Discerning the Times and Seasons of God

Ecclesiastes 3:1

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”

There are seasons when God speaks loudly, and there are seasons when He draws us inward. This is a season of alignment, repentance, and renewal. Not because God has changed—but because He is calling His people back into order.

Alignment is not adjustment. It is positioning. It is bringing our hearts, thoughts, and actions back under the authority of God.

Alignment Begins With God, Not Our Plans

Proverbs 3:5–6

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

Misalignment often happens quietly. It begins when we move ahead of God, justify disobedience, or prioritize convenience over conviction. Alignment requires humility. It requires surrender.

The question is not are you busy?
The question is are you aligned?

Repentance: Returning the Heart to God

Joel 2:12–13

“Turn ye even to me with all your heart… and rend your heart, and not your garments.”

Repentance is not condemnation. It is correction. It is not shame-driven; it is mercy-led. True repentance is not merely feeling sorry—it is changing direction.

God is not asking for outward performance. He is asking for inward transformation.

Repentance clears the heart so alignment can be restored.

Renewal Comes After Surrender

Romans 12:2

“And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…”

Renewal is the result of yielded hearts. It is God restoring clarity where there was confusion, strength where there was weariness, and obedience where there was resistance.

Renewal does not mean returning to what was—it means becoming what God intended.

A Call to Rebuild the Altar

1 Kings 18:30

“Come near unto me. And all the people came near unto him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down.”

Before fire fell, the altar was repaired. God is calling His people back to the altar—back to prayer, back to reverence, back to obedience.

Fire follows order.

Walking Forward Renewed and Aligned

Isaiah 30:21

“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it…”

This season is not about rushing ahead. It is about walking rightly. It is about hearing God clearly and responding promptly.

Alignment brings peace.
Repentance brings freedom.
Renewal brings strength.

A Seasonal Reflection

This is a moment to pause and ask:
What needs to be realigned?
What needs to be released?
What needs to be renewed?

God restores those who return to Him.

Closing Prayer

Father God,
We recognize this as a season of alignment, repentance, and renewal. Search our hearts and reveal anything that is out of order. We turn back to You with humility and trust.

Realign our desires with Your will. Renew our minds by Your truth. Restore the fire on our altar and help us to walk in obedience.

We yield to Your process and trust Your leading.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.

Shalom!
