For His Names’ Sake!

Remember that God’s intention and will for you is not because of You, but of Him. It is for His great name! Ezekiel 36:22 “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone.  Quit beating yourself and embrace the unconditional love of God. Do not take this love for granted though!

don't quitNow that you know God loves you unconditionally, then you must contend against everything mitigating against your peace, message, recipients, channel, and circumstances. You must wage war against every encumbrance within and without.

I was speaking with a dear brother of mine just yesterday about some things. Having faced resistance all this while, I was beginning to think that maybe I am a bad person! Maybe I am too difficult and all sort I said! I was beginning to internalise what I have been experiencing and this is exactly what the enemy of our soul wants. Are the events, people and situation around gaslighting you? Take a cue from Jeremiah 29:11

I was able to get out of that phase by the help of the Holy Spirit, by putting the spotlight on Gods’ Will, Plan, Purpose, and desire for me. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Resistance is a ploy to wear you out so your dreams can die and he, the devil can gloat over you.

You have to desperately contend for your life, your message, your purpose, your destiny for it to be fulfilled. You must never lose hope on the journey. Keep taking steps after steps, trusting God even when you do not see any cloud of the promised rain.

Dear friends, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3: 5 and 6. Every promise shall be fulfilled. Stay focus!

The Blood Still Works!

Hebrew 9: 11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. 13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. 14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

The blood works! The blood of Jesus Christ works wonders all the time!

Oh, how the devil comes, to see the edge broken so he can strike. The enemy goes up and down looking for that who will step out of line, stretch forth hands to commit evil so it can strike. He forgot the light of God’s countenance is always upon and about all that belongs to the Lord. The Lord will never leave and forsake His own, in the stormy seas of life, fiery furnace of trials and tribulations, in the valley and rough places the blood still speaks.

The blood of Jesus Christ is powerful to save from the strongest foe, gentle to heal a broken heart, flush out demonic deposit in arteries and every organ in your body, pump life into your heart and restore fire in your bones. The blood of my Savior Jesus Christ is a miracle working blood.

Had he known, he would not have permitted it on Calvary’s Tree! Alas, an antidote to all of the wiles of the wicked is here! The blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, God made flesh and dwells amongst us.

Friends, avail yourself of this miracle working power. You must be born again! You must ask for the forgiveness of all your sins and ask Christ into your heart. Forsake your evil ways and cling unto every word of God.

Jesus is Lord!!!

Manipulating Facts!

Friends, be cautious with those that will use the facts of your life to justify their wickedness. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!- 2 Corinthians 5:17  You my friend, have been transformed, you are bearing fruit and your fruit is abiding. You are growing and having impact in your sphere of influence. You are standing for truth, justice, and dignity of others. You are upholding sound doctrine, rebuking evil, a shining light in darkness, a voice for the voiceless and walking uprightly minding the business of the Holy Spirit. You have just become a target for Satan. Oh! How He will rise up against you and bring up your past against you. If you do not stand right before God, you will cringe before Satan.manipulator

Paul and Silas are Jews quite alright and were Romans citizen also. However, I want to direct your attention to Act 16:16 -19. They stood against divination which the Lord was against. Those profiting by it brought up allegations that as Jews they have come to impose Jewish custom on Romans. The wicked will manipulatively use something in your past, the facts of your life to justify to perpetrate evil against you.

Act 16:16 Once when we were going to the place of prayer, we were met by a female slave who had a spirit by which she predicted the future. She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17 She followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, “These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved.” 18 She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit, “In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

19 When her owners realized that their hope of making money was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to face the authorities. 20 They brought them before the magistrates and said, “These men are Jews, and are throwing our city into an uproar 21 by advocating customs unlawful for us Romans to accept or practice.”

You will be lied against, accused, oppressed and denied your right to freely be and participate in rendering service where you have been planted. Your accuser will unabashedly without remorse spread evil report to solicit support from all and sundry. You have to resist! Vehemently stand, unwavering in your faith, prayerfully trusting God for help, without which the wicked will succeed in tarnishing your good name. You must not permit that for if you do not stand for truth and justice, you are standing for evil. There is no middle ground.

Come to think of it, the people of the city had not yet encounter Paul and Silas but this guy was able to persuade them to rise up against Paul and Silas! How many Saints have you been manipulated to ill treat? How many have you manipulated others to kill? When you spread evil/slander about someone, you are killing their character.

Father Lord Almighty, we ask that you will forgive us this day our trespasses even as we forgive those who trespass against us, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from all evil we pray in Christ Jesus mighty name. Amen

Herod!!! Repent!

Brothers and sisters!!! My religious family and friends!!! Christians!!! Born again tongue talking fire brand!!! How often have we supported evil in the guise of upholding a creed? How many souls, precious to Christ have we handed over to Satan? We count the 99 sheep in house while Christ Jesus is looking for that one lost sheep! You know that lone ranger? The one lost sheep, blind and can’t find the way home? Yes! That is the one Christ is looking for!!!

