Obedience is better than sacrifice! When the Lord gives you an instruction friends, do yourself a favor, take action. Do what you have been asked to do regardless if it made sense or not. Your logic can never reason out the workings of The Spirit!!

God told David he will hear the sound of matching on a Mulberry tree 2 Samuel 5:24. Strange it sounds , impossible it seems, yet David listened for the sound, he heard, took action and the result was victory over the Philistines.

In Luke 5:4 When he had finished speaking , he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon a seasoned fisherman knows way too much about this trade. He has fished all night when it was most favourable to bring in a catch and caught nothing. Here is this carpenter, what does he know about fishing? 

Let down your net my foot you and I have said many times to the Lord by our action. That can’t be Lord! You don’t understand what I have been through!! The prognosis/ diagnosis is pretty bad Lord!  I have gone too far, how can can it be? How can I carry now at my age?He/She hurt me so bad, how can I forgive them, especially as they haven’t even apologized ! Oh! he’s/she’s not even sorry what they said, what they did! Forgive the Lord said!!! Let down the nets for a catch the Lord said!!

Do you get it friends? Has the Lord spoken to you about an issue you’ve been struggling with and you are explaining like the Man by the pool in Bethesda John 5:1-8. The Lord is saying to you today ” Pick up your mat and walk.” Listen and obey!!
