Are You Saved! By Grace or Works?

SalvationLuke 4:18 &19

18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me,because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners, and recovery of sight for the blind,to set the oppressed free,19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor”

As my Lord declared these words over two thousand years ago, so do I declare today. The spirit of the living God has and is indeed risen on me. I bring you good tidings of repentance, salvation and hope of eternal life in Jesus Christ.

You see friends, I have been saved and preserved for a time like this. The world as we know it is full of wickedness and our Lord being merciful has saved you and I and preserved us to do his work on earth. We were saved for a purpose, to bring the good tidings of salvation and thereby depopulate the kingdom of darkness Matthew 28:18. This world is full of darkness and the love of many saints have indeed waxed cold. We have become self seeking and lost sight of the purpose for which we have been saved, called, chosen and commission. Neither cold nor warm.

We are to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything the Lord Jesus had commanded us. He did not just send us but also gave us power to trample upon every works of wickedness, not only that but assured us of His companionship for eternity.

Is every member of our families saved? How about our community, city, state and so on. Do we care enough to stand in the gap for them? Our husbands, wives, children, parent, uncles, aunts, friends, acquaintances, colleagues and so on. We have been charged to make disciples of all nations and starting from where we are I believe is a good idea. Charity begins at home. Is all in our congregation, Churches born again? Have we even bothered to inquire of the Lord and stand in the gap for spiritual awakening in our Churches. It is time we stop playing Church and pray the kingdom of God on earth.

Jesus is with us folks and has empowered us to do that which is of his great pleasure. For everyone reading this blog, would you take a moment to examine your ways. Do you have a relationship with the Lord Jesus? Are you crucified with Christ? Are you seeking first the kingdom of God on earth? Are you eternity bound?

It does not really matter if you believe in eternity or not! Friends, eternity is real and only those that have been washed in the blood of the lamb and are living for Christ will be there. We are saved by grace not by works less any one should boast. You cannot do anything to earn eternity. Human righteousness is like filthy rags before the Most High God. The only way is through faith in the birth and death of Jesus Christ John 14:6. He came and died to reconcile humanity with God. Can you picture it? Every single one of us beings were born in sin and therefor alienated from our maker John 3:16. Jesus Christ came and died in our place to redeem us and reconcile us back to God. There is no other way by which we can be saved except by the appropriation of the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Therefore, let us come to God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Let us humbly ask for forgiveness and forsake all sins that easily besets us and live in sync with heaven. Let us today confess the Lordship of Jesus over our life and seek His kingdom on earth.

Jesus loves you so much this I know. It does not matter where you have been, what you have done. Are you ready this moment to be true to yourself? Then come to the Everlasting Father through Jesus Christ his son. He is waiting to receive you into the kingdom of His dear son.

Embrace life and live. Accept Jesus today as your Lord and Savior. Read John 1:12, John 8:11, John 1:29 John 6:37

Don’t You Forget!

JESUS LOVES YOUFriends, don’t you ever forget the love of The Everlasting Father for all his children. Wherever you are take a moment to ponder on this. He who created the heavens and the earth loves you! Yes! and very much so. Your past? He has wiped away! No memory of your failures and mistakes. Quit hitting your self! Jesus deleted everything with his blood shed on Calvary’s tree.

Will you embrace life again and hold unto Christ. See friends, the wicked one – devil has nothing against you. He will try to deceive you though, to remind you of your past, tell “him/her” to get lost.  You have been transformed by the renewal of your mind Romans 12:2. You are brand new, old things have passed away. 2 Corinthians 5:17. You are untouched and unstained by the evil of this world. You have taken up the righteousness of Christ Jesus! Yes you did!  2 Corinthians 5:21 says “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God”. You are victorious in Christ. You are a success! Shout for joy and praise God. Live life with passion!

We Stand Secure!!!! In His Love.

prettyblueheart-KopieWhat a joy to be in the presence of the Most High God?

What a privilege oh  Lord to stand before you?

What an honor to be called your child?

You who created the heavens and the earth!

You created everything that was, is and is to come

Yet you love us and ours with an unconditional love

You became flesh, took up human likeness

You stood in our stead

On the cross at Calvary

Bearing the weight of  our guilt

You nailed it to the cross

You! Lord Jesus gave us life

And more abundantly

Accept us Lord as a living sacrifice unto you

Let our life’s bring you glory

Let us be used Lord to shine forth your light

Let the light of your countenance shine in and through us

Let us shine in the dark

Let us glow in the light

Glory and honor oh Lord

Belongs to you

Now and forever more

Amen

To God Be The Glory, Great Things He Hath Done

1

To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
  Let the earth hear His voice;

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
  Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
  And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.

2

Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

3

Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

You Are Carrying Precious Gift!!

Heralds of SalvationLuke 1: 57-80 Elizabeth child was going to be named after his dad Zachariah. She spoke up, John he shall be called! Women do not talk where men are standing in those days I suppose. She spoke up for her son, for his destiny – verse 62-64.The relatives had to confirm before they made final an “error” supposedly. They made signs to the father, Zechariah. He requested for a writing material and as he wrote the name John, confirming Elizabeth words, his tongue loosened and he spoke, John! The dumbness of nine months healed, veil of mystery shrouding Zechariah’s service that day at the temple removed. He praised God who had done so wonderful a miracle for him, his family, the nation of Israel and the world we are in today.

Like Zechariah, you and I have been kept quiet by issues and mystery of life. Depending on your perspective, you and I have seen an angel, or is it a demon? Issues have kept you quiet when you ought to have spoken, staring down in place of looking up where the answer lays while destiny is been nurtured within.

Birthing destiny was not that easy for an aged woman like Elizabeth I can imagine. Here is destiny, finally birthed! Hurrah! To be named “strangely” though, thought the relatives!.

Your actions and reactions now that you have been transformed is going to be weighed, put on different scales, scrutinized and probed. Stay true to yourself and God. Be led by the Holy Spirit through the word of God. I say again friends, be led by the word of God or else your John will be called Zechariah. Yes! There must be an overhaul of the old in your life and mine, making room for the new. The Lord is doing a new thing!

You have been transformed! From glory to glory- it is continuous. Therefore, live life with passion for your mission. Daily ignite your passion with the sincere milk of the word of God.

Your transformation will cause an uproar in the camp, either way! Every one will wonder about what has taken place and is taking place in your life. Therefore, stay rooted in the word, lean on God, The Everlasting Father, he will nurture you to maturity and the fulfillment of his plan and purpose for your life.

Don’t ever forget that as a transformed being, you and I are heralds of hope to a lost world. We are carrying the precious gift of the gospel of Salvation, peace and life by grace and faith in the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Stay blessed!
