David took Uriah’s  wife, laid with her, tried to cover his tracks by suddenly been interested in Uriah’s welfare, ultimately sending him to his death, all this while the Lord looked on. 

King David must have felt secured, no one will ever guess right? He took Bathsheba to be his wife. The Lord in His mercy sent Prophet Nathan and the King repented. 2 Samuel 11 and 12. 

  1. King Arab did the same thing with Naboth inheritance in 1 Kings 21. This was the only property recorded that Naboth has, and the King with access to any land in Israel, with the help of his queen set his heart on Naboth field
