Let The Fire Fall!

You are in your raw state my friend if you are yet to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

You are good as you are here on earth, but stubble, waste, for here after. In this state, you cannot leave an enduring legacy, and damned to eternal darkness.

If you are willing to open your heart for Christ to come in, if you #LetTheFireFall, you will be purified and made whole, fit for the Master’s Kingdom, with the assurance of eternal bliss in the presence of the bright and morning star, Jesus Christ, the King Eternal.

#LetTheFireFall on you friend! Let your heart be transformed! #BeBornAgain.

Avoiding Pitfalls With Utterances!

It is a wise thing to learn to be careful with our words. To speak without a filter before God shows the level of our reverence for God. If we revere God as we profess, it will show in our actions. We will mince our words especially when it carries grave meaning and consequence in order not to wound others. At the same time, we need to be careful of mincing words so much so that we eliminate truth outrightly. The truth still needs to be told in its truest form.

Leadership with understanding was lacking in King Saul. On the one hand, he wants to be the peoples King, pleasing and accepted by Israel, at the expense of his reverence for God, neglecting the commandment of God. What is popular with the masses does not mean it is sanctioned by heaven. We need to strike a balance between serving people and serving God acceptably.

King Saul did not inquire of the Lord before uttering the vow of abstinence from food. If he had inquired, I believe God would have told him these people are hungry and fearful, placing a curse on them would make their dire situation even worst. King Saul’s utterance that day capped the victory God had earmarked for the whole of Israel that day for they were too weak to pursue Philistines further, and he also made the people sin against God, in that they ate meat with its blood.

1 Samuel 14: 28 Then one of the people said, “Your father strictly charged the people with an oath, saying, ‘Cursed is the man who eats food this day.’” And the people were faint. 29 But Jonathan said, “My father has troubled the land. Look now, how my countenance has brightened because I tasted a little of this honey. 30 How much better if the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies which they found! For now would there not have been a much greater slaughter among the Philistines?” 31 Now they had driven back the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon. So the people were very faint32 And the people rushed on the spoil, and took sheep, oxen, and calves, and slaughtered them on the ground; and the people ate them with the blood. 33 Then they told Saul, saying, “Look, the people are sinning against the Lord by eating with the blood!” So he said, “You have dealt treacherously; roll a large stone to me this day.” 34 Then Saul said, “Disperse yourselves among the people, and say to them, ‘Bring me here every man’s ox and every man’s sheep, slaughter them here, and eat; and do not sin against the Lord by eating with the blood.’” So every one of the people brought his ox with him that night and slaughtered it there. 35 Then Saul built an altar to the Lord. This was the first altar that he built to the Lord.

Father Lord, give us understanding and wisdom to live a life that is worthy of your calling.

The Pulpit! Your Platform!

A very dangerous trend in “Christiandom”, an error, a deviation from what “Christianity”- Christlike living is all about is what the pulpit, Christian platforms are been used for these days. I AM ALSO GUILTY! AND YOU!

The pulpit is been used these days to settle scores with those we do not see eye to eye with. Those not on our “good books”!

The pulpit is used to “Call out” those that we differ with on doctrinal issues. This is causing disunity of the body of Christ!

The pulpit is used to market ourselves, not Christ, as alpha and omega, how awesomely smart and perfect we are.

The pulpit is used to flaunt our wealth, pedigree, and our interconnectionism to the high and mighty of our world.

The pulpit is used to manipulate, oppress, oppose, and suppress others for our own selfish gain and reasons.

The pulpit is used to carryout the agenda of Satan, albeit disguised as “the work of God”!

The pulpit is been used to dissuade and persuade those genuinely seeking The Truth, The Way, and Life that there are other ways, and thus led astray!

Who are we deceiving when we discredit everything the true gospel is all about by eschewing humility, justice, and agape kind of love?

It is time we realize that we are doing more damage than repairing the old ruin, building on the solid foundation which is Christ Jesus. For with every one convert we think we may have “won” over to Christ, many more are been discouraged. Every man’s work shall be tested by fire! See therefore that you are not building with straw.

