A kindred spirit! What is that? A kindred spirit refers to having same beliefs, attitudes, or feelings. Someone who likes or cares about the same things as you do. It refers to being like minded.

To be like minded, having a kindred spirit is not limited to men as buddies or women as friends/ soul sisters. It transcends gender and it is not erotic.