When we neglect to stand up for truth, fairness, justice and love, we are giving room to the enemy to steal, kill and destroy like King Herod did with James in Act 12:1-3 12 It was about this time that King Herod arrested some who belonged to the church, intending to persecute them. He had James, the brother of John, put to death with the sword. When he saw that this met with approval among the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This happened during the Festival of Unleavened Bread. After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.

Oh! How it pleased the Jews, the deacons and deaconesses, Pastors, Prophets, Bishops, General Overseers, bench warmers, lay men and women, you and I that, that trouble maker of a man or woman, shouting “Jesus is the Way, the Truth and Life. No one comes to the Father except by Him – John 14:6” has been seized and killed.

What a nuisance, loud mouthed, shouting the name of that carpenter whenever we are going to the synagogue for worship and sacrifice! What peace we have now they  must have said to each other!

What peace indeed!! Friends, when you see evil perpetrated in your presence and sit passively doing nothing you are in support and will answer for it on judgement day unless you repent today.

God is about to do a new thing! You have all heard and read about it, but are your prepared? Are your garment washed and cleansed by the blood of Jesus?

God is about to do a new thing! Herod is about to be put down for the Word of God to spread like never before. Power is changing hands! There is a shift in the realm of the spirit but are we ready Pastor, Bishop, Apostle, brothers, sisters, lay men and women alike? Am I ready? How about you?

Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course. It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.

Greatness Out Of Smallness!

Mark 8:17-21 Aware of the discussion among his disciples, Jesus asked them “Do you still not see or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes but fail to see, and ears but fail to  hear? And don’t you remember?……”

Embrace Greatness!
Embrace Greatness!

Jesus was referring to how he gave thanks unto the Father and used five loaves of bread and two small fish to feed five thousand people, and seven loaves of bread and few small fish to feed four thousand people. On both occasion there were left over.

Jesus is the master multiplier. If you let him, allow him to partner with you, he will take that which seems insignificant in your hands and use it to do mighty things. He did it for the the widow of a Prophet when he turned a small jar of olive oil in the hand of a poor widow into an oil depot, an oil making plant, from lack and insufficiency into abundance. 2 Kings 4:1-7

Will you give what you have in your hands, your talent, gifts, time ….. all to Jesus today. Let him transform it – multiply, perfect it and use it for your benefit, humanity, Church and the glory of the Father in heaven.

Be a vessel of honor in Christ hands, a channel of blessing, a thirst quencher. Let Jesus use your sorrow in time past to bring hope and joy to those that are sorrowful. Let Christ use your pain to soothe and heal, to bring solace to many. Yield your boat to the master like Peter, become fishers of men.

Allow Jesus to take hold of your gifts and talent to bring terror to the kingdom of darkness and salvation to the lost.

Yield your life today – your all, make it count. Jesus is Lord.

Samson – The Anointed, Great, and Mighty.

Judges 16: 1- end.  The Story of Samson

Lean not on your own understanding.... Trust God.
Lean not on your own understanding…. Trust God.

God had spoken to his mother before his conception. God also revealed Himself to both parent, instructing them how to care for this anointed child. Samson was anointed from the womb, yet he grew up doing everything contrary to the commandments of God. Sexual immorality was his undoing. It cost Samson his eyes and life ultimately. He lost touch with the Holy Spirit of the living God that had been abiding in him even before he was born.

Samson did achieve the purpose for which he was born, which was to destroy the very fabric of the Philistines power and dominion over Israel – God’s own possession. He destroyed the Lord’s enemy – Israel’s cruel oppressor.

Oh Samson! Samson! He would have still destroyed Philistines power and rule over Israel and lived, had he not an insatiable desires for strange women.

You see, friends, there will always be something, issues, desires contending for our life and destiny. God has great, wonderful, and beautiful plan for His children. The wicked one also has plans to kill, steal and destroy. Therefore, there is conflict from within and without. Even after salvation, believers still struggle to stand in the Word in righteousness because of the demand of the flesh over the mind.

In the case of Samson, it was women – beautiful women. In our case, there are many – handsome men, power, money, anger, pride, greed, envy, gluttony, hatred, gossip, snitching, backbiting, loose tongue, controlling others free will by all means and so on. These can, and is capable of pushing us out of God’s plan and purpose for our existence.

Friends, will you join me in sober reflection, to identify the sins that easily befalls, and take it to God in prayer. Put a system in place by the Holy Spirit so that you will not trip – fall or fail in your walk in the Spirit. It is do-able friends, we have a great and loving advocate in Jesus Christ who is daily interceding for us (I John 2:1,John 14: 16 and 26). Ministering Spirits are released when we pray to God from our heart to help and assist us in this walk of destiny (Hebrew 1:14).

The bible says, without holiness no one shall see God (Hebrew 12:14). We have the Holy Spirit to help us, we have provision, we are not stranded, nor left as orphans to navigate the treacherous path of life. Let us therefore, hold unto our confession of faith, praying earnestly that we will not be deceived by the deceitfulness of  sin and the transient glitter of this present world.

Repent therefore and be cleansed, renewed, restored, rejuvenated, and elevated to a position from which you and I are able to offer acceptable sacrifice, service, worship, and praise to the Most High God, King Eternal, Only Wise God, All Sufficient and All Encompassing God world without end. Amen