Lord, many a time I have deviated from your will, oh how I have lashed out from a place of anger and not a place of love. Please forgive me.

I have tried to remove the specks in my brothers and sisters eyes while I have logs in my own eyes blocking my views of myself, clogging my ears to hear you clearly, hardning my heart from doing the right thing, to uphold justice, peace, love, and fairness.

Abba Father forgive me. You have forgiven me much Lord, help me to forgive others.

Help me to overlook the fault of others, thier errors, arrogance and boasting, for it is your grace that has kept me humble and makes me boast only of your goodness and love towards me.

Thank you Lord Jesus for your mighty hand upon my life! As your hand is upon me Lord, no other hand shall be upon me in Jesus name, this I know!

May the light of your countenance continuously shine upon me to guide and illuminate every dark places in and around me!

Lord, would you make me terror to the kingdom of darkness? Let your fire come out of this vessel to devour everything that is not of You! Yes Lord, make me a vessel fit for your use in Jesus Christ mighty name I pray. Amen.

Genuine Conversion, Holy Spirit, And Mammon!

Acts 8:9 But there was a certain man called Simon, who previously practiced sorcery in the city and astonished the people of Samaria, claiming that he was someone great10 to whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.” 11 And they heeded him because he had astonished them with his sorceries for a long time. 12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself also believed; and when he was baptized he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which were done.

Friends, from the passage above, you would think and believe Simon’s conversion was genuine. You see friends, as human and as feeble as our emotions are, we want to belong! None of us want to be ostracized no matter how independent, wise, powerful or strong we are. We don’t want to be the only one out of the pack if we can avoid it.

Note that Simon had been a celebrity in Samaria, well known and celebrated by all until Philip came on the scene. Philip brought the real deal and everyone quickly saw the difference between darkness and light. They unanimously yielded to the light. The people believed the things they heard concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ and were baptized.

Unfortunately, people are not hearing about the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus today according to the Scriptures. What we hear these days, from the Catholic to the Protestant – Presbyterian, Pentecostal and all is more of self-marketing, promotion, traditions, and outright deviation from the truth of the Gospel.

It seems it’s the in thing to be a Christian now, to be born again, to be associated with truth, light, moral, right standing and all that many are willing and ready to pretend in order to belong without conviction and repentance of sin.

Simon was one and many more today declaring faith in the Kingdom of God and in the name of Jesus Christ, yet offering money to purchase positions in the Kingdom, miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit. In verse 18. And when Simon saw that through the laying on of the apostles’ hands the Holy Spirit was given, he offered them money, 19 saying, “Give me this power also, that anyone on whom I lay hands may receive the Holy Spirit.”

The gift of the Holy Spirit cannot be bought! Neither the fruit of the Spirit! How else can this be explained to you? We have all sinned and fall short of the glory of GodRomans 3:23. Every single one of us! However, there is provision for us to be saved, For God so loved the world that He gave us His beloved sonJohn 3:16! To everyone that believes in the Son of God – John 3:36, Salvation is guaranteed by faith alone. You cannot buy it, and if you fake it, time will tell! Faith can only come by hearing the word of GodRomans 10:17.

What word then are you hearing? Preachers! what word are you preaching? Are we seeing a transformation in ourselves? Are people been discipled? Or is it all about the money, position, numbers, activities? All these are not going to be in the book of records! Neither will it matter here when you are gone. Ask the super rich! They are soon forgotten! Every single one of us will be forgotten, only the lives we touch and how we make others feel about themselves will outlive us! Do not base your existence here on mammon! It will never satisfy you! It will make living easy, but contentment is from God!

Greed-is-a-bottomless-pit-which-exhausts-theActs 8:20 But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you because you thought that the gift of God could be purchased with money! 21 You have neither part nor portion in this matter, for your heart is not right in the sight of God22 Repent therefore of this your wickedness, and pray God if perhaps the thought of your heart may be forgiven you. 23 For I see that you are (avaricious) poisoned by bitterness and bound by iniquity.” 24 Then Simon answered and said, “Pray to the Lord for me, that none of the things which you have spoken may come upon me.”

