God speaks! Are we listening? Are we heeding the words of His Word? Our God speaks in diverse ways, The Word, inner witness of the Holy Spirit, dreams,visions, and even in audible voice, one on one with His beloved children. He loves mankind so much that He raised prophets in the old testament until the fulness of the coming of the Saviour Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ, the embodiment of the old and new, and the culmination of a better covenant through His blood shed on the cross for the remission of sins for the whole world. Matthew 26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
The apostle John who wrote the book of Revelation, on the Island of Patmos, he had vivid and symbolic visions of God. Revelations 1:9 I, John, both your brother and companion in the tribulation and kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was on the island that is called Patmos for the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day, and I heard behind me a loud voice, as of a trumpet, 11 saying, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia: to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”12 Then I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 ……….17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death. 19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.
Jeremiah started with the Lord at a young age, the scripture recorded that before he was born the Lord knew Him. Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” 6 Then said I: “Ah, Lord God! Behold, I cannot speak, for I am a youth.” 7 But the Lord said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ For you shall go to all to whom I send you, And whatever I command you, you shall speak. 8 Do not be afraid of their faces, For I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord.
Friends, as it was in the beginning, so is now, and forever shall it be world without end. Joel 2:28 “And it shall come to pass afterward, That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth:
The Lord is waiting on US all to yield ourselves under His mighty arms, so He can reveal deep things unto us. Are we daily yielding to the Holy Spirit? Are we mindful of His presence and sovereignty? God wants to commune with us, showing us great and mighty things in His Word, Our World and the World to Come.
Realign yourself with the truth of His Word in submission and obedience. You are precious in God’s eyes!!!!!
