Don’t You Be Afraid!

There was no account of The Lord Jesus ever being afraid in the Scriptures. He was not afraid even when faced with contrary forces. He was not afraid of his death, though he agonized over it in the presence of The Father and the Holy Spirit. Matthew 25:36-46

What am I getting at here? It is that you and I ought not be afraid of anything, big or small, or anyone for that matter.

We are to emulate the Lord Jesus in every situation. Jesus was always calm, in his calmness he spoke, and the raging storm heard and quietened. Mark 4:34

Be still and know that I am God. Psalms 46:10

Friends, do not be afraid because God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7
