Weapons Of The Enemy! Decree The Truth!

When the enemy has tried every weapon he has to shut you out of what God intends for you and fails. He will try to keep your mouth shut from decreeing and declaring the word, with fear, for faith MUST be spoken for it to take wings! ☀Radiant Glory

YOU shall decree a thing and it shall be established! Speak the word and you shall be made whole.

Unclean Lips Sanctified!

Isaiah 6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Luke 12:9 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:12:9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:12:12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

Jeremiah 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Psalms 81:10 I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt: open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Spiritual Warfare In The Mind!

Spiritual Warfare is initiated in the realm of the Spirit and only by the spirit of God can we discern before it comes to the realm of the physical. Spiritual Warfare starts from the mind before it manifests in the physical. The devil and his fallen angels as stated in the Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E. A. Adeboye today says “Satan and his fallen angels are organized into a well-coordinated army that is skillful in carrying out devastating attacks on their victims.”

spiritual-warfare-training-battlefield-of-the-mind-part-3-pastor-ameerah-10-638Spiritual attacks often start in a subtle way. It starts from the mind. As a beautiful young woman, you may look in the mirror one day and see a flaw, a wrinkle, pimple or something and the enemy will whisper ugly! Or be at a doctors office, making arrangement for a scheduled casual procedure and you hear a voice from within saying ” the day of your death”. Or you may look at a brother, a sister, a child, your spouse and feel disgust towards them. Mind you, they haven’t done anything, and you don’t know why, but you just feel disgusted.

The devil can blind you from seeing the beauty of God in yourself, he can bring fear into your life, and unnecessary hatred towards others. He achieves this at your mind level, and if not countered with the word of God, will degenerate into full-blown self-loathing, bondage to fear, and wickedness towards others.

This is the reason why believers should measure our thoughts by the yardstick of  Philippians 4:8 whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.

Capture-3

We must daily remind ourselves according to 2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. Do you look at things according to the outward appearance?

You should not anymore. The battle being fought is against the devil, not those individuals opposing you. You should know that before people start speaking ill of you, Satan must have gone sowing seeds in the minds of those without the Holy Spirit as guards over their ears and heart. You deal with the devil by the blood of Jesus and the word of your testimony – Revelation 12:11

We need to constantly renew our minds by the word of God so we will not give room to the enemy to build a stronghold in our minds – Romans 12:2

Avoiding Pitfalls With Utterances!

It is a wise thing to learn to be careful with our words. To speak without a filter before God shows the level of our reverence for God. If we revere God as we profess, it will show in our actions. We will mince our words especially when it carries grave meaning and consequence in order not to wound others. At the same time, we need to be careful of mincing words so much so that we eliminate truth outrightly. The truth still needs to be told in its truest form.

Leadership with understanding was lacking in King Saul. On the one hand, he wants to be the peoples King, pleasing and accepted by Israel, at the expense of his reverence for God, neglecting the commandment of God. What is popular with the masses does not mean it is sanctioned by heaven. We need to strike a balance between serving people and serving God acceptably.

King Saul did not inquire of the Lord before uttering the vow of abstinence from food. If he had inquired, I believe God would have told him these people are hungry and fearful, placing a curse on them would make their dire situation even worst. King Saul’s utterance that day capped the victory God had earmarked for the whole of Israel that day for they were too weak to pursue Philistines further, and he also made the people sin against God, in that they ate meat with its blood.

1 Samuel 14: 28 Then one of the people said, “Your father strictly charged the people with an oath, saying, ‘Cursed is the man who eats food this day.’” And the people were faint. 29 But Jonathan said, “My father has troubled the land. Look now, how my countenance has brightened because I tasted a little of this honey. 30 How much better if the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies which they found! For now would there not have been a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?” 31 Now they had driven back the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon. So the people were very faint32 And the people rushed on the spoil, and took sheep, oxen, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground; and the people ate them with the blood. 33 Then they told Saul, saying, “Look, the people are sinning against the Lord by eating with the blood!” So he said, “You have dealt treacherously; roll a large stone to me this day.” 34 Then Saul said, “Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, ‘Bring me here every man’s ox and every man’s sheep, slaughter them here, and eat; and do not sin against the Lord by eating with the blood.’” So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night and slaughtered it there. 35 Then Saul built an altar to the Lord. This was the first altar that he built to the Lord.

