed, the greater the responsibility. (See Matt. 11:20-24; 23:14.)

From the foregoing texts we see that men will be rewarded “according to their works,” that some will receive a “sorer punishment” and “greater damnation” than others, and that it will be “more tolerable” for some people than it will be for others. But all these degrees will be in accordance with the light received and rejected.””

Think of if friends, is it really worth it? A pot of porridge for your glorious destiny like Esau? Thirst and demand for adulation of Haman brought him humiliation and death.  Will you quit striving with your maker and yield your heart in obedience wholeheartedly unto the Lord?

Forsake your evil ways, purge wickedness from within you and seek the Lord while He may be found. Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. Salvation, genuine repentance is freely given to you today. At no cost to you friends, think about this. for wickedness cost you your life eternity unending. Think about this and repent today.

sinners prayerWhenever there is sin and disobedience to the Will of God, our loving Father in Heaven sends correction our ways. It may seem like a road block, a slippery slope, bondage and imprisonment, it could be a trip or a fall facedown. The consequences of sin is never palatable.

I am not proposing that every affliction is as a result of the sin of an individual or collective always. The wicked also sows tares while men slept! He will also curry for permission to stike as he did Job. However, the root cause of all suffering still remains sin- sin of the first man, the sins of the Father’s!

Friends, please be aware still, that God is a good God, He will RESTORE! He will be angry but for a short moment, it may cause grievous pain, yet His mercy will speak. God will not utterly deal with US the way we deserve but with outstretched hands will He gather US. He will gather US unto Himself with Love. All we need to do is ask for mercy! Repent today of your sins and let God’slove redeem you from a life of sin-waste.

God’s promises for you and I are thus: Jeremiah 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name; 3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. 4 For thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword; 5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city. 6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth. 7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first. 8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.

Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Remember The Past! See God?

More often than not, we are taught to forget the past so that we can live presently and can have a future.  I however have realized that if I don’t visit my past every now and then, I don’t see God’s mighty hand clearly as I should.

You see, when I look back, it reminds me of where I was and how God moved me from there to here, and gives me a glimpse of where He is lovingly taking me too. The awesomeness of a loving Father leading me reluctantly as I was from unhappiness, dirt, and failure to joy, cleanliness, and success.

god-is-ableKing David always looked back to his days as a Sheppard boy. How God brought him from there to kill a giant and ultimately make him the King of the great nation, God’s own people of Israel. He was able to praise God more than any other person in the Scriptures.

I found out that when we forget where we are coming from as a people, we forget about the Sovereignty of God our Savior in our lives .  We often fall into the error of self sufficiency in living, ordering our lives to please ourselves. We forget like the rich fool that our days are numbered and should be lived for God’s glory.

Remembering the difficult situations and circumstances I had faced, how God showed up and broke through, humbles me and gives me hope that no matter what, when storms rage outside, within, all around, whenever, however, God who did it before will calm this one also.

All the near tragedies of youths, the wickedness that would have ended the precious life of a five year old, the exuberance of teenagers, the experimental ‘wisdom’ of young adulthood, choices made, mistake made, action taken, steps that would have ended it all, but God in His infinite mercy stepped in and turned everything around for His glory. I must never ever forget that. Thank you Lord!

Remembering keeps me grounded, it helps me not to think too highly of myself, it helps me to forgive, for I have been forgiven much, it helps me to be more sensitive to others needs.

The past gives meaning to the present and shows a glimpse of the beauty of the future – only when you have come to the awareness of The Sovereign God ruling in the affairs of man though.

No happenstance in destiny. It is planned and executed by heaven, so save yourself unnecessary agony and yield your all to Jesus Christ today. Acknowledge your sinful nature, repent, ask for forgiveness, invite Jesus into your life as Lord and Saviour, put Him in the driver seat of your life!

Praise God, for your life will never remain the same.  As you grow in the spirit your capacity to see, hear and understand will increase and you will be able to make sense of living life, for it is for a higher purpose beyond here and now! Eternity with Christ, and damnation is real!  Your choice friends!!!!!!!

I pray you choose the Lord Jesus today!

Peace be unto you!

What Lies Within! Must Be Birthed!

what lies within us

There is tremendous greatness within you and I friends. When we invite Him who created us for His pleasure into our space great things happen. You haven’t achieved much until you give your ALL to your maker. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man, And the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. 9 great men are not always wise, Nor do the aged always understand justice.

When you enlist in the army of the Most High God you begin to become who you were created to be – a vessel of honor through whom blessings flow. 2 Corinthians 4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.

Will you come to Jesus Christ today to have your sins washed away, your life redeemed, restored, and rediscovered – the purpose of your being. Great things lies within you, treasures that need to be discovered, polished and released for your joy to be full and be a blessing to many.

Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him – John 14:6

Peace be unto you!!!
