You Are Known!

It was the will of God for Paul to be an Apostle of Jesus Christ according to the opening statement of the book of Ephesians chapter 1 verse 1

Ephesians 2 verse 10 says we are God’s workmanship created in Christ Jesus for good works that God created in advance for us to fulfill.

This means God created Saul before the foundations of the world was laid according to Ephesians 1 verse 4. The book of Jeremiah 1 verse 5 also state that, before I formed you, in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.

Let me state this here for you: Before God formed you, I and Saul, now Paul in our mothers wombs, God knew us. Before we were born He set us apart, he appointed you, I and Paul as prophet to the nations! Wow! Isn’t this something? You can rest assured you are exactly where you ought to be! In God’s WILL!

Friends, the Lord knew you, had a plan for you, a path to walk through, and walk on. Believe it or not, every single detail of you life and mine are ALL for the glory of God’s holy name. The ups and downs, our successes and failures, the mistakes, the highs and the lows are ALL part of God’s plan to glorify Himself in YOU! Read John 9:3

Do you want to tell me God did not know Saul, now called Paul will be instrumental to the death of Stephen and other saints? God is Sovereign friends! He knows! And He works in ways we cannot simply understand. Ephesians 1:11 says God works out EVERYTHING in conformity with the purpose of his will.

This should encourage you to rejoice even now! You are in God’s will, walking the path He ordained for you, thriving, and flourishing like the cedars of Lebanon, proclaiming , ” The Lord is upright; He is My Rock and there is no wickedness in him”. Psalms 92:15

My message for you today is to trust in the plan of God for your life. In whatever situation and circumstances, ask God to give sight to your eyes so that you might see His mighty hands even in the bleakness around and in the sunshine all over you.

God is in the midst of you, you will not be shaken – Psalms 46:5