Father Lord, give us understanding and wisdom to live a life that is worthy of your calling.

Broken Vessels In The Hand Of The Porter!

You never can tell what God will do with your life. You might have lost yourself, far away from being found, hopeless and left for dead! But wait! At the scent of water, the dead tree will bud again. You will be found! Love will find you! Don’t give in just yet!

Job 14:7“ For there is hope for a tree,
If it is cut down, that it will sprout again,
And that its tender shoots will not cease.
Though its root may grow old in the earth,
And its stump may die in the ground,
Yet at the scent of water, it will bud
And bring forth branches like a plant.

How much more you! Beloved of God, purchased with a price, the ultimate price of the blood of Jesus Christ. As long as there’s breathe in you, there’s hope for a change of story for you. You can still be what you are created to be. You will fulfill your God-ordained, heaven designed, angels supported destiny. Decide that your life is worth it and it is!

It does not matter how far you have walked away from the original plan of God for you. You may not know you’ve gone too far, but God knows and He is willing, ready, capable, and committed to ensuring you get back on track. God will never fail you. He only needs you to turn back like the prodigal son – Luke 15:11-32, come home, be reconciled with your maker.

” The Bible NEVER flatters its heroes. It tells us the truth about each one of them in order that against the background of human breakdown and failure we may magnify the grace of God and recognize that it is the delight of the Spirit of God to work upon the platform of human impossibilities.”

The Man/Woman Preferred Of God!

When God has chosen you, heaven and earth can do nothing except to oblige. The Lord will order your steps through the mountains and hills, the plains and the rough places for He is the I AM! He will guide you to your desired place.

The I Am will do wonders in your life that will baffle all including yourself. Note that you did nothing to attract God’s anointing, it was His prerogative to choose whom He will, and looking through the Scriptures and history, there’s none called by God without a hitch. For Saul, it was low self-esteem. He was taller than any of the people from his shoulders upward – 1 Samuel 10:23, yet he was so unsure of himself even after having been anointed secretly, and prophesying publicly, he hid among the equipment!

light in the clayNothing can hide you if God has chosen you. The failed marriages of the Samaritan woman did not hide her, it led her to the well that day. I know that there were many married women in that city. Many wives of the Pharisees, Sadducees and the Scribes, but none went down to the well to meet with Jesus. The facts of your life cannot stop you fulfilling what the Lord ordained for you either. Satan will whisper though, he will taunt you no doubt about that! Don’t allow your mind to play tricks on you, neither allow any human to limit you. Fight for your destiny. Resist till the end!

How often have you and I looked at ourselves and think, maybe God made a mistake? Every single Prophet and deliverer in the Scriptures thought so about themselves except a handful. God is not looking for perfection in human character or personality, He looks for the availability of the soul. Unfortunately human look at what can be seen with the eyes. Only the discerning can see as Samuel did and foretold accurately!

St Thomas Aquinas

1 Samuel 10:1- 11 Then Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: “Is it not because the Lord has anointed you commander over His inheritance? 2 …………….Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man. And let it be, when these signs come to you, that you do as the occasion demands; for God is with you. You shall go down before me to Gilgal, and surely I will come down to you to offer burnt offerings and make sacrifices of peace offerings. Seven days you shall wait, till I come to you and show you what you should do.” So it was when he had turned his back to go from Samuel, that God gave him another heart; and all those signs came to pass that day. 10 When they came there to the hill, there was a group of prophets to meet him; then the Spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them11 And it happened when all who knew him formerly saw that he indeed prophesied among the prophets, that the people said to one another,What is this that has come upon the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets? 12 Then a man from there answered and said, “But who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb: “Is Saul also among the prophets?” 13 And when he had finished prophesying, he went to the high place.

Be encouraged and ask God to show you a true picture of yourself. Ask God to open your eyes to the secret things that will make a difference in your life, and help you to make a difference in your community like the Samaritan woman. — Culled from Open Heavens Devotional by Pastor E.A.