Father, I pray in Jesus mighty name that the thought of my heart and those of my friends contrary to your words be forgiven us in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Be Very Aware! You Are Meant To Shine!

As published a while ago, titled “Spiritual Alertness – Communion With God and Man.

The Church, you and I, the body of Christ have been living in safety, at peace and secure. We have been dull of hearing, insensitive to the times we are in like the people of Laish in Judges 18:7-10. We are not playing defense, nor attack, neither are we shining. The Church is complacent, safely playing Church, lukewarm when we should be hot and be in the attack mode, to uproot and to destroy every work of wickedness within and around us.

salt

The Holy Spirit is not having its expression in our midst as He should because of the state of our hearts, the temperature of our gathering. We are minimizing our shine, the power that lays within us. Compromising our faith in other to conform to the world, to be liked by those of this world, when we already know we are not of this world – John 17:14

salt of the earth1 Kings 19:18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.” Says the Lord. There is a remnant though, those that have not sold their heart to the devil, not bought over by the prosperity or hyper-grace gospel. Those whose garment is without a wrinkle sold out to the Lord come what may! Those whose heart is stayed on the Lord, not polluted or distracted by the love of all that we see with physical eyes.

There is a remnant, immersed and submerged in the water, waiting for a time appointed to arise shine for the glory of the Lord has risen. I wonder why many are not feeling the unrest, the troubling in the body even now! There is an awakening, even though sleep has fallen on many! Oh Lord, open our spiritual eyes to see!

Now is the time for the Church as a body and individuals to set aside every encumbrance and arise shine, to let the light of God shine through us to the dark places in the world, bringing salvation to sinners, hope to the hopeless, joy to the heartbroken, and prepare the way for the coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to whom be glory, honor and adoration world without end. Amen

Insight From The Eyes Of An Outsider Like You!

Hello friends, here are some things I want you to know from the book of Galatian.

Paul is not an apostle through man, but of God  Galatians 1:1. Christ Jesus gave himself up for our sins so that he might deliver us from this present evil age- vs 4. If you live to please men, you cannot be a bondservant, a follower of Christ Jesusvs 10. That means you cannot serve or follow anyone outside of Christ Jesus.

speak truthWhen Paul received the gospel by revelation through Jesus Christ, he did not confer with any man – vs 12. Instead- vs 16, Paul immediately went on evangelizing just like the Samaritan woman in John 4: 5-30 at the well with Jesus. After the encounter with Jesus, she went into the city inviting the whole city to come and meet with Jesus Christ.

What have you been doing since your encounter with the Lord Jesus? How many people, city have you invited to meet with Jesus Christ? We often wait for validation, ordination, and all the protocol and traditions of men endlessly. In the scriptures, every encounter with Christ Jesus broke protocols. It made a bold evangelist out of the most unlikely individualsJohn 4, In Mark 5:19 Christ himself said, in response to the madman of Gadara, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you, and how he has had mercy on you.

characterTherefore, make sure to be led by revelation, by the Holy SpiritGalatians 2:2. And be cautious of false brethren, fake Christians who act as a spy: looking for information to blackmail you, to bring you into bondage. Your freedom in Christ Jesus is of concern to them. They will rather prefer you in bondage for their own selfish gain- vs 4.

Do not yield to their distractions, but continue with your workvs 5. Those puffed up due to their position or whatever need not intimidate you. Stand your ground and you will see that they will come to accept the grace of God upon your life. The Lord shows no favouritism to no man”. His grace is available to all – Galatians 6:6

Anyone concerned about the Kingdom of God perceiving the grace of God upon your life should extend to you a hand of fellowship. If they do not, you should know then, that they are definitely not building the Kingdom of God, but their own personal Kingdom –Galatians 2:9

You are not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. Believing in Christ Jesus justify you! No flesh shall be justified by the works of the lawGalatians 2:16

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!

Live then as unto Christ Jesus!
