Marriage: Just Jesus- Answers For Life
Marriage mirrors God’s covenant love for us as in the union between Jesus and His church.
God’s purpose or intention for marriage is companionship that reflects His love.
God is not alone nor does He want us to be alone. Learn to live out the capacities God designed for you and bring them into your marriage.
Sacrificial relationship leads to deep and lasting love. It’s what makes marriage not easy, but safe.
Respect and appreciate each other with kindness and understanding.
We all have different gifts that we bring into relationship. No two marriages look alike. What’s good for one may not be good for another.
What matters are not external appearances, but rather heart issues.
Working out our life issues in a covenant relationship is the safest place for transformation.
No one will speak truth to you like your spouse.
Marriage is the crucible of life transformation.
Does your marriage mirror God’s love?

You Can Talk! He Listens! He Will Act!
It’s that moment again! I don’t know about you, but sometimes, just to be sure, I ask God, “is that you?” You know those time when you are not very sure of yourself. I mean you know you heard quite alright, or maybe saw clearly, or better still something was impressed on your mind, a word from the scripture, a message stamped on your heart, beating so loudly!
Yet, you are like, is that you Lord? You know it is not from Satan, because you know He will fight to steal or tamper with whatever will be against him! Still, you want to be sure, it is not your head playing tricks on you. You want to be sure this is God. You ask, like many others before you for a sign. Like Gibeon in Judges 6, you want God to show you a sign that He is really the one speaking, and not a lying Spirit, the Spirit of error, or zeal motivated by self – what’s in it for me?.
Judges 6: 36 So Gideon said to God, “If You will save Israel by my hand as You have said— 37 look, I shall put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor; if there is dew on the fleece only, and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will save Israel by my hand, as You have said.” 38 And it was so. When he rose early the next morning and squeezed the fleece together, he wrung the dew out of the fleece, a bowlful of water. 39 Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me, but let me speak just once more: Let me test, I pray, just once more with the fleece; let it now be dry only on the fleece, but on all the ground let there be dew.” 40 And God did so that night. It was dry on the fleece only, but there was dew on all the ground.
In my case, I said to God, why are you keeping silent? Talk to me! I heard Him speak right away, not like in recent times, so I was like, is that you Lord?. He responded right away! So I said, show me a sign that you are the one really talking to me and not myself talking to myself! I do speak to myself! Crazy right? Well, my spirit talks to my soul and my soul moves my body as required. So I do talk to myself! You will catch that one day!
So the Lord asked me a question! What do you see on your horizon? I answered right away without so much as a thought. God said that is Me. You would not have been able to see what your saw without Me with you!
So friends, what do you see on your horizon? Can you see at all? Is it clear or blurry? Talk to God about it! He is readily available to calm your fears and strengthen you with might by His Holy Spirit in your inner man – Ephesian 3:16. You must be born again though! You must consciously cultivate a relationship with Jesus Christ. Ask Him into your heart, to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness. Tell Him to come and abide with you. Oh, friends, He really wants to be with you! Jesus Christ is the friend that sticks closer than a brother – Proverbs 18:24. Talk to Him right now!
Shalom! Shalom! Shalom!
Contentment! Great Gain!
1 Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.
10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.11 But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. 1 Timothy 6:10-12
Blessed is the man who is content with such as he has. Greed eats the soul up. Like the grave, nothing satisfy the shallow. In plenty they are never satisfied, devoid of peace in the inward being. ☀Radiant Glory
Only Christ Can Satisfy!
Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! Psalms 34:8
Many a time we crave for something so much that we will do whatever to have it. Then comes the opportuned time, the appointed season that this “thing”, whatever it means to you gets into your possession. Then what? That’s it? You ask yourself! Your desire is satisfied temporarily and the emptiness or lack of it ensued. You lived in expectation of earning a six figure and finally, you’re in that bracket and you found out the ecstasy soon waned and you seize feeling any joy.
Not with our God! Not with the Lord Jesus Christ, that your soul has been craving for a long time, even without your knowing why and what was missing. You just knew something else needs to be in for it to feel right. Friends, we were created by God for Himself, every single one of us has this space in us that was placed there by the Porter Himself when we were been molded that only Him can fill up.
No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done, how far you’ve gone away from Him, your achievement, attainment and endowment, without Jesus Christ in the center of your being, and a personal relationship with Him, you will be empty and miserable, devoid of real joy and satisfaction, but wait a minute. It does not have to be so!! You can experience Him. Yes! You can experience Jesus Christ today. Guess what? You will yearn and thirst for fellowship with Him even more.
Come today friends to drink from the well of life that can never run dry. Come and quench your thirst! Come to be filled with overflowing joy in the presence of Christ Jesus today. Come to the cross at Calvary!!! Accept Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. Invite Him to come into your heart, let him fill that void in your heart. Jesus loves you with an everlasting love. Confess your sins and let go of it for while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, therefore live for Him henceforth in holiness, body, soul, and spirit! Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Peace be with you!!!
